Finished making the quests now. :)
Only need the dialogues from Vestra and we are golden.

Next points on schedule:
- Creating items
- Making and adding attachment models
- Uploading the map ;)
 
To be perfectly honest here, making items takes 3-4 days and I usually don't work on weekends ;)
So release will probably be around thursday next week.

Also played through all the solo quests today and they are really fun. I think you can have high expectations on Gaias 1.2A. Too bad it's just 4 new bosses, so there isn't enough endgame content to keep you guys busy for a longer time, but 1.2B will come out eventually.

Hello, guys. I've just been wandering about load codes, couldn't find answer in the forum.

Will save-load code be working in next version? Or will u haveto play again since lvl 1 after each update?

That's because I love this orpg, it's unique and awesome ^^ Play it from time to time and newer updated usually do not accept previous code =(

Take your time, but be sure it has a lot of items :D
Don't worry. There's at least two new greens and two new blues of every possible type/user combination. The green items will recycle some existing attachment models, while the blues will have completely unique new designs. At least half of those models will be custom-made for Gaias (most of the new armors and capes).

There won't be any new legendary items in 1.2A, simply because 1.2A is not considered "endgame content". There might be legendary items in later updates. Not sure if they can be purchased, though.

In later updates, there will also be set items.

Magnificent set items blow my goddamn mind. Implementing previous items, such as yarr, into sets. Good lord do it.

Fair reasoning though, whats on your to do list for the release good sir?

I have other things planned with pre-50 legendary items. Some of them will be upgradable with crafting recipes.

Basicly all that's left on the list is creating items and the corresponding attachment models. And that's it. Ah okay, actually, I still need to set up the droptables then, but that usually just takes a couple of minutes.

Fair reason, perhaps a selection of endgame sets for classes would be cool, similar to what the diablo 2 mod Median did.

Solid, solid. I'm expecting to see some pretty badass gear from the 47 bosses. Did you decide to bring the Gargoyle down in the end?

Sets will be part of the D4 droptables. But there will always be some normal items in the mix aswell. Don't like the idea of streamlining the player's item choices too much by making sets.

Yeah I was going to say something there. Having just sets as endgame gear would be disappointing. It will be nice to see where you take it when the time comes :D

I meant was the Gargoyles level reduced from 50 to 47 for the release of 1.2A?

Right on, getting to 50 is going to suckkkkkkk.

Looking forward to everything and such. I'll get on to writing out that last quest today and then I can join the rest of us in complaining about the release date ^_^

Zweib, Can u change a little thing relate to drop rate item, ex: after killing a boss or creep, drop rate of item will be increase a minor, of course it will reset to original when load new game.

I can think why this on triggers but items? D: it's not like the object editor takes that much time to make.


or is triggers involved with them ? o.o

I could imagine than in a map as advanced as gaias there's numerous stats that can only work through triggers(ArP,SP, some bonuses)

You guys also have to account that Zwiebel has his own life to deal with. he doesn't just live and breath Gaias. So even if making items doesn't necessarily take a lot of time, it is time consuming. Plus Gaias map is pretty huge and it has a lot in it. That takes a long time for the wc3 world editor engine to even process commands. A simple text change can take like a minute just for it to register with so much in the map.

1.2a is close and that's enough for me :D

lol no, you just need to disable brush list and it stops taking like a minute for everything (noob s0ul!)

Zwieb doesn't work weekends, something new I found out the other day.

Also he has to create attachment models for a bunch of the new blue items so that will take time. Either way, this week, we should theoretically see 1.2A ^_^
