This is a list of notable English speaking oriented Warcraft 3 sites. As the WC3 playerbase isn't what it used to be, connecting player bases could be one of the thing that makes it more entertaining. You can maybe even mention Hive on other sites while you're at it (Do not advertise, especially blatantly advertise unless it's allowed)
Big thanks to xuying for creating the original thread which this has been based upon, he deserves the credit. The reason why this was recreated from scratch was so I wouldn't have to delete the work done on there.
Activity Level Key:
Public Activity = Public posts, uploads, online hostings, messages
Activity is judged off of WC3 activity
5 - 100+ regular public activity per day
4 - Regular daily public activity
3 - Irregular daily public activity to weekly activity
2 - Irregular weekly activity to monthly activity
1 - Very irregular public activity
*A yellow checkmark under map database = limited map database
*A yellow checkmark under forums = no dedicated WC3 forum but can still be used for WC3 discussion
*Modding Based = Website provides various modding resources, tools, and or help for WC3 map makers / modders
*Logo / Affiliate Icons: Some are unofficial and or distorted to fit an 88x width
Np, sure. I didn't put it up earlier because I thought it was just a site with some info pages. I somehow missed the forum since the link was at the bottom.
moddb is, as the name implies, an modding database site. It also has an multitude of forums. You have given activity as 2 to it, i presume this refers to wc3 only cause otherwise its an solid 5, the site is living at all times around the clock.

At the top of the post it states activity is measured by WC3 activity. There isn't a WC3 forum either, but I'll add a yellow checkmark for it linking to its forum.
I'm on the list!? Thank you. How did you even find me? Anyway, here is the template (using the code for BlizzMod as a base) filled out with all my details:

3ICE.HU - Warcraft III World Editor tutorials • Map making help • Official download place for 3ICE’s maps
Rationale:
My affiliate icon is correctly 88px already: http://3ice.hu/img/affiliate4.gif (I don't think anyone wants to see the first three animated ones.)
I have two map databases, the main one is a forum category called "Map Vault": Forum: Map Vault • 3ICE.HU
The other is going to be a proper download portal, but has been "WIP" for years: http://dl.3ice.hu/ (currently unusable by the public)
Anyone can submit their map, but I went with a yellow check mark anyway because I have a very limited map database; I'm mostly hosting my own creations and about 60 maps made by others.
I have collected and organized into categories over 10GB worth of maps but they wouldn't all fit on my web host (Strict file storage limit.)
Modding is my sole purpose. Making maps and helping others make maps. Some tools are featured on my blog: http://www.3ice.hu/blog/ (I wrote detailed tutorials for all of them.)
I'm not sure what to do with my activity level, so I left it at 2. Even though I visit my forum several times a day and get email notifications on my phone whenever there is a new post, we are still pretty much only 1/5 on the activity scale.
I am very interested in Warcraft 3 still. My website is paid for for 10 years in advance, so it's not going down anytime soon. (Maintaining it post-mortem is even in my will.)
Sincerely,
Daniel "3ICE" Berezvai
Edit: THW BETA (New Hive) broke my post (90% of it was moved inside an unclosed CODE tag) can be resolved by removing the brackets (]).
All fixed, aside from those weird titletd and tdalt close tag additions.[/TD]

Oh wow. Cool stuff. Thanks for filling the template.
I found your site years ago when looking up forwarded ports information for Battle.net. I've browsed it several times since then, once to see where the maze designer map is officially uploaded. That map has been a favorite among my cousins, but frotty's maze designer kind of took over that spot last year.
About the activity level, I put level 1 on sites that are lucky to get a post per month. I think 2 fits well.
Cheers :)

I remember your maze/slide designer map, but well imho Max Escape Creation has always been the most complete tool in the genre (and the only one that can actually create maps), dunno if you guys ever heard about it and if not, you should definitely give it a try.
Else, any plans on adding non-english websites again ? They do not have to be listed in the main list, but could be put in a separate list and sorted by language (you can even in a separate thread that would be linked in the first post, if you think it's better).
On another point, maybe you could put somewhere when the last activity check for a specific website was done. Might not have much use for now, but let's say that if someone checks the list in 6months, then the numbers might not always be relevant.

I suggest adding Ranked Gaming Client, as it has tons of users every day. I've been in that community for almost 3 years, so maybe I could make a detailed description.
It's core is DotA, but they have other game custom channels like Warlock, TD, LoD and for any custom game, RPG Mix. They also have ladder for Warlock, LoD and DotA itself.
ausdota.lunaghost.com
this is dota stats website for my server. we play dota daily (one and only australian community on wc3, if you're aussie, come join our public clan channel "Clan AUS")
This post still can be found via google, I think it should be updated.
wc3.net and wcunderground are dead; blizzardmodding mostly is blank or redirects to betting sites (bruh).
