illidan could you post ur work so far...i havnt seen it in the posts for a while.

yeah he's right u kno
i think u shud make em black/grey and they should be spiked...only a suggestion but u know unless mario can jump on his shoulder and become big then it shud be changed

I think it's team colored and if you check previous screenshot there is a skull on the shoulder pads

Even so i think they should look a little more sinister
atm thay just dont have an evil look to em...they need to be less dome shaped and more spikey =D
not trying to be critical...just some constructive criticism
otherwise good job illidan cant wait to see everyones finished product
 
Sorry, the cracks on the Golem texture could not be teamcoloured (since it has no alpha). But I've found another way by adding something else, making the Golem look like som kind of a leader or a king or maybe even a god.

So, what do you guys and gals think?

Yes, more horns or perhaps make the crown more... sinister... so that it fits in with the golem better... perhaps something that could look like twisted iron or metal? Either that, or make the crown try and blend in with the golem better (rock crown or some such thing :p) GL!

I suggest that you modify the mesh of the head. Right now it looks like you just transfered the BM anims and added some spikes randomly, it needs something more to make it look like a hero. As for the clothes and the crown, i don´t think they fit on a golem AT ALL. Just my two cents...

Dan van Ohllus, I have some animation requests for your golem. Please make an attack animation where the golem pushes his enemy with his head spikes. And a second animation where he launches his arm as a projectile towards enemies. Afterwards there grows another arm to the place of the older one. ^^

And yes, the crown looks silly and I'm not too sure about the cloths either.

no he's supposed to be neutral hero.
Currently your golem look quit funny.I'd prefer him to be more serious.
A golem with crown and scarf is unusual even if it supposed to be the king.

TDR whats your race btw? looks like a demon-skeleton too me!

well it's some sort of efreet, so I guess it's a cross between elementals and demons. It'll be like a shadow elemental or something.

Just started texturing. I'll resume work on this when I come back. Happy easter to all you orthodoxes.

hey Dionesiist, have you encountered something where when he walks a sound thing play every time he takes a step and a blood SFX appears on him, or is it just my computer? It was annoying the heck outta me and I just wondered if it was something with the model?
