The status indicator gives us information regarding
our general health and energy of our character.

As time goes by and we take actions like fighting,
interacting with a salesperson or something simple like
walking through some forest, we will consume state points.

The status indicator represents the state of energy, sleep,
hunger and health of our character. If this is consumed, our
character will vanish on the unconscious floor. It is
important that this indicator does not end to continue with life.
For this we can consume different foods hunting the region's
wildlife, drinking water or ingesting different types of brew,
resting at recovery points and keeping our character free of
diseases, not expose us to temperatures too hot or cold.

This factor is key to survival in the world of Elysium.

As the adventure continues, we will become allies
of multiple creatures of the forest that will help us survive
outside cities and surrounding villages. Providing fishing skills,
hunting, herbal hunting, water fountains, and more.

We can only have one creature of the forest equipped so

of some town, you must protect yourself from the
cold, the rains and look for some place to sleep.
Tents are excellent tools that will allow you to take
with you a small safe area to manage and save your progress.

The battle system is governed by the interaction
with the chaos rings. Upon entering one of them, a
number of enemies are randomly summoned to
engage in combat.

The equipping of weapons as much as armors and
accessories are a fundamental factor to engage in combat.

Try to be well equipped according to the level of creatures that
live in the surroundings of the region that you find. If you believe

Defeating enemies, completing missions

The first turn-based system fully functional and with a unique

up to 3 vs 3, allowing you to prepare battle strategies based on

The little bloops as time pass is also a nice touch, but my favourite has to be the birds that fly off when you approach them. You could make a system for that - it'll be very popular in RPG maps.

One thing I'd advise is to maybe tone down the fog. In the day-time videos, it was a bit hard to see the details on the terrain. Unless the area is supposed to be extremely foggy, I'd lower it.

You are right in a lot of things. I like the details in this rpg games.
Lot of people remark me the issue with the fog. Honestly, i configured this high to use it like a "old wc3 graphics wash".
In fact, in-game visuals are more softy and the terrain details are more visible than shows in video. You got good eyes and ears to notice all this add-ons.
My favorite is the shield hit impact sense (cant see much in video) and the fishing point.

I think you are that guy from Argentina and I have you on my skype for several years by now, but you seem to be creating a new account, because visuals and systems are pretty much the same I saw previously back then. Am I correct?

Visuals are great indeed, the only complaint from my side would be the sound. Spellbound enjoyed the sounds, but I see a complete opposite from my point of view. Sound effects and music itself is really anime and playful, reminds me mario games or similar, it doesn't get along with visuals. Visuals seems to be really well done and sounds seem to be out of place. But that's just my opinion on the matter, that's how I see it personally. To me fog looks okay, hehe, what a diversity of opinions. :)

I also find the sounds to be very nice, doesn't feel like wc3 at all but more like some spherical harmonic indie game world, which is a much welcomed variety in wc3 maps for me.

Just don't tone it up too much, I think the strength of your sounds is that they are not in-your-face sounds but rather pleasant background ambience sounds.

is great that some appreciate the details. people on this days prefer tons of crap on the games indeed.

I just tried to get out of the wc3 old graphics, so classic and boring to me and add some personal touch, like rpg music, and some system that final fantasy and zelda inspired me (that little glowing fairy is similar to Navi), it also a good environment, sounds etc. Too bad that people like Approject dont like that style.

The lightning system (the thunder effect) is a trick i use with the iluminating system, plus reflections and the sound gives you the false sensation that a storm is above the map.

This is what seperates blizzard games from it's competitors: neat UI with extremely tight sound design, even for simple stuff like buttons.

Also, the systems look well thought-out. The equipment system is a nice touch.

The "heavenly" setting is interesting. There will be unicorns, right?


If I had to criticize something, then it is that you are falling into the typical pitfall of many RPG developers: you try to do too much stuff at the same time with all those systems.
Instead, you should concentrate on content first and then retroactively add more features. Get something playable out, then you can worry about those neat little extra things like XP animations and stuff.

That's just imho, but it's something I had to learn the hard way over the last years. Content trumphs features. And I know where you are coming from... tinkering around with systems is fun. But eventually you'll have to concentrate on getting something playable done, or you'll get frustrated.

Thank you guys for your comments! like zwiebelchen said, there was a time where i get going in circles over and over trying to improve project mechanics and systems, that was because mostly of wc3 graphics and stuff since boring to me, basic, structured, etc. Im not attacking the game, is just wc3 dont need all this "addons" in common wc3 gamestyle just because is a strategic game.
But you guys are right on that, there are a lot of tiny good details and more, but im lack of content at the moment. Honestly, i tried focus on cause a good impression and get support as im continue finishing the game.

Regarding if the players get bored quickly or not, i can promise to all of you that bored is the last thing that will happend here. The implementation of game mechanics was just the begining, the base where i will put all the hard part of the project, i mean, maps, story, quests, end game, etc.
My intention is to create a diferent game, not just a classic linear rpg.
Todays games are just awesome graphics, thousands of skills and a endless of useless things.

My intention with this is to get support of you guys. Get people who really want a finish project, take your ideas and create new versions in a future.

The witcher 3, i never play it, saw a few videos on youtube time ago, and i have to say it have awesome graphics, but is not my favorite game type. I prefer games like Final Fantasy, Fire Emblem, Tera online, Diablo and Bravery Story.
But is a good one i think!

Since I am not used to this sort of map, there isn't a lot I can say about this project for now. However, what you have to show at the moment looks pretty unique. I especially like the background music. Keep up the good work :)

I have to admit most of the time, i used working on the damage system and the map conections formula. This was sooo hard to me, since im not a good coder and have any programing knowledge. Just the main idea, what i want and how i want it.

If i got enough good feedback of you guys, and the proper support, this game will be COMPLETELY finish in a month.

Definitely not a bad presentation. I like the more custom approach, and while I must admit I am unlikely to have the time to play it, I might still take a look at it just to discover what you have changed and how you have done it.

Also glad to see others are using the idea of moving critters more in relation to the player. The sounds on the video for actions, sounded like the is a slight imbalance when compared to the music, but that might also just be the levels you have adjusted for the game.

jajaj nice you like it!. My weak point is the motivation to keep forward on this. I begin making the proyect as a hobby, but if users cheers me up, i can make 20% of the game in 1 day jaja, the systems and the difficult part is already done.
