Hi I'm back. I found a unreal game offer and its not a scam.
Ultimate strategy pack. Company of heroes, Supreme comander, W40k Dawn of war and the Winter assult. All for about 40$. Nuce deal huh?
And I bought Worms 4 Mayhuem.
The loading screen could use some more work.

hi there - i'm working on the turret ofc...
but i have to say: i totally agree in happytauren. i think the mapsize is nearly half the map, if you know what i mean... the map just don't get played if the mapsize is too huge! the people get tired of the whole downloading!
so keep the size AS LOW AS POSSIBLE, please!

for the loading screen: it needs more work... i dont like the black color

I think it's about time we start pming the maps to each others, cause if we upload them everione can dowload and modify/download/test/steal and worst taking all credits for it"!

Ok guys my last post for now and I will cya tomorrow:
Loading screen will be modified from the beginning. I will find a way somehow to make it lower size and higher quality (there is a way but it may not work)!
I need you to make the image as good as possible first and then I will modify.
The models need to be made in the next 3-4 days if possible.
Velm nice offer, but we need some new ideas on the mpa. Any?
Luthion work on the revival and remember what I sai about w8 and revive - I think it doesnt work, try running another trigger from it! As we said much earlier.
The loading screen could be up to 400-500KBs if you like. I can mod it to be medium quality but it will still be medium size. If it was about 400KBs it would look a lot better than just 100-200KBs.
What's going on with timer system Luthion and what about the killing spree thing? HT if you have a way to fix something tell us!
Cya tomorrow and hope things will be better!

Map will start to be pmed ok!

EDIT: I know its a bit late to complain but I think the BOOM is overused.
Maybe Cluster Bananas or Holy hand grenadiers.

Thats the problem. We should remove the maps after first 3 downloads.
Or use the msn or email.

I know a fw free web hosts, but there all bulgerian... If someone knows a eng web host, this is were we can upload a site to who we can add a link to the map. And we will pm the site once, after that simply check the site.

Before i can edit the loading screen (or if velm is better whit 2d art, then he shoud modify it) i (or Velm) need(s) to know the name of the team

EDIT: i will try to remade the plant again whit lower size tomorol

Its not like the BOOM is a bad name, its just blah. We need a name by which we can be known not like: "Oh its just one more of those boom guys that cant think of a name."

HT how do i add an ability to a unit trough a variable using jass(for exaple i have variable
JASS:

it doesn't add any ability to the hero!!!yes i have stored a ability into the variable!

Ok, find a name. I sent you the password which wont change at any cost and wont be ever mentioned here in the forums. We will upload our map in zipped packages that will need password so that we can upload easily and nobody stelas it. Ok?
About the name "Team Boom" was only a suggestion. Make some other and we will decide!

EDIT: Loading Screen - I have found a way to make it high quality and still remain 305KB! Is this ok? It is still the old image, but I will change as soon as the latest one is made. It now uses blp textures and I can lower the size even more if you guys want cause it is now 70% quality and I can make it about 50% to the lower parts wihout anyone noticing. So the size is pretty normal now and the quality is average. Comments appreciated!

HAWK omg i fixed all problems with the trigger and i found the bug in RolePlaynGamer's trigger too, tomorrow he gave up on doing the hero revival system so i remade it from scratch, and now i fixed a stupid bug!
Bug:
You know ow you set variable arrays in GUI right?Well if you set it to Player Number of (Picked Player), if the picked player is player 1 it sets the array number 1, but in jass player 1 number is 0 and player 2 number is 1 and so on, so the arrays were bugged, i fixed by putting a little +1 in all my jass arrays, and now it works perfectly , gonna upload the map after i zip!

Ok now ive made the hero revival system with much effort to find the bug that noone could see.
In every trigger category you can now see wich triggerer made it, added a credits quest to the game(currently only includes our team!), if you want anything changed in both these tell me and ill imediatly change it, thanks alot and good luck!!!

Ok Luthion I will see it after the upload then. But I cant make any skills today :S Sorry for delaying things....
Btw about the skills thing after dying you can make some variable to save skills for slots 1,2,3,4 after the Hero dies somehow. But I dont ask you to do so yet cause we dont have all skills!

The plant model is better ! And little file size. HP is the file size good or is it possible to decrese it even more and how ?

BTW: i want to try to trigger sameting, i'm better at that.

EDIT: I checked the map. At the beggining it did't give me ane wood to buy skills so i used a cheat, but that shoud be fixed. And the vampire worms shoud be darker, not reder IMO. And they are too weak, shoud be more powerfull then any other normal worm unit, because they are from a spell. And are the worms supposed to be able to target trees?

Edit:Hunter im gonna import the model, and all the bugs you found are from hawks part of the map, and that lumber thingy i told him to remove the cost but i can do it myself, gonna fix that bug and import the model and reupload the map!
Update:Done!, the vampire power problem must be fixed by hawk, he does the units/balancing!

Ok the map is clearly making progress. But still we have no name for the team.
But I have an idea: Every crewmember gives the name of his favourite thing like:
tanks, pepsi, fire, bombs or stuff like that.
Tomorow we will see the best name for our team.
I like the credits Luthion (like I could get higher lol).
I'll check back with you tomorow. (I got mayhuem so I could be inactive a while)

Ok, guys I will download the map. Velm the code may be weak but a) how many people will try opening it without the code, b) how many will think of it and c) how many are gonna use a keygen or something for a smei-finished map? Imo very few. So let it as it is for now....
About the skills cost I said they will keep costing as much as they do and I will make a variable for the Hero skills after the skills are finished. I have also seen something wirtten about the vampire thing, but I dunno what you are talking about.
Hunter the plant is very good now and smaller size and the cursor rocks. Absolutely good work.
The team name eh? Ok my words:
Explosion, Armaggedon, Worms :)D), destruction, chaos, war, black, evil, soul, death, reaper, dark. (All that I can think of right now otherwise this would take me 99999999999999 pages!)

About the skill items I rechanged them to cost some gold and lumber as they were. Dont change them back. I have a plan to make the whole thing work without rechoosing every time a Hero revives ok? The system I am planning to make is:
After the Hero chooses skills for slot 1 an integer variable will be set like as if Bind is value 1, Cluck! is value 2 etc. So when the Hero revives a trigger will run and find the stored integer values and bring back the skills. The problem will be the skill leveling tohugh this can be easily made somehow!

Edit: RolePlayNGamer what you mean about optimizing? Removing leaks and nulling variables?if yes then it is optimized, i didn't any BJ's i can think of and still i will have to change the trigger when all the skills are done so thats not really a problem
BTW: Skills have levels????omg then i will have to store ability levels too, thats not to hard but ill just make it when all the skills are done.
Edit2: i gtg and i wont be active today since i have french exam tomorrow and im gonna study for 4 hours or more, so cya later maybe!

Good luck with the exam Luthion! And about the skills, they wont have levels but when a hero reaches level 5 the skill will change e.g. pyro will become lava beam or something like this. But the integer value will remain same so you will have to make a condition checking if the player hero has reached level 5. Ok? Easy I think. Good luck again!
