armor calculation formula

i guess this has been asked before allready but i couldnt find any answer (neither here nor on google)
so, whats the formula that turns the armor amount into the percentage value? (including the parameters from gameplay constants)
 
Yep, and for negative armor this formula is used:

Damage Increase = 1 - (1 - 0.06) ^ (-armor)

While the damage increase is capped at -20 armor.
As ap0calypse said, the default constant of 0.06 can be modified.
