Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.

Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.
Also changed Professions bonuses.
Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Chapter 5 is now open.
Fradz model is now changed. Thanks to Kitabatake who made it from the beginning to the end.
Galeoth model is now changed. Thanks Fan for starting the model and making most of it and Kitabatake for finishing it.
Whole stats based systems combined to one big, simple and more powerful system. Credits to Kitabatake for helping me creating this new system.
A new system! Boss status system. All thanks for Maker who created this system.
Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.
Chapter 1 Boss and Chapter 1 Elite Boss are now slightly stronger and they have some new special abilities.
Multiboard is now slighly different.
Fixed a large amount of smaller and bigger bugs.

Fixed(hopefully) loading problems with combat kings and spell book spells at chapter 4.

Fixed Zwill Blade's synthesis, now it should be able to create.
Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.
Spell book spells are cooldown are now changed. Here are the cooldowns from first to fourth 90/180/300/once per chapter.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

Fixed Combat Kings where they were always rested to level 1 after loading.

i can say only 1 thing. Best campaign ever but i am stuck at lvl 7 "the chosen ones mission " at last boss cuz he got 66k hp >< and that stupid king :D can u tell me how to win it? :D?
Actually I don't know. Try stun him when he tries to attack the king or something like that?

I just got to the end of the first chapter of the campaign, finished the riddle questions, and was prompted with one message "PRESS ESC TO EXIT THE CAMPAIGN." But I want to play more of the campaign :<

i want to suggest some stuff...

1) backpack, such great an idea...even at later chapters, because you want your heroes fully equipped but you need flowers, pots etc...

so maybe a quest item-flowers backpack? it would be awsome

2) time in game counts double...like 1 second = 2, is that normal? or do i fail at counting?, check it out

3) Give us a release date of site/or even chapter 2

Great to finaly see an update :)

Well I can again give a bit feedback

Found bugs:

- The Counter for Flowers doesn't work currently.
- Currently the Silver Sword seems to be bugged (unless I am very unlucky) and the stun doesn't proc anymore.

Well now a bit more of suggestions:

- The Elite-Boss-Encounter should be more attackable (maybe only at lower difficulties (normal, easy, child's play))
- I'm not sure but I believe Vitality drops now faster than in the Alpha - isn't too bad, but it shouldn't drop during cutscenes. Maybe also turning off (Child's Play) / down (Easy) the drop.
- Honor and Boss-Points should be merged to one currency.
(- Maybe the passive abilities shouldn't have active icons)

It's really a great campaign and im looking forward to play the next chapers again :)

Excellent campaign. 5/5 Hope you update it soon!

Just a few things:

1.Vitality seems to rapidly drop when I face the epic boss (i lose 5 every 20 sec or so).

2.Potions of str,intel and agi appear east of the shaman when created and consume more flowers than they require.

3.Why cant I access the honor shop?

4.Heavens bless is a bit imba:p

Holy SH**....

That is the only way to describe the awesomeness that is this campaign.

I played a MUCH earlier version, and I got to around chapter 4 or 5, and, even without half of the features it has now, it was pure awesome. All it takes is this single chapter, to see that this map is quite easily one of the best single player campaigns made for WC3 via the WE.

Please carry on, as I really want to see this finished.

Today I started closed beta tests for chapter 2. So if you want to help me, put me into your MSN list and contact me. I'll give you the closed beta then. The idea behind this is that you test and same time I'll fix bugs and make improvements.

Fixed your bugs. I improved Elite and Epic bosses a bit and that vitality doesn't drop in cinematics, but example it drops in Combat King screen... About the Boss and Honor points I slightly agree with you but it's a bit late now and in the next version you'll start to see their difference(now you simply can't because you can't buy Honor Shop Items)

chapter 1

i Played two times trough chapter one and must say i love this game (good job man ;) :goblin_good_job: ), i would like to report some bugs in chapter one
-alchemist profession seems to bug when making some stats pots i try to make an agility pot and it used up all my flowers instead of the required ammount i also didnt found it in my backpack but at the live vendor
-saved a game then reloaded it after the elite boss and found out all my combat kings were reset to rank 1 and my honor/boss points were back to zero whilest the stats indicator said 6 or so , also noticed that my honor and boss points were switched sometimes couldnt buy combat kings while it said i had 6 boss points but was able to buy 6 lives with honor points whereas it indicated zero
-lucky clover increases your luck correctly yet it keeps showing zero in your status screen
-after fighting the epic boss and you decide not to kill him you kill him anyway at the end of thecinematic prob because he's vulnerable again and character just finishes him off
-flower statistic aint working
-wuzzes at the rescue mission have an overseer buff even if you havnt started that mission yet and the overseer aint spawned yet

The save and load system deleting all my spend combat king mag's was pretty frustrating so i guess that needs a fix , anyhow its a great game and i enjoyed every minute of it , looking forward to ch2 :goblin_yeah:

Well then there are a few possibilities:
  • You are below minimum requirements.
  • You do not have enough free RAM probably because you keep too many programs or services opened.
  • A video card or processor error...
    • There is something wrong with your video card.
    • There is something wrong with your video driver.
    • There is something wrong with your DirectX installation.
    • There is something wrong with your processor.
    • There is something wrong with your chipset driver.
    • There might be something wrong with your data bus. (which is MOST UNLIKELY)
  • There is something wrong with your Warcraft III installation.
    • There are changed bytes in Storm.dll.
    • There are changed bytes in war3.exe.
  • There is something wrong with your Windows XP installation.

Anyway, here are a few possible fixes. (try the first. if it doesn't work, move to the second. (stop when it works lol))
  • Re-download the campaign file.
  • If your computer's components are BELOW Warcraft III's minimum requirements, you might consider quitting Warcraft III or upgrade your components if your pocket is big enough.
  • Make sure you have enough free RAM for the campaign. If you have like 1GB of RAM, please close anything you can before starting the game.
  • Completely uninstall Warcraft III and then reinstall both RoC and TFT.
  • Reinstall (somehow...) your DirectX or BETTER install the latest version!
  • Reinstall your video driver or BETTER update your video driver.
  • Reinstall your chipset driver or BETTER update your chipset driver.
  • Attempt to remove viruses from your system. I suggest using AVG antivirus for this. I've used it when I had Windows XP and was very pleased by the results. Do NOT forget to keep your antivirus up to date.
  • Insert your Windows XP Installation CD in your optical drive (CD/DVD/BR reader/writer), reboot the machine and run a System Repair aka System Diagnostic and Repair function.
  • Reinstall your Operating System or BETTER install Windows 7 - much safer than XP and faster than Vista (and also better looking!)
  • Inspect your data bus for any damage and replace it if there is any.
  • Inspect your video card's cooler for any damage and replace it if there is any.
  • Inspect your video card for any damage and replace it if there is any.
  • Inspect your main cooler for any damage and replace it if there is any.
  • Inspect your processor for any damage and replace it if there is any.
  • Finally, if NONE of the above work, then you might consider buying new PC components that do not require drivers like chipset drivers.
    I suggest you use AMD Athlon or better AMD processor, Intel is another story, and I do not want to offend Intel users right now.
    Also, use nVidia (did I write it right?) or ATI video cards. ATI video cards are awesome but, if you are a gamer, you might want a nVidia video card with PhysX, because newest games require PhysX. Try to get video cards with their own dedicated memory, so it will not take your RAM.
    As a comparison, I have 1GB of RAM and 512 GB dedicated video memory. My brother has 2GB shared RAM and video memory. I can play better games! (his processor is the same speed, too, and with one more core!)

Please do not comment about this post. I only want to help, and I've used all my ICT knowledge to try to do so.

Of course, there are many more possible but very, very unlikely problems and thus more solutions, but they are not worth posting.

I hope at least one of the solutions helped.

I play the game without CD. And the Alphaversion of TCO worked well. I´ll check the list later.

Ok I do NOT know how I missed a 100MB Campaign o_O Will download for half an hour and probably will be done with a review by tomorrow(hopefully I got nothing to do anyway xD)

The size can be a problem for some of you guys. I download it within few minutes... I wonder if old computers can handle this campaign at all?

About the next version, it will probably come tomorrow. I finally have fixed a major bug that's been bothering me almost a week preventing me to release the next version. I'm a bit late of my plans. I was going to release new versions every two week but it's now almost 2 and half week.

Hello everyone
I just registered me in this forum to say you I'm glad that I found your campaign.
It's the greatest map I've ever played. The terrain is good, the spells are great evrything is perfect.
Actually I played the Alpha 3.3 version...
Today I want to give this map to my friend and I noticed that theres this new Beta version.
Now it's a bit bad that I have to play from the beginning.
It's ok because your map is really funny.
But in fact I ask me if there is an opportunity to save my status now when the new version with chapter 2 is released?
I don't know if you answered such a question before cause I am to lazy to read all this pages.
Now I start again and have fun =)
I would be glad if you answer this question if there is a save and load function or sth like that.

NOTES

  • If you have played Beta 1.0, you can simply load your characters and resources from it, by adding the newest version to your campaign folder, and selecting simply chapter 2 to play.
  • I decided to simply open all the chapters just like in Alpha Stages instead of making a system to prologue where you could open chapters.
  • Chapter names and the beginning pictures are not yet updated from Alpha versions.
  • There are no more commands in this campaign anymore expect camera commands. Check out your Basic Abilities to see the old commands.
  • In later versions I'll create the fifth and the last optional quest to chapter 2.
  • Like usually, I'll create a new minor version after a major version to fix bugs(if no major bugs are found then no minor versions).

Hey there,
I'm happy that you released the new map.
I will begin with it soon.
But I think the hero get too much exp in the forrest...
Dunno in the Alpha Version it was a hard challenge to make the first quests (I tried the ogres first :D) and I was glad when I reached lvl 5.
I beat every creature with this level and my skills but I didn't tried the Epic and the Elite Boss
So I can't say if it was too hard.
All in all I think you're running too fast now and get your phoenix combo or sth like that too early...
I played it at a Hard Difficulty but until now I just think it's now problem? :thumbs_down:

And it's again time for a bit feedback:

Found bugs/typos:

- Chapter 2: In the description of Treasure Hunter it is written that it is Phodoms primary profession, although it should be Fradzs secondary one.
- Major Bug: At a point in the east camp when I left the Combat King merchant suddenly my screen went black. Interface and minimap was still there, but I'm no longer able to see anything on the main screen. (Update: It fixed itself as I walked again (via minimap) to the other merchant)
- I'm not really sure of it, but can it be that the battle thief profession isn't implemented yet? I found nothing to steal in Chapter 2.
- Again the Flower-Counter: It also goes up when I drop and pick a flower again. In the end it showed: 28/24 in Chapter 2.

Suggestions:

- Removing Fradz's alchemy ability (I think each character should have 2)
- Found Recipies should be shared with the other characters

I will edit this post when I progress through the chapter

I think I may have found a bug. I can't see Phodom's character in his armout in the cinematic and when the game start he is not on the map. Any idea?

I am not sure of this... but i think i had encountered a bug.
Chapter 2 Fradz's lightning mastery will increse the abilities of Fradz for a short period,
but after that period, Fradz's attribuites DECREASED, instead of returning to the normal number... that's why my Fradz is now 425hp and 225mp or something...
And that's pretty imposible to beat chapter 2...

EDIT: sorry... it should be blessing of lightning, which will decrease the attributes greatly each time.
