I'm about to play through the First Human Book again, to choose different things and see how things play out differently in the Second Book. But can somebody confirm something for me? I seem to remember that if you didn't have Salana side with Gardon, then she just never shows up in the final chapter, whether as an ally or controllable. Am I remembering that right? Also, if she isn't, where is she?

I have a theory about Larine.
Her lover was killed by someone/something outside of the elven kingdom.
When the culprit escaped across the elven border Renova refused to send someone to get that bastard.
Larine got mad, yelled at Renova. Renova said "kick her off" and so here we are.
With Larine real mad ever since, Gardon´s enchantment, in accordance with my previous theory, enhanced this "Im mad at her"
trait to a cosmic level. Thus Renova got an arrow to the knee. Yet it also increased Larine´s anger at those, who could have supported her but stayed silent or sided with Renova. Namely then Salana. Ex-friend who, as Larine started to feel, betrayed her. That would explain the butcherish way Salana ended up dying. IT also explains why Salana said that they are now "the allies they were always meant to be" if you get Salana promoted and Larine supporting Renova´s... lets call it demotion.

A thing that has been bothering me tho. When Rangul raided that manor, the first ission of the first orc book. Was it Redfist´s manor? Cos Redfist lost most of his first family and it would seem the orcs did it.
Is Rangul´s human girl a Redfist?

This could be true, though there are no mentions about Rangul and his orcs killing an entire family, but sparing Vanessa. Imean, they killed an entire family and yet spared her? Why would they do that?

If Vanessa is indeed a Redfist, then the family would have two black sheeps.

It started off a small joke, but then it got out of control due to Colonel Aster, I feel like that guy just wouldn't stop, he has a weird personality. . .

Rangul found potential in her i guess. That's the simplest explanation.

That's a very plausible theory. Redfist is mentioned to have moved to Lor, the 1st chapter of the orc book is mentioned to have taken place sometime after the voidwar ended, the same time Redfist settled in Lor probably. There are certainly strong hints. We only just need confirmation that Lor has a coastline.

I mean shar said in redfists post (his story will make you feel guilty about something you did) what redfist defining tragedy loss of his family. What happened to his family us Ragnul. In a game that loves to give names to everything and everyone the "noble" is just noble i would say i have no doubt that it is Redfists daughter Vanessa.

Redfist having a daughter that got corrupted and let a demoness enter her body and another daughter that got adopted by the leader of the orcs and prefers greenskins over her own race...
He will be the laughing stock for generations to come...

okay small question im replaying the campaign with all the same decisions and this time larine was chosen to be queen and not Salana and i have no idea why? any info on what influences that?
You chose the ironforged boni twice, didnt you?( Or whatever those elite elven archers are called, dont remember) If you did twice, then Larine = queen. Hope Im not that late with this answer.

You only need to do that bonus once for Larine to be turned Queen.

so is there a combination of choice that does allow you to have the three of them at your side? i tested it choosing ironforged once and the healer one once each and larine was still chosen as queen.

I thought Letting was supposed to have a different fate? I played the the Golden Guard side, and apparently Lerrig died defending some troops. Will he show up in the Garden side epilogue since he just disappeared in 12A? Also, in addition to Gardon, Lerrig was related to can Durce as well?

Kinda sad we only saw Lera and Larine in chapter 7, and that was it. Was hoping they'd be allies for the rest of the time

Wait how i can get Lera Salana Laria on my side

In the first book let Salana join Gardon n freeing the outpost, then in the chapter where you fight elven rebels as Salana spare Lera (dont destroy her base, leave some blacksmiths and lumber mills standing), join Gardon in the final chapter, then do not choose Larine´s ironforged leadership bonus neither of those 2 times you have the option to.

Im confused, I thought I posted this on this thread. Where was it originally? Must have mistaken threads.

So... papa Redfist dies with Cora if you go with Renald van Durce and spare him in 13? Or just Cora? Or even Orie?

Nah, the Redfists weren't part of van Durce's fleet, they are all fine in this scenario.
Unless Cora died while attacking the Golden Guard ...

In the Epilogue B Aridon asked to see Scarlett´s and Cora´s corpse when I chose to go with Scarlett and let Cora run. Aridon said "Bring me Scarlett Retka´s and Cora Redfist´s corpses" when I killed papa Redfist as well as when I spared papa Redfist, my choice was to go with Scarlett and let Cora flee home.
Also fail to see the difference in chapter 14 gameplay while killing and sparing Redfist.
So it only changes the aftermath with that big bang from Aedale I assume?

Most of your customised versions of priests (red priest, high priest etc) show that they have heal, dispel and inner fire when you point mouse over their rank.

One question that I have tho.
Renova´s twins. What the hell are they? Half elf half...dunno, half elf half stone?

Okay ,fellas, could someone gimme a spolier about how things turn if I chose to consume shard/artifact/both? Bit too lazy to replay :p Also, thoughts for 14B. So basically the Emperor ( aka Largoth) did not betray the Gonden Guard, but thanks to our hovering sarcastic lich the GG now went to crush the emperor. Damn, that was so very kind of Rahandir. Besides, like @Boriss mentioned, in GG ending (spared papa Redfist, chose Scarlett and let Cora go) Aridon says "bring me their corpses". Did I miss something? Where and when Cora managed to die without me knowing it? :D Anyway, I spent all night playing( more like save/loading but w/e), I'd say I have another notch on my belt of tryharding.

If you get shard/eye/both Aedale will be unable to spare papa Redfist.
Then if you go with Renald´s side, his grand fleet gets wiped out.
Also, Aedale´s soul and mind will get completely consumed by Lisara. So, Aedale dies, Renald dies, everybody dies.

And that bring me dem corpses scene seems to be a little bug. According to Shar if you spare Cora and papa Redfist they will survive.

Lisara and Aedale kidnap Marin and he watches as the entire Golden Guard fleet, together with the Golden Guard get completely destroyed.
They then let him go to live out the rest of his life in shame, knowing he could do nothing.
Lisara and Aedale later fuse together in the epilogue, with Lisara now completely being in control.
Edit: Boriss was faster than me. :D
Also Praxeus, the Purificator and the paladin order still survive and will guard the continent.

Thanks for the replies. So in Gardon's scenario killing papa Redfist/consuming artifact means that Aedale will not show up in chapter 14A and will appear only during the epilogue? Am i correct? And for that little bug in the epilogue with Cora, I guess we'll have to wait for a small patch. Although I think Shar and Kasr could use a break from campaign-creation routine.

Yep. She doesn't appear and Merlon gets killed by Krom.
Also i wonder. What makes her so confident, to think that she can destroy the dark entity herself?

Which book you gonna go for next?
Technically the 2nd orc book. But i think he said he will update the 1st orc book and maybe the 1st human book too, before that happens.

Well, she got the power of Lisara all for herself.
The dark entity is also not in full power, neither of them is.
Demon god gone, Aridon is relatively powerful and Brian is but a shard of shadow master´s former power.
She will probably also get some help from Brian and Aridon. Brian said he wants to vanish into shadows but he will probably still act against the dark entity (why else would he collect Renova´s shadow).

That's a bummer. Thought Claire's shiend would be enough :D
Krom is probably the best marksman to have ever existed, so even of Claire attempted to shield him, due to being shorter, Krom would have just shot above her head and still killed him.
Yeah, Aedale casting a sort of divine shield on them was necesarry. Krom's aim is just that good. :D

It would have been cool if Aedale after shielding them used her powers to destroy him.
But good things never happen in Arkain so... :p
Also Shar a thing i was wondering. Did the canon blast destroy the bonelords permanently or just heavily injure them?
Also if Aridon was to break his promise, would Brian make him heavily pay for it?

Yeah, don't worry. :D
They actually really "died".

Aridon raised them again later, though.
Not the easiest task, but he's been growing in power (& went to the gym while Saphira was laughing behind Gardon's back).

That one was, in my opinion, a genius move in the story.
Make us all believe undead fell apart and then this.
Ate it bait hook and sinker.

Ok, then. :(
And finally 3 last questions
1. Did Flammedus, Okri or Brockta the stomper survive after chapter 12?
2. Did Lady Meya survive after chapter 12?
3. If Aridon was to break his promise to Brian will he make him heavily regret it?
