Map Info

This is a total race compilation. You can play with original AI and custom AI at the same time. This map is exclusive for Hiveworkshop only. No permission to re-post it in other website.

*Note*: Avoid playing Night Elf AI, it may cause lag due to map terrain (Building order of Wisp is stuck by trees and Moon Well). Currently happened with Legacy maps.

Hello everyone, I am already solving several problems that I found in Reforged that did not seem evident in older versions. That's in addition to being forced to create some more new systems to solve the limitations of the game itself. It's hard to move forward when you fix something and then Blizzard proceeds to add 3 more problems in the next update.

I have a question for this Project.
Would it be possible to create a new Map Pack?

The idea I have is to use the same Map pool that we have in the Hive Cups Tournaments.
Yeah, that's one of the goals.

Thanks! I was aware of issues encountered in Reforged 2.0/2.0.1, most notably broken custom models after loading the saves, which happened on almost all custom maps, among the other bugs.

But still, it's a good news for your project. Wa666r's War's Legacy is also a good one in terms of custom race. Seems to be an alternate version of the UB for Reforged users, although it's still the most recent one.

That's right, War's Legacy can be a good alternative for Reforged users. In fact, Wa666r and I are working together on several systems that we are sharing for both projects.

Download the Resource Package first, then place the modified "War3.mpq" file to your game folder.

As a last resort, you might want try using an outdated version of this map (Ruins of Alterac), which has a less bug if you are using the higher patches.

Please refrain the post above. This project was seemingly abandoned for long time.

Alternatively, if you are destined to try the latest patch of Reforged for online play on Battle.net, I highly suggest trying Wa666r's War's Legacy instead.
 
Hello everyone, it has been a long time since the last news related to this project.

First of all, I want to apologize sincerely, it was not really what I expected. For me, my initial idea when I received this project in charge was to simply do a usual update, balance what was necessary and fix bugs, but clearly things did not go according to plan. Ultimate Battle, although organized, still has serious problems and flaws that seriously affect the performance of the games, as many may have noticed.

When I realized that a simple update would not be enough, I made a decision that ended up altering the current direction of the project: Redo everything from scratch. And yes, it's definitely not what any of you wanted, it wasn't what I wanted either, but it's exactly what UB needed. It has been a difficult path, full of problems both with the project and with my personal life. I admit that on more than one occasion in the past I felt frustrated and wanted to quit, but despite so much I have not done so and I have dedicated so much effort to trying to move this project forward that I ended up becoming fond of it.

For those interested in the current progress of the next update (let's call it a "rework" because that's what it is):

-The entire project is being reworked in vJass. Every spell and system is being remade from scratch and optimized as much as possible.
-15 races have already been redesigned from scratch, meaning units, buildings, heroes, and everything else has already been redone. Some of them are still being tested to ensure they are fully operational and to make appropriate balance adjustments. 7 races already have functional AI, also recreated from scratch.
-All imports are also being organized accordingly.

So yes, we have already come a long way where my rework of the project is now operational again but still lacks details to be fully functional. Honestly, I still don't dare give a release date for this next update. However, as was my idea, I plan to release a public beta at some point (maybe at the end of the year) so that everyone can freely test the new changes. From now on I will be giving news more frequently, so please stay tuned.

The vast majority of the factions in the Ultimate Battle project belong to @Wa666r, but many of them have been overhauled by @Wa666r recently. Will the Ultimate Battle map also include the factions overhauled by @Wa666r, or will these factions be reworked by you in a completely different way? Will there be also changes in the factions created by other authors (@Unregret , @Sunreaver , @Skyfira and @TiJiL)?

We're approaching the end of the year soon. Are you still planning to hold an open beta, or could the open beta date be postponed? (or the open beta canceled?)

By the way, one of the top 3 entries I chose in Techtree Competition #19 - POLL was your map [TC19] Arthas's Scourge - Undead faction. I haven't played the faction yet, but I think the best techtree and unique mechanics were in [TC19] Arthas's Scourge - Undead faction. I also really liked the factions created by other authors, but if I had to choose just one, I would choose [TC19] Arthas's Scourge - Undead faction.

Hello, for now the project is on hold. Blizzard's latest patches have left me in a somewhat difficult situation, where the project is no longer viable for both Reforged and pre-Reforged versions simultaneously.

The current situation is as follows: If I decide to leave the project for pre-Reforged versions, I must completely discard support for Reforged users because the latest changes from Blizzard have caused some new instabilities and bugs that the project did not have before. If, on the other hand, I decide to completely discard support for pre-Reforged users and focus only on the latest version of the game, I would have access to the latest editor tools, but I know that a large portion of the people who still regularly follow this project are users who are still using older versions of the game.
 
Hola, tengo un problema y necesito ayuda, ya jugué con estos mapas en el 2022 y me funcionaba correctamente, ahora que reinstalé Warcraft 3 e instalé los mapas, ya no funciona, estoy usando 2 versiones de Warcraft, que son la 1.26 y la 127, en ambas ocurre el mismo problema, los iconos se ponen verdes, los buff/debuff también, y los personajes no aparecen, además de que los edificios tampoco aparecen. los mapas dedicados de Razas/Facción Personalizadas funcionan [a algunos no les gusta exodar, void elf y faceless, pero los demás funcionan]. El problema está en Ultimate Battle 2.50 que ningún mapa ni raza funciona como en las imágenes adjuntas.
Hi, you need to download one more file for the game to work, something like war.mpq if I remember correctly, and put it in the game folder. Otherwise, it will never work.

Aw, man, I was really looking forward to playing these maps.

If Reforged is the only version that allows playing online w/other people, then my vote would be to choose to support Reforged, even though I typically prefer classic.

Hope to be able to enjoy this one day!
