Yay, this is the first contest I plan to participate in. Don't expect any insane triggers or anything the like.

Stay tuned and be ready to 'Defend the Tree of Life'!

Err, well I've never ever seen a map like this before. I've never ever seen any map even being a tad similar to mine. Originality's something I'm expecting to score high in.

I'm a bit concerned now though, about Vengeancekael being so biased. Uh, you're an unspoken judge by any chance?

Well... I started with a space-themed map, but then I realized KayS already did a similar one for a previous contest. This new map has been a little more fun to make anyway.
The storyline is a bit cheesy for Dark Vestige, but I knew I'd stick with it if I posted up a very early game testing WIP (obvious from the lack of skills, icons and background junk). It's basically a tactical sidescroller (defense/survival), but you can acquire upgrades for your whip to help defend the children better from the risen dead.

Tremble in fear guys!
In last mapping contest my highest rating was 48/100.

:ogre_hurrhurr:
No mercy, no love, no nothing. I'll find everything, every narrow mistake. If you want to hide them, better hide them good!

If I include a spamfuck of trigger comments inside my triggers, will I lose points on coding? I could hide the stuff inside a massive blank wall of text

Gameplay IS the map... Terrain is just a big part.

IMO, terrain is the BIGGEST part...most people will complain about the terrain even if
gameplay is good...
Awesome terrain >>> not boring, gamplay is OK coz of it
Bad terrain >>> boring, therefore bad gameplay

@MADAWC
EVERY MAP has mistakes in the eyes of every a reviewer...

Terrain is the biggest part, yes. But gameplay is the map. You cant have a map without gameplay. But you can have a map without terrain.

Well, Aesthetic Appearance is what makes the spirit of the map. And like human beings, map needs love too, and I would like to see that map which is played worldwide and has shit of (or not any, at all) visuals. That's why more than 45 points will go to Visual Appearance.
And could anyone tell me am I accepted as a judge? Just to know.
