Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Vitality system upgraded in various ways and I've some plans to upgrade it even further in the future. One big note is that now max vitality will only increases when an item is in a character's inventory.
Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.




New Steal System.
Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.




Fixed a starting bug from chapter 3. It should now work properly.

Honor Shop Disabled. "Ability Bonus" system will be added later to the campaign that replaces Honor Shop Items.

Chapter item descriptions to easier to read.
Now there are only two magical balls instead of three. Also now they give solid magic bonus instead of percent.
Removed Phodom's speciality that gives plus one Dig Power every 10th level.
Also changed Professions bonuses.
Some of the spell book spells are remade and balanced such as first Fire Spell.
Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.
Restore Panel fixed.
Fixed vitality system.
Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.
Now Main Quest 3 can be completed right after watching The Bridge Cinematic at chapter 5.

Fradz model is now changed. Thanks to Kitabatake who made it from the beginning to the end.
Galeoth model is now changed. Thanks Fan for starting the model and making most of it and Kitabatake for finishing it.
Whole stats based systems combined to one big, simple and more powerful system. Credits to Kitabatake for helping me creating this new system.
A new system! Boss status system. All thanks for Maker who created this system.
Now Agility Stat will give critical dmg and evasion chance.
Chapter 1 Boss and Chapter 1 Elite Boss are now slightly stronger and they have some new special abilities.
Multiboard is now slighly different.
Fixed a large amount of smaller and bigger bugs.

Fixed(hopefully) loading problems with combat kings and spell book spells at chapter 4.

Illusory Double illusions now will take 500% damage compared to Fradz from 1000% damage.

Fixed Zwill Blade's synthesis, now it should be able to create.
Increased Phodom's base movement speed from 250 to 275.
Spell book spells are cooldown are now changed. Here are the cooldowns from first to fourth 90/180/300/once per chapter.
Dozens of smaller and bigger bug fixes.




Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.
Fixed Bronze Shovel bug and the dig power at multiboard.
Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.
Items Zwill Blade and Aerial Shoes are now made stronger




Chapter 3 is now open.
Fixed Combat Kings where they were always rested to level 1 after loading.
Fixed a difficulty settings in chapter 2 as they were too weak for the stronger difficulties. Now enemies are stronger as they should be(ATK: 0%/0%/10%/20%/30% & HP: 0%/0%/15%/45%/75%).
Changed Ground Zero's cooldown from 20 seconds to 15 seconds
Edited Aura Of Fire, now it also do damage per second.

Anyone crashing wc3 every time they open the second and fourth chapters?
Chapters one and three work fine though.
Im running Mac OsX if that helps.

I don't know if anyone has asked this, but why the surrounding in chapter 5 is almost completely dark from the beginning? after that it gradually brighter, but still dark and I can't find the way. well honestly i can find the way, but it is a pain that i can't find buried items

finally passed first chapter with 100%
i got to epic boss on chapter two (can anyone give me a clue how to beat this boss his name is "biggest loser in the world" XD)
and i think there is a bug on chapter two i was digging and when i write -mbar it says 0/11 well it doesn't show proper number
well i must say the cinematic in chapter two are awesome.
cant wait for next version

Next version will be released within 2 weeks and it will be the first Beta version. However, some of you might get disappointed because it will only include chapter 1 + prologue only. There is however a good reason for it: I have added so many new systems, so many new things I simply cannot handle the campaign at the moment... Meaning... The campaign is shattered because I have been doing it over a year in "periodic"(and there's even a reason for that: I was in army 9 months).

That is why I must work and test everything chapter by chapter. So, my plan is to release new versions about every two week having one new chapter with every new version. I will make a thread soon somewhere here in Hive explaining more. Just... Wait a little.

This is a project I will finish, just give me time.

I just pass chapter one with both elite and epic boss defeated. This campaign is incredible :D
but I still can't find the last piece of magarath set.can anyone tell me how to get it?

One is bought in Dalli, another part is reward from Elite Boss, and another part drops from a Bandit Lord in southeast

i found bug or something XD
well i perfectly passed all chapters till i came to chapter five
well there is a problem with phoenix combo in bear cave
when i use it window with please don't use cheats pops up and i loaded game then i went in there again and used phoenix compo again and window pop's up after finishing phoenix combo. well looks like i can't use phodom's ulty in bear cave.
found that few minutes ago so i went here to report that.
well at first i thought that 1.st chapter was too hard but the worst was chapter 3 while fighting esper :D

just a hint if you haven't noticed that you have steal ability so don't be nice guy try to steal from monsters.
also what you get is random i think cuzz i tried stealing from bandit lord in chapter 1 and i got flamethrower ability next time i tried chapter 1 i got fire bolt ability.the same thing is whit fradz and monsters
also you will get some items for recipes
if you dont steal you wont get any of those or you will be very lucky and get some item's dropped.

enjoy stealing and this great champing until new version is released ;)

now let's try that bear cave again XD

OK I FOUND SOLUTION AND PROBABLY TE CAUSE OF PROBLEM:

i tried to play few times and only time the window didn't pop up was when i haven't use invisibility with fradz
when fradz was invisible when i used potion or any ability window pop's up
but when fradz is visible i can use any spell

EDIT

here is solution for darkness on chapter five: visit your options menu and adjust light

Found another problem with cinematic after fight with talon
when ? character comes cinematic freezes
+ you cant steal anything from talon cuzz your chance is -20% to steal with set which adds a huge % to stealing chance

Great game but... I got stuck on first chapter. I still have 2 unknown quests, and stuck at lvl 5th for all the time. I've explored whole map and killed all creatures. Any1 knows what do do? I submit SS in addition.

Because every custom campaign suck. I join the battle with leader of murlocs, and he killed me. I was playing 50 minutes and died, because i didn't know what i'll see. Why you cannot made revive system? I think you know, if someone played a lot of time and died because of random shit, he won't play your map anymore, right? :hohum:

About your second option, I agree. However, there was a dialog before the boss warning that it will be a tough fight. I think it should have told you that you gotta save before trying. What should I do differently? A text that clearly says: "You have to save before battling against an elite or epic boss". Hmm?

Loling hard here. If theres a message saying "ELITE BOSS BATTLE ! = > "Hey, save your game, ya know, cause the guy inside there will probably kill you, just a tip". And there's a revive system, but not actually in the first chapter. :cute:

It doesn't work coz he says that I need to be more skilled...

Its in the northwest, not in northeast :spell_breaker:

Hey there, first of all great campaign, am really enjoying it so far.

I do however need some help with chapter 6/7 (if you count the cinematic as a chapter)

1) I'm not sure if this is intentional or not but the fog of war doesn't seem to dissipate after discovering areas
2) I've looked absolutely everywhere and can't seem to find any remaining Demon Generals
3) I've killed what I believe to be the Dark Messiah (It was through a blue door in the main hallway), except after killing him it seems it did not finish the quest, instead spawning a random object on the floor called "Arius the Seeker, or Insta-sell dummy". Not sure at all what happened there

this is the best champing ever made :D

save your game a lot,the best way to kill murloc is to run around and regain mana use skills and kill him that worked every time for me XD
be sure to have that ring 3hp/sec 2MP/sec
make sure you have parts of maragath set and
make sure you have magic orb cuzz it deals dmg when you are hit
be a great tank on chapter 1
i took all stun abilities so enemy's cant move when i have mana
be sure to hit opponent after using stun ability.
aero what about adding new ability when picking phodom's skills i mean when you are picking skills you can pick that fire shield thing which i never pick XD--> what i mean is that i don't lvl up that skill XD

Yea in next version you can actually get all the abilities already because the maximum level for chapter 1 will be 10, character starts with more abilities and some items can actually increase abilities' levels. Also the maximum level of basic abilities are increased from 5 to 20.

The whole game-play is different, you'll see, you'll see.

I read the message when I fight against Fallen Priests or Magican and THE!HA!BIGGEST!HA... But I NOT using cheats. So it´s impossible to defeat them.

So apparently, these sidequests shutdown when Galeoth is introduced to your party, might be something to consider trying to fix. Still am having trouble finding the purple key and doom guards though.

I think the key can be found where actually Galeoth starts in ch 6.

I'm trying to make chapter 6 easier & faster to complete but I wonder how. Any ideas? Aaaaaand... Anymore questions....?

Hey Aeroblyctos,

I figured out the answers to 4 and 5

4) You have to kill him before you get Galeoth, and he drops the unholy shield, otherwise if you do complete it with Galeoth, he won't drop anything.
5)^

The guards weren't really weak, they can just be taken down by solid players. Some things that could be improved would include a faster cooldown on the shop food items, a huge spelling and grammar check :p, maybe a 3rd box? Often now it's hard to keep good items together with items of part sets. Or if you're going to put items of part sets try to keep them to that one chapter (as in all the parts are acquirable in that chapter).

Improve the phodom's ultis, they have to be the worst ulti's I've ever seen considering both do barely any damage :p.

Other than that the game looks pretty solid, apart from the obvious chapter 6 onwards. (Another note for chapter 6; the lava outside of the area where all the dig spots are is very bright and hard to see at times, and put a couple more enemies in the hallway towards the dig spots) You could even consider putting a sidequest here, something to do with that ring of fire perhaps?

Other than that, best campaign I've played, if I can get the time I'll try and make some better imagery in regards to the title screen etc.

P.S. Is it possible to get trough that barrier in chapter 3 and/or defeat that mega boss?

And where do I find Client 001?

@Midas: You have to kill the elite boss. You have to collect all 10 fairies than you get a message after that you have to go to the arena next to the hole wih the barrier.

This is chapter 4th (and I cannot kill him aswell xD but I think I have to weak EQ).

In chapter 3 you almost cannot buy and I don't see any way to kill him (tried to kite but as I get to half hp - he 1shots me).

I cant creat orb of stats. I have got everything to creat it also bought the needed thing from the synthetic shop and than happend nothing. I put all four items in one inventar but nothing happens. And this Exicunator-guy. Can I kill him? I destroyed half of his health. Tahn he healed hisself. COMPLETLY!

Yea, in next version item parts will be most likely to be in same chapters expect the most powerful ones.

I got so much "hate mails" because the campaign was "too hard" so I decided to make it in the past. Also the Elite and Epic bosses will be extremely hard on later chapters.

Just on the reviving system, perhaps put that for the easy difficulty but keep it out of the others? I've had no trouble so far except for the the chapter 2 epic boss. Just save beforehand guys.

Yea, but it takes forever to load chapters because the campaign is so huge. X_X

For experienced players like you, it is easy. However, there will be total of 5 different difficulties in next version. Just pick a harder difficulty and it will be a lot harder. In the current version, there's only 1 difficulty.
