Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.

Now quests will give experience like before.

I think that's pretty useful for fradz, I can assure you that I would use it now if that kind of an item was in my vault of items. Meditate issue is least useful point of item, but it's kinda unique feature so I think you should keep that.


Meanwhile on the other hand for next versions, my advice is reducing reaction range of creeps inside colored gates and make them invulnerable until the gate is opened. Or simply remove them all from the map and make them appear via triggers when the gates are opened. Ranged monsters are attacking through wall.

There's one thing that makes me wonder so much, guardian lichs have some kind of spell or something like that that keeps them alive at %1 hp or something like that for a short period of time and whatever you do you just cannot kill them, what's with that ability? and also they explode to do damage when they die though >.> (just like lava monsters)

and there's an issue with fradz again, you gotta change his group formation at object editor, I am sick of fradz going front and dying with 3-4 hits by strong enemies, damn weakling lol. it's especially problem at narrow corridors, he goes front and while I try to get phodom on tank, he dies already afterwards. Someone has to be tank and only someone has to go on front, and that's phodom. change galeoth too if it's same. (I didn't get to him yet)

meanwhile, iron gates ordered in line at chapter 6, when you come close to gate it writes something like "sexy gates lets open them", are those gates eternity trap? I am glad I am saving the game like once every second because I seem to be trapped there for etenity and both gates wont open again.

meanwhile, chapter 6 was so hard for me. I couldn't manage to kill even one boss as far as I can remember, even with items I bought through gold bug, I barely could kill fudo and fradz has died once, as usual. I even couldn't kill those 2 main corridor guards. That might be because of I don't like using pots, dont like using lives or I didn't killed all the bosses from previous chapters or solved their mysteries. Most chapters seemed to have more unknown optional quests than it appears to be, most of the time even though I was sure that I finished all quests on a specific chapter, there seemed more and more optional quests, and at some chapters I couldn't even get some places like caves, lol. (so I mean if optional quests at info menu or multiboard are buggy, please get them done) And usage of pots and lives just seem waste of resources to me, and I only feel succesfull if I kill a boss without using any pots or lives. so I killed my most of the bosses without pots all the way. and fradz was so pain in the ass especially at this last chapter, I'll always being have to try to save him taking him back and this ruins concentration of the battle. Even when I equipped him with all the powerfull gold cheat items, gave phodoms power hammer to him as well, in the end he seemed to be a power machine who hits over 600 with high attack rate, and his hp was higher even than phodom as well.. But I mean, somehow he died first again, lol... I guess I'll sell all the things, and I'll have a give up now, lol

and at last but not least, I can say fradz' former model was cooler. this one looks too dirty, too rogue, too villain, and too smart for him lol. high elven was better.
and I was kinda disappointed when I see that how black hooded man was weak. you should have added him moves similar to fradz' flash strike or some cool damaging shadow spells. It was so easy and all he did was simply attacking. I almost thought that he was sorry for killing phodom's family lol

and the final boss, that dragon, was immensely powerful again :D I gave up afterwards lol

From screenshots you have given I don't see any Synthesis items. Do you have any Synthesis items? They are the most powerful items.

In the next version there will be a lot more items to help the player so this chapter will be slightly a easier to play.

really? there were a few rooms connected with gates and when I get to first room with phodom and fradz and enter the circle of power (I entered once or twice, I cannot recall) both gates are closed and I am trapped there. There wasn't a problem like that for other rooms except for room that is previous of final room. I was trapped there too.
Oh and you should do skeleton mage's optional quest warning-wise too like epic and elite boss warnings.
And I wondered something though, why you don't make combat kings and honor shops as regular shops?
And will you make a mages guild stand or a mage shop that sells spell types in the future? Because we rarely get spells at game and they are always specific ones.
What about ability bonuses? At spell book, at right of combat kings, theres a spell book called ability bonuses. But I didn't saw any use of it yet lol.


From screenshots you have given I don't see any Synthesis items. Do you have any Synthesis items? They are the most powerful items.

I had a few synthesis items but they were either level 1 or 2 synthesis items, and I used them to kill fudo, lol. Most synthesis items are impossible to buy though, even if you had money like I had. Required items are nowhere to be found, and I guess they will be found at the final chapters, especially syntesiser 4 items' requirements.. Set items are not so powerful though.

Hmm, troublesome bug indeed. He had only one move which he used when he was like %10 hp and he casted a green damaging skill which left phodom with %10 hp aswell (lol) but I casted blessing of light or something to save phodom, so, that was easy but well, it can't be possibly harder though, it shouldn't be, lol. but he definitely needs more moves other than that for a respected killer.

umm lol, I hadn't time to check his hp and mana, or I cannot remember them. He was a hard hitter ofcourse but the thing made me "okay I am giving up" was one of his skills, casted millions of shockwaves from north through south and they were too harsh for fradz and galeoth to survive, lol. was he supposed to be weak? o_O

Yeah, I see that you definitely make epic bosses and elite bosses only beatable via abuse of potions lol xP it counts for some minibosses though, that's why I only beat some minibosses.

I bet even those 4 generals and other strong minions like death bringers and corridor guardians were stronger than both black hooded man and his dragon boss. generals were almost impossible to beat for me man. I can say impossible for me, lol. Especially that nerubian one lol.

However, I could kill only one epic (or elite I cannot remember lol) boss by my way so far (not using pots lol) and it was the esper at galeoth's chapter. Thanks to the item that randomly spawns weak golems which I had from an another optional quest (I guess I have taken it from puzzle quest and push-ring-run away afterwards lol) I was able to tank those golems to esper, and an ice spell which I found was extremely useful though. Frozen armature or something like that, gave an insane regeneration to galeoth and that was good. So killed and took the esper in the end. But I wasn't able to use the esper at 6th chapter.

Yeah. Next closed beta will be in 1-3 weeks that includes chapter 7. Next version comes after that.

well yeah, from the instructions I had an expression of I would fill my spell books one by one up to 11 spells each type at the beginning, lol. I accept that they are extremely useful ulti-like spells and they even require a lot mana. I mostly just used galeoth's ice spell though.

yeah I know, this tactic has came to my mind already but I just didn't wanted to bother doing all that lol.
This campaign requires a lot of effort on players hand lol, I didn't closed my computer throughout campaign, when I was sleeping, computer was open as well, through 6th chapter at the end, I can tell that whole campaign's play time was over 17 hours for me lol. So I mean, killing bosses require some part of that effort too lol xP

So every chapter is taking more than several hours to complete properly, even with that I couldn't complete most of the chapters at full, all the epic and elite bosses were remaining, and there were optional quests I couldn't find. Those optional quests are leaving question marks in my head though..


Actually they are beatable without potions with a good tactic and excellent equipment.

Yeah, they are like ultimate spells and in the next version they don't even cost mana(just cooldown + global cooldown), so it actually "forces" player to use them.

So every chapter is taking more than several hours to complete properly, even with that I couldn't complete most of the chapters at full, all the epic and elite bosses were remaining, and there were optional quests I couldn't find. Those optional quests are leaving question marks in my head though..

Some optional stuff can give new information. For example, the real "bad guy" isn't Xvareon, he's someone else...

Yeah, they are like ultimate spells and in the next version they don't even cost mana(just cooldown + global cooldown), so it actually "forces" player to use them.

well lol that's a bit weird but what can I say, cool xP magic skills which require no mana eh xP



There will be Fire, Ice and Lightning only(some of the spells are combined from old spells).

oh :( light and darkness have added some colour to them :(

It's an area where you fight against Mini-Bosses. There are 8 solo matches and 5 team matches(2vs2). It's in chapter 7.

Best campaign i've played so far i'm really waiting for the full version and in short term for the ch7!

Some things that bother me tho, in the chap1 mainboss drops some yellow shit which looks like a item but cant be picked but can be vacuumed and it moves, i hope you look into it, or if its intended then i dunno.

And in chap 4 is the miniboss mielipuoli supposed to be named like that or did you forgot to translate^^?

I thought that you should make a causation system like how it was in mass effect, for example, he should react differently at the end of chapter 6 when they were about to fight against the dragon if he had beaten that elder and listened to what he said about dragons at chapter 5 before. another example, another choice might be if galeoth joins cinematics of other optional quests or not at chapter 6 if you attempted to do main quest and got galeoth first (I don't know if he does actually appear or not though)
I mean, campaign and story should have been able to take shape throughtout all things your character done and accomplished, not only morale and the ending. And phodom should have been furious about dragon more than his slave black hooded man, because dragon have caused the real destruction of his family, I think you should fix this somehow at cinematics.

And I have an another idea about item types.

Too much job. I really don't want to go again and start another remake round that will take like 1 year more. So I think this new Morale system is fine enough and will give enough boost. Also it doesn't fit to my other stories that happens same time and in same world. Things in TCO have to exactly like I want or the stories won't merge good enough.

Well tell me about item types.

maybe heroes should be able to carry only one type of common weapon and armor, what do you think? also you should create a class named shields among armors and split them to make it more balanced and fair, I know it should become pretty hard for chars. but you should give only 2 weapons (main hand, off hand) and 1 armor restriction or player might choose 1 weapon 1 shield and 1 armor, this should encourage the uses of sets and synthesises, you don't touch sysnthesises sets and other special items, so you should be able to carry how much other more powerful items as much you like. So this should encourage people to spend their money on some sets or synthesises and create an immersion. How is it?

It is fine alright, i mean, what more can u want Luffy? there is already a potions system not to take space in main inventory, also you have 6 stashes for items..and almost all the items stack together.. thats a lot of space for items.
But i would agree about the weapon type thing, you see, a mage carrying a sword of awesome might of fire and strength is kinda odd :p. But than again, it doesn't ruin the gameplay so its cool and all. Besides, you need only one tank in a team fight, so give the tank items to phodom.

I requested years ago a full inventory system but it was never finished. So it was then when I decided I won't do items with "types". Also it would need attachments etc it would simply be too much work. So no, no for your suggestion once again. Too much work to do.

I think the current way of items is fine.

you shouldn't had to make attachments but, whatever, ok lazy way for all again lol xP

Well when i showed this campaing to my friends they say they don't like it because is to hard and complicated for them.But for me...
IT'S THE BEST CAMPAING EVER.
+Gameplay is excelet, so many bosses misions quests etc.
-Gameplay is full of secrets.Instead of puting so many quests to Optional you should place them to main.This will sure make some noobs understand that the campaing is cool.
+Story is a very nice one :).(could even make a movie by it).
-Story : WIth fradz the campaing is funny as hell:))))).But with phodom..kinda sick.Only honor and stuff like that.Raise phodom's hummor in chapter 2 and 5(swap battles and first mision)
+Aspect Very nice.You teached Blizzard a lesson of how to make realy nice terain and doodals.
+Hard work-You did a good job.The best campaing i ever so since today.I made an account on hiveworkshop just to show you this mesage.Evry kind of map maker have something to learn from you(Even Icefrog have a lot to learn from you <.< >.>)

erm... maybe im just stupid but i cant go through chapter 1 because of my vitality. its at 0 and till now there was nothing like food to pik up and also i cant figure out how to rest in my house

Thanks for the kind words. Yesterday I lost my motivation because the computer crashed and I lost few hours. Today however when I read your post I got my motivation back and continued with the campaign.

I have also understand that the campaign is too hard and complicated. I've made some great improvements to the next version making the campaign a lot easier to be played.

Okay... I may not be able to say much since I'm 'dying' to complete chapter one -not the bosses, it's the flowers etc (lol)-

So far I enjoyed the game. It's kind of complicated (It took me 3 restarts), but it's fun. It's like a real RPG with story, Warcraft III style. I'm stuck at the Fishtern Demon Elite Boss, but that's it, no more complains.

i've tried one of earlier versions last year and it kinda stopped somewhere in the cold mountains or something as i remembered.. but i had to say that i liked it. it's original and feels that it has work on it and a hard work. i'm downloading the new version. thanks
