and yes the replacement idea would have some leaks, and i still dont get how flying heroes are possible..(sorry for noobness)

and most of the models u ppl are using(not including fatbuu) have a built-in fly animation though its not very good

I was thinking of editing the models we have to make a fly model per one or try and animate my own fly animation into them all.

I might see if red-baron can give it ago.

sure would want to, but then it would have to wait to next week again, as I think my study group would kill me if I did something else while I should study.

hey robot dude i finished my gt vegeta models today(with tail since he'll need it to transform to ss4, and theyre not too good but i thought mayb u would like to see them, tell me if u wish to use them-ill send them to u ... also attached is a pic of my geti star

yes i forgot to add the cooler's head but i was thinking of placing it inside the star and only visible in the portrait.. heres my majin vegeta as well

yes, now that its come so far, it HAS to be the greatest map ever!

and robot i viewed your website 'character info' and your vegeta models suck sh*t. i would much rather use the one made by hexenlord and your oozaru's pathetic as well. improve/replace them please and put up a beta version of your model even if its not perfect. its been more than a year and i think a 'beta' should be available

Kinda sucks that this is the reason I haven't released V2 of my Open RPG... because every noob and their butt buddy is using the models me and lacrosse spent so much time on.

well just so u know im going to give u every bit of credit u deserve for the models but the skins of the original models and my new modified ones DOES come from various works of kreshi,ned and Super Vegetto. and i didnt reply to modler2 earlier because i knew that an unrelated conversation would commence- but now that it has come so far- i was only posting screenshots of my models in case robotdude wished to use them. i know this is not a modeling thread but robot's campaign may use the models- and im going to work on robot's fatbuu model's texture to make the cape purple like in the series and hopefully ill be posting the skin here soon.

Funny thing is, the video he posted of Goku vs Buu where he did the teleportation scene was my exact unmodified Goku model.. I could tell because of the wierd kick and spell animations that lacrossetitans made and anim transfered between the models.

It happens. V2 of my map was entering beta stages with a COMPLETELY revised save/load system, spell system, all new terrain, a dozen terrain models, reworked gameplay system with many less bugs, and then I get on b.net one day and see a FEW different maps loaded full of the DBZ Supreme models.

Honestly as far as a single player campaign goes, I don't care, I just hated getting on b.net and seeing someone else giving ONE OF MY STAFF MEMBERS all of the credit for giving them the models.

Say I just ripped them from ESF blah blah, but the fact is that even so.. animations had to be added, attachments, cameras.. my hours were put into them, my testing, my skinning... I mean cmon.

hexenlord no one apart from modler2 is accusing u of ripping the models- we all know its very hard to get an esf model into wc3 with anims,camera etc. but this post was unrelated and you should take your complaint somewhere else,

Here: WE SOLELY DISCUSS ISSUES RELATING TO THE DRAGONBALL Z CAMPAIGN (and the goku model they're using is better than yours-it was made by orgrim-though he seems to have stolen your models' animations)

Don't worry Hexenlord. If you notice any of our models that seem to look like any of yours in our Database on the site please just say, and i'll work with the credits, and only models i've obtained from my sources which were obtained out of your map sadly were the "Oozaru", and "Shanron".

I will be creating a full list of Credits on the site saying thank you to the Offical Creators :).

I do not wish to be a warfare between us, and i want to try and keep this matter neutral, and I'm a fan of your Supreme ORPG, and i was sorry to hear about the issues of Rippers, and Leaks within your Project.

As we've had a leak a few weeks back, and a few models were obtained by someone we wont name at this point.

Give Hex and LT the credit for animating and rigging those models...it seems that's what he wants.

Jarri, please stop calling those your models when they're actually others' models geomerged together.
annnnnnd Modler is right, that model that Orgrim claimed to make can be found on the ESF site.

only the texture and head geoset - and robot said that he would modify the credit list to give hexenlord and LT credits for their shenron and oozaru so that's that. (and i do not claim these models to be mine-i already said i used some resources from others to make them)

I've got a large spawn of maps that are all on the edge of release (extremely LARGE b.net map projects), and a Pre-V2 of my old DBZ map might just be one of them. Updated with completely new terrain, abilities, ability models.. etc. Depending on just how much more Sh*t I get msyelf into with this one depends on whether or not the full V2 is released.

But this is nice, a campaign. I had to hold back so much as far as terrain models, ability models, graphics, terrain detail, sounds, icons.. etc just to make it b.net compatible that it'll never be what it was meant to be. My hats off to you robot-dude, doing something I wanted to do from the start, until I learned of the cursed 4mb b.net size limit and having to rely on others with slow computers to actually load the map up in less than 5 minutes.

Don't half-ass anything. Go all out, or don't do it at all. When you don't have to worry about others slowing you down over b.net, or size limits.. you should let your project flourish to the best of your ability.

I'm actually eagerly awaiting this one, too.

!! to signify that I had edited the armor vegeta model to make it majin- and without my existence there would probably not have been the majin vegeta model. for the last time im not creating all of the models myself nor do i claim them to be mine-u ppl are just annoying sometimes. and hexenlord, red baron is right-that post really was good, we shouldnt be restricted by teh stupid 4mb limit.. thats why im making my own map above 40 mb XD:grin:

Because they are hell... and mostly because of the way they are used. Anyway.. we should consider making a credit tread or something.. because that subject keeps coming up again and again.

Also I dont mind critic or post abouts credits, but I want to make this clear:

When your writing in a map tread Do not refer or talk to about you own map unless it is needed to justify a claim e.g


Oh well it is always nice to know people want this :cool:

Ok i've been redoing Bardock and here are the Results

Bardock V1 = Vegeta Base Model - Hexenlords (Old) <-> Was Edited By Z-man
Bardock V2 = Goku Base Model - Orgrim (New) <-> Was Edited By Me (Robot-Dude)
Bardock V3 = Vegeta Base Model - Hexenlords <-> Was Edited By Me (Robot-Dude)

V3 is the newest one.

I've been working on the campaign, and i've been also tweaking a few game caches, and jsut hoping someone will reply to my request in triggers, and hope i can get my results soon....

I know game caches pretty well, even though its been a LONG time since I've had to use them (project name will remain anonymous as per creator's request... because it was once a hosted campaign on either this site or Wc3Campaigns I can't remember... lol), so I'm a little rusty.

I made a reply in your thread in the triggers section. I cleaned it up a bit and even tested it before posting. Worked flawless. If it doesn't work, just copy what you have at that point and paste it into a reply in that topic and I'll try to see whats wrong with it again.

hmm, i really cant decide between the 2nd and the 3rd. both look good but.. im thinking.. the 3rd is better, at least the shoes are, though i would have liked orgrims' goku's animations.

but i have one question.. when will u actually NEED bardock in the campaign? youre not including 'Bardock: the movie' as well are you?

Yes we are adding "Bardock: The Movie" In. Its an option Saga.

you should add AF, because as someone said earlier, don't half ass anything, make it the absolute best you can regardless of how long it takes
