What is the Best RPG game you ever played?

Maybe many of the threads here have this question but i want to ask you guys too Mine is Elder Scrolls:Oblivion because it has more life than Skyrim.

Legend of Mana, it had tons of quests and no main quest. Also, Ys, it was fast paced and had a good soundtrack...

Uh, I can't really make a choice here from all the games that I /have/ played.
I'm going to vote The Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Souls series, however, since they're which I've been playing recently.

Also, "Action RPG" is a sub-genre of RPG, and yes, that means it is an RPG.

Mass Effect series. 1&2 were amazing.
Diablo 2 was definitely the best of it's time imo.

Lately I would say Dark Souls. I also really liked Diablo 2 and still play it sometimes. But my favorite of all time is still The Legend of Zelda, Ocarina of Time... if that counts.

In regards to story: Tales of the Abyss
Gameplay-wise: Tales of Graces F/FF12
Best graphics: FF13
Best battles: Tales of Symphonia/TotA
Best OST: FF13
Most fun: Brave Frontier (yes, people)
Most diversity: Borderlands 1+2 (It's an FPSRPG)
Most grinding: Star Ocean
Most nostalgic: Pokemon G/S
The hardest: FF10

What is in your opinion the best RPG of all time?Please don't judge by graphics since in most games these days the graphics are better than the gameplay.Games like Icewind Dale had long and good gameplay butdidn't have good graphics.

As for my opinion,i will go with....Dragon Age Origins

My favorite series is Dragon Age and even though Inquisition has the best story I have to say that over all Origins is the best game.
