I should probably have mention this earlier but regualar dwemer are 90% resistant to magic and 40% resistant to physical damage. Dwemer skyships and Dwemer centurions are completely immune to magic and 80% to physical damage. They are the most technological advanced race and very powerfull mages. They have mastered knowledge nobody even knows of yet.

Aurora has studied a lot of prophecy books, and he ever read about Gods Bane when reading one of them, he knows that their power are very intense and can't be broken by magic, unless they know certain reversion spells. The prophecy don't mention the weapons however (the 6 weapons of Gods Bane set) neither that nor the reversion spells.
