The injured warden slowly stood up as the other wardens watched her for a few seconds. Her willpower would be quite admirable to most as some of her ribs were broken due the collision with the sturdy wall. She would limp back towards Lerania's group at a very slow pace, and thus she was not considered relevant for now.
'As you're among our kin we will ignore this intrusion if you leave now without further interference.' one of the wardens spoke out loud, it was close to impossible to tell which one of them it was though as they looked all the same and it was not easy to see if a mouth were moving due the distance. Either way, it gave Ash
'Rejected, if you run now you might even be spared though.' Lerania replied with her cold smile as she started to chant without waiting for an answer. Slowly, cracks would be visible on the stone floor between the stairs and Lerania's group, the ground slightly shaking by Lerania's will. Suddenly extremely thick roots would burst up from the ground, creating a wall, diving the round room in two, until destroyed anyway.
'let's start with the others. Leave one alive.' she ordered as she glared towards the other group of wardens. The Renegades would draw their longbows and aim towards the wardens with a quick motion, firing one arrow before grasping their dual short swords instead as they dashed towards them. Most of the wardens were able to dodge the arrows with blink, but due them being rather tightly grouped it was almost impossible for no one to get hit. A few screamed in pain as they fell down due the wounds.
The battle that followed was intense as both sides were mainly focused on the melee combat arts, and due Lerania's troops not being able to use their wires properly due their small space, they was not as effective as usual.
Lerania however cast another spell in the meantime, she chanted for many seconds before forming a small, very compact bolt of dark energy which she sent towards the roof which made it cave in, killing some of the wardens at the back as some giant stones hit them.
The wardens at the other side of the the root wall would have cut through at this point.
Lerania moved her hands towards her chest where she wrapped her hands around a medallion formed as a wolf head. She hissed, an inhuman sound as her skin turned black while growing in size, soon multiple legs would grow out as well. She was an (very) overgrown spider in almost no time.
She'd open her mouth a thick string of web spreading out a across the floor, snaring most of approaching wardens. The few who managed to get in range would have to deal with a rapid succession of stabs from her eight legs, which proved very difficult to dodge for a longer duration, it kept them on their toes making a counter attack impossible. Sadly, the snared wardens would cut themselves lose after a few seconds and came to join their comrades, which overwhelmed Lerania she could not deal with so many of them at once, she shot another string of web towards the roof which she quickly used to climb upwards. Halfway up she would jump down onto one isolated warden to instantly kill him, those struck by Lerania would scream in unimaginable pain as her venom as it was the definition of nasty - and deadly. She used this tactic quite frequently, jumping between the walls and the roof while chosing her targets carefully, one reckless move and she'd have to pay the price - in blood. A few foolish wardens made the mistake to try to strike her in the air, but they got impaled by one of Lerania's legs instead. However the rest of the wardens dodged the rest of her assaults as it was fairly predictable by using the same tactic. Luckily for Lerania though, the Renegades would have cleaned up the other group in the meantime which made the tides turn.
The result would be all wardens dead, but one. 10 of the Renegades would lie bleeding, only living thanks to their enchanted armor. Lerania would contact her main base through telepathy and made them summon a portal to take the injured back to safety.
Lerania let out an annoyed hiss as her many eyes looked over the room. As her breathing pace slowly calmed down she returned to her normal form. She aimed a few swift kick towards some of the nearby corpses before turning to the only warden who remained alive yet unconscious, she sat down on the blood covered floor, not seeming to mind her pants getting painted red. She extended her hands to remove the helmet, revealing the face underneath. Needless to say, it was an night elf like herself, a woman specifically. Lerania leaned forward to kiss the warden - on the mouth (as that was the closest way to the heart) for a few seconds, one of her rings glowing slightly during the process. Afterwards she'd stroke her sleeves against her lips. 'Wake her up now.' she commanded after spitting on the ground. Two of the nearby Renegades saluted before slapping the warden a few times which made her open her eyes- after a while. Lerania wasted no time 'Where are the prisoners?' she asked at once with her eyes locked on the warden, giving her Lerania's full attention. Perhaps surprisingly, the warden answered, very detailed in fact, but either way, Lerania figured it would be faster if she simply led the way instead, being pretty sure that the little control she held over the warden would be stronger than usual due her weakened state. And so, they were led through the many corridors until they came to a locked room with a huge pair of double-doors which seemed pretty hard to burst through with force as Lerania suspected this door was enchanted to prevent anyone from entering - without authority anyway. Whenever it was true or not, she never knew. The warden spoke while standing in front of the door.
'True and and honest I stand before you.'
'As one of the watchers, I ask of you.'
'I seek passage of thee.'
'For my friends and me.'
The doors slowly opened. Hiding a rather large office-looking place, a few bookshelves being at the sides, otherwise being fairly empty a part of a table with a few keys in an iron ring. 'Most of the cells are opened with the same key." the warden explained. 'However, the more powerful ones got their own keys. You could call them the lieutenants of the Demon Hunters, in a way. Though they don't get along and try to kill each other on sight.' she added seemingly unwillingly after a slight delay. Lerania took the keys from the tables, there being six of them in total. Which meant five of those elite Demon Hunters.
She offered the keys to Ashtusk while she spoke. Remain here until the Demon Hunters have drunk -it-. Warden, you will convey the message that they will be free provided they drink one of my vials, I doubt any of them will deny the opportunity for long. I will arrange for the vials to be teleported here in a few hours or so. I will keep an eye on another mater in the meantime.'
She one again brought fourth her teleport scroll as she opened a portal with it. Then passed through it with her hands on her medallion, taking the shape of a raven.
She would appear at the battle between Sargeras and the rest, flying high above them all, simply observing.
OOC: The rimes.
TLDR; Lerania defeated a bunch of wardens and is about to bind quite a few Demon Hunters to her will and is now flying above Sargeras and the rest in raven form.
@Vampiral
Your characters can keep her subordinates updated if you wish, that works fine for me.
