Kwah: Tool is functional, and fulfills it's purpose. A tad simple, but I'll assume some people have a use for it.

I tested it works good, i have vista at the moment, i also have win xp installed on a vm on this comp so i can test that os also soon.

i think for the hp evasion one it gave me a pretty high hp number like 3Kish but i think i was only factoring in 5% evasion for that test could be why. Other than that seems fully functional

There are some minor things, like under info, Change Log, you can edit it, the image is a little cut off and off course a custom icon can never hurt either. But those are all just minor things. The program is quite useful, offers lots of things

Didn't really find any suggestions currently, but will update if I find any.
Also providing the tool for seperate .NET versions isn't needed, just do it in the one you code in.

I can code in few but it seams that large number of users don't have framework 4.0

Btw I am using Visual Studio 2010

It's really not a problem, if they don't have it, they should download it, I don't see why you should keep back the latest version, we're here to go to the future, not stay behind.

Maybe just change the line: "If program don't work you probably need .NET 4.0"

Missing base hitpoints?
howabout displaying hitpoints (without armor/evasion factored in)

Damage per second isnt factoring in agility... (make sure to compound it right..(i trust u did armor right aswell?))

also shouldnt it be Effective hp WITH evasion, i asume your trying to calculate the average amount of damage the unit with a certain evasion factor would survive..

also it would be nice to add, a calculation number, showing how well the unit would fare against a 1000 hp, 30 dps unit. (or maybe a customizable unit (maybe store the stats of it in a text file stored with the program

It would show what % hp the winner had left..., (-% shows the enemy unit won)

That way units can generally be balanced twards the same number (in most situations, all units with
also Evasion should accept 0, so you can effectivly calculate hp on a non-evasion hero

Also it should just show hp aswell, because spells bypass evasion and armor usually...

And lastly..

allow for null values in agility/str/int so we can do unit calculations...

Honestly I didn't created any virus or merged it with my tool.
It work error less on my PC, if you find it unacceptable ignore it, I really don't know how to help you.

This is a very nice calculator but I wish it had spots for bonus life and mana regen as well as bonus armor and attack speed is there anyway you can add them into the program?

That would be great I play a map called Custom Hero Arena made by Glorn2 that uses alot of complex variables.Being that there are literally billions of possible skill builds and millions of possible item builds having a calculator to compute stats would be great.

It would be nice if you could include an Hero Score or something that gives the Hero a number depending on his/hers stats so its easier to compare with others.

Hero A got 10 DPS and 100 HP 2 HPreg
Hero B got 20 DPS and 50 HP 2 HPreg

That is easy to see if it is balanced but if this:

12 DPS 78 HP 5 HPreg
10 DPS 50 HP 9 HPreg

is harder to see if it is balanced. See were I'm going?

I lost project few months ago when I accidentally saved some shit over it
But if I found some time I will recreate it, add more options and setup that compare thing, that few of you requested

If someone of you want, post list of things you expect to see related to this and I will see how skilled am I to create that when time come.

I'm working on this 2 days for now. So far I finished interface and basic attributes, damage, armor calculations.
I still need to add global block for static variables like hp per str, how much damage is reduced by some armor type and so on.
After that I will add few more useful functions and finally make that battle simulator or whatever you guys requested.

Also some functions like final damage can use really huge numbers up to 2.000.000.000 (I limited it here because there is no need for larger numbers ^_^)
