Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Chapter 7 is being remade at the moment. It's almost done and so is the new webpage of the project.
Ok. I just wanted to say that all the mini bosses/generals have one problem. its not that they have too much hp or anything. They all seem to have a spell that can one shot phodom or fradz and there is no predicting when its going to happen. Maybe I am crazy but i have fought each of them and noticed that is a pattern with them. Kar'shi is the worst because he has a spell that hits you no matter where u are and there is no way of avoiding it at all. If I am just dumb please say so but that is what i noticed. Even phodom dies from these spontaneous spells that the bosses cast.

I gotta agree on this, well chapter 6 bosses were really quite hardest bosses of campaign so far but my complaint is not about them this time. There's ghost wolf boss at 5th chapter and it has an aoe spell which one hit kills both phodom and fradz, that one spell lookt like venomancer's ulti at dota as far as I can remember.
And meanwhile, fradz' blood elf model (like at alpha versions) kinda seemed cooler than this recent one xP

I gotta agree on this, well chapter 6 bosses were really quite hardest bosses of campaign so far but my complaint is not about them this time. There's ghost wolf boss at 5th chapter and it has an aoe spell which one hit kills both phodom and fradz, that one spell lookt like venomancer's ulti at dota as far as I can remember.
And meanwhile, fradz' blood elf model (like at alpha versions) kinda seemed cooler than this recent one xP
you can actually predict when it will do that. that boss kinda has a pattern of when it does that move. very hard boss though for the ghost wolf.

Actually every single "instant spell" should have a way to be avoided. For example Narshi, you just need to stop the slaughter halls spinning around the the "impale" won't come.

And another way is just to destroy the slaughter halls totally.

It takes like 4 second to cast? You could just walk away in that time?

It's rly hard to stop all the slaughter halls cuz you have to attk them all. :( .and there are 6 slaughter halls(first time when i was at ch6 i menage to destroy a slaughter hall , i didn't figured out that i must just atk them lol) so if i destroy a slaughter hall , the impale deals lower dmg?

ya but they have so much hp and there are 6 of them. there is no way to do it in time. because they are invulnerable sometimes. no way to destroy them all before they do the impale move. and the impale move cant be avoided so the attack can't be avoided. Maybe I'm missing something but there is no way to destroy them in time. Also there is no way to kill the main boss before they do the spinning. Basically no way to avoid the halls from doing the impale attack is what im saying.

They're invulnerable when the impale effect is not active.

When I was testing the boss I actually could stop them...

Okay will check those.

I wish I had no duties! I just played an hour or 2 completed all the bosses in the first chapter. Besides that it was great fun I find all the story line,difficulty,music,heroes,boss fights and videos (well atleast most of the videos) realy great!
Anyway,
In the control panel>basic commands both heal and boxes function are set on W hotkey.
The name of the gem drop of the first epic boss name is messed up (color code)

In that case I would also suggest to move the potion usage skill along with other skills into the main hero's functions square. Personaly even tough I need the spots, I put potions in the inventory for easy usage, amount left knowledge and being able to know if the pot was indeed used without moving my head to my hero's hp/mp bars.

It is that box in the bottom right corner where each hero holds his skills and other functions such as move,hold,attack etc.. It also holds the Control panel icon in your map.

The Ch 3's map puzzle is a huge mess, it took me 10min, headache and a map I found in the Internet to solve it. Here is my question: If I will post here puzzle ideas, will you consider to involve them in your map? Obviously assuming you like them

Wonderful! I will write them down as soon as I'm back from work!

Anyhow, I had to restart the campaign twice (which is a big deal considering the time it requires) due to a bug causes dark screen. It happend after I answered 'No' regarding whether or whether I not want to buy cobat king abilities by accidentely entering Combat Shop's area in Chapter 4.

i don't know if it is known i just wanted to say in case it is unknown
if a hero dies with a life bonus and phodom's haven's bless spell on it, game crashes.. i tried in different chapters different characters and it always crashed.
it maybe an if statement missing:)

PUZZELS

This is based on a riddle. I hope you will not find this too complicated!
rules:
THIS IS A TURN GAME. Each turn you and the computer may deduct either 1 or 2 from the given number. The loser is the player that receives 0 from his opponent. Computer is the best player possible.
YOUR JOB, BASED ON THE STARTING NUMBER AND PLAYER, IS TO DECIDE WHETHER YOU CAN OR CANNOT WIN THE GAME

A sequence of five right answers will acquire you victory!

I suggest given number to be randomed between 10 to 99.

BOSSES

Traffic Light: Boss is to be buffed in a green glow most of the time. Once in a while during the boss fight, a new buff colored orange will replace the green, followed (around 1sec later) by red color which will also be swapped by green within the next few seconds. A while after, another orange glow will pop, and so on.
While orange comes as an alert, during red colored buff the player must not move, taking full dmg from bosses' autoattack while healing his hero. It is important for the boss not to cast any deadly spells while being buffed in anything but green.

Die or DIE:)ogre_hurrhurr:): Once a hero is buffed, it has to die within 10seconds. Doing this will trigger a ressurection of the hero with full HP and MP. Else will trigger death.

Safe Radius: Short while after the begin of the boss fight and until the death of the boss, the whole map except of a small radius near the boss will be covered by darkness. Heros outside of the radius will be deadly DOT buffed.
I suggest to play with this radius, making it harder to stay within, and also obviously that the boss will not stand still.

BUGS

This includes only bugs which affect gameplay, all sort of typos and weird terrain issues are ignored.

-Ch 5's bridge can be crossed even while it is under construction (Phrodom can with no interruptions though Fradz may need to be stealthed).

-Tooltip of United Soul says that hotkey is W even though it is R.

-I researched the darkness bug (which may happen when exit the Combat Shop). It apears that it has nothing to do with Ch 4, what triggers that is walking while clicking exit. I.e clicking to go to a certain location which goes through Combat Shop (which triggers the small menu) and clicking cancel will trigger the bug.

-Using teleport (tested only in Ch 2) resets camera zoom to its default.

-Glacial Spikeses' hotkey (Ice spell sold by the ghost in Ch 3) does not work.

-I would also like to note that the whole elite puzzle in Ch 3 is terrible. Starting with a no-mind-required puzzle, through an exhausting, nearly impossible, maze and ended with a normal fight with 2golems which has nothing to do with the instructions.

This, I believe, covers atleast half of the gameplay-affecting bugs in the whole campaign! Hope you will find it a use!

for puzzle ideas,
you should create some riddles easy to be answered by all people (for example: if you give food, it will live; if you give water, it will die = what is it? -fire) and player should answer it by typing "-*word*" to find it.
Another idea is, you should create a small place which is danger-free, and task is to player kill himself within the peaceful area. And there are no dangerous things like monsters etc. in the area. On success, taken life point and award item will be given. And way to success is just starve to death at that area. How is it? Was it too simple? xP

For boss ideas, I have some too,
First is, you should make a melee boss which has enormous hp and base attack damage. But his movement speed and attack rate is really slow. Team have to kill him via ranged attacks while running away from him at the same time because he has really high damage. If somebody dies once while fighting the boss, boss will heal to %100 and gain high movement speed and attack rate, which makes nearly impossible to running away from boss then. So point is "if someone dies, everybody die" how is it? xP

Second idea is, a boss repeatedly spawning some explosive orbs. Orbs have slow movement speed and low hp, and they will move towards heroes, they will explode after few seconds and inflict very high damage in a small area (like 100 or 150) on explosion. So player must kill orbs and deal with the boss at the same time.

Third idea is, there are 3 strong units together as one boss fight. When bosses are nearby to each other, they are immensely powerful (like, they have really high attack damage, attack speed and spell damage) but they weaken if they are separated from each other, so player must draw those 3 bosses to different far areas, and phodom-fradz-galeoth must fight them separately, since they are separated from each other, they are easier to kill even with one-on-one. (and boss arena is very wide)


and another idea, this isn't a boss idea and stuff but you should create an advisor for each chapter, which gives advices and how to resist danger and how to success on each boss. I think this may encourage people to beat bosses and make it more fun.
And you should create some certain effects for all bosses, for example, sometimes when boss become invulnerable, I cannot realize it immieadately because there isn't an effect like divine shield or something, so sometimes heroes took fatal damage and stuff the next second lol. You should give them divine shield effect when they are invulnerable, and you should give them a certain effect (same for all bosses) which is cast when they are about to do some special dangerous attack (which must to be evaded or something, lol). Silence effect ("!" mark) seems fit for that purpose. So what do you think about these?

game crashes mainly in boss fights while using haven's bless i told that at least 10 times XD
so get a few extra bottles :)

No way. You had to kill eight of the slaughterhouses before he did the impale attack. That has to be impossible. I wanna see how you did it. Do you think you could post a video or something because i can only kill like 1 and a half before he does that attack. Also making them always vulnerable would help.

i dont know if its my computer's prob or ur map's bt the map doesnt load i mean when the bar is filled nothing happens. Only wc3 is frozen....

Okay, this is a good idea. I will put something like this for chapter 10 epic boss stage 1.

That's a bit too easy. Some bosses will have invulnerable and some not. People just need to learn how they function. But if you think some bosses are too hard just tell me and we can discuss.

Yes that will be fixed. I'll see personally this will be fixed and also I made it that when you click a combat / honor mechant it will be activated(this way it's less annoying).

i dont know if its my computer's prob or ur map's bt the map doesnt load i mean when the bar is filled nothing happens. Only wc3 is frozen....

No, no, no. It's not frozen I just became lazy posting here(sometimes I become lazy). You can see from here how I'm doing. Next version is very close, there's only few things to do and some testing.

That's a bit too easy. Some bosses will have invulnerable and some not. People just need to learn how they function. But if you think some bosses are too hard just tell me and we can discuss.

Invulnerable and danger effects would also add the fights some eyecandy. It isn't so hard to do, is it?

And about that advisor actually I've been doing that already. Like player could activate "hints on" to see some hints after every cinematic etc. Would this do the job or something?

I don't know full features about executioners, all I know about that that they taunt the heroes and so they are extremely hard to kill even as just one. I can't remember that I killed any of them during that chapter. My idea was a bit different from executioners though.

Well, hints are ok though, as long as they give some key hints about each boss.

If there are dangerous spells that may kill instantly I have added something to warn player, there's usually few second wait and some effects.


I don't know full features about executioners, all I know about that that they taunt the heroes and so they are extremely hard to kill even as just one. I can't remember that I killed any of them during that chapter. My idea was a bit different from executioners though.

Isn't chapter 1 elite boss like that? Gives superb attack speed for a little time.

Errr.... Question... Am I supposed to be able to beat the Elite and Epic bosses on Normal difficulty on my first playthrough? Not saying they should be buffed.. Damn hard fights they were, but, was I supposed to be able to do that? D:

hi Aero i wanna ask something

in my laptop with spec :

ram 1 gb ddr3

dual core amd brazos 1 ghz

and vga hd 6250m

but it's so slow for loading the campaign

i got 5 minutes to re load it but it's worth

the problem is if you character die and i want to reload it for better result in battle

i got 5 minutes again to reload then it's so damn long and consume lot of time

can you advise how to shorted the loading screen?

and sorry if my english bad >_<
