Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.

Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".

Now quests will give experience like before.

Today started my Summer vacation and I'm doing now very quickly chapter 7. Soon I can start to test but I need to do few things first like finish few main cinematics in the end, create some item rewards from quests and finish the spell book spells.

When I start to test it usually takes 1-2 weeks to a next version. The next version will have that chapter 7 which is 255x255 size huge city map with full of mini-bosses, quests, puzzles and cinematics.

Bthw, when i was playing from the beggining yesterday, as i mentioned that i will play everything find everything.. after i killed the main boss and the other small bosses, i went to the epic boss(the archmage) and at the end, where i had to chose to kill or not to kill the archmage(because the other game i chose not to kill him, this time i chose to kill him) and suddenly after that after his minions attacked me, i had a critical crush and the game crashed out. Sadly i didn't save the game before entering there.. so i have to start from the beggining :(.
Thought id mention this, if it occours to any other.

About that crash, hmm. I think I've not heard of this bug before so it must be the game-play itself. Do you have Heaven's Bless?

Beta 1.6: chapter 7
Beta 1.7: chapter 8(maybe some interludes)
Beta 1.8: chapter 9(maybe some interludes)
Beta 1.9: chapter 10(maybe some interludes)
Full version 1.0: Everything(all 10 chapters, 9 interludes, prologue and epilogue)

The further I go the easier for me it becomes. Chapter 6 & 7 are the biggest. Chapter 8, 9 and 10 are a lot smaller.

Also there will come minor versions but they're mostly bug fix versions. Estimated to the full version is like... Maybe end of the summer?

aero don't make guards controlable one way or another they can die easily but please put a reward for each guard alive XD well usually i have 2 or 3 alive after a fight with cent :)

i forgot to ask. Lets say someone was crazy enough and has finished all 6 chapters on hardest difficulty in this version would it be like he completed a champaing on hardest difficulty xD

Also about archmage place why don't you remove those potions from there because they are un pickable and i hate when i can't reach something.

True but still that boss fight is really easy if you ask me. it usually takes me about 2-3 min's to defeat boss.
What i forgot to mention is that warcraft stops responding when loading a chapter that's why loading time is longer.
Also phodom's healing and revival spell is crashing game sometimes after revival :/

A very iritting thing with chapter 6 is the vampirelord who heals 25% of his life when he kills something. That wouldn't bather me if not your fradz base ability is to do an ilousion of himself. When the vampire kill the illousion he regain hp and thats making him nearly impossible to kill with fradz.

I downloaded this campaign and play in warcrafIII (1.26a) after video played i can't see anything (no character to control )? and during intro video play i can't see any character appear. Please help :(

wow, god knows how long it's been since i was last here, all the way back at 3.3c in alpha version, but here is what i have to ask, have you put in some sort of ai system that makes things easier to acompolish when fighting the special bosses like in chapter 5, or has everything been revamped since then?

EDIT: i also have a problem with not even a loading screen showing up, is that just me, or a res problem or what?

U mean loading screen literally, or a campaign screen? I think theres no campaign screen yet.
But i dont have problems with the loading screen, i see a map.

no, i mean when i click on the prologue, (aka the setup) screen, i see nothing, where there is supposed to be a loading map bar, i see only a black screen.

Game Points are useless currently, but eventually they'll open the interludes between chapters. There are totally of 9 interludes and they'll reveal many secrets(such as why Xada killed Phodom's family instead of Phodom when he had the chance) and tell what happens between the chapters(for example how Phodom and Fradz entered Kar'Gath).

Yea TCO needs a campaign screen... I'll probably request someone to do that. Of course it must be unique and something else compared to other campaign screens... Any unique ideas are welcome.

If u want it to be unique as u say, something to do with dragons would be more than awesome, but it will take someone with skills to do that :S.. hmm. Maybe if i get a cool idea from brainstorming I'll pm you, and u might jut like the idea.

I will say u dont make the CS until you give the campaign an ending, and after that u can gather all the elements of the campaign and create something good :)

and chapter 1 combat kings shop is bugged. it does not make any problems at first time but whenever I come close to combat kings after that, dialog button shows up and I click exit and screen does not return to normal from pitch black.

umm it wasn't a bug. I wrote it because of momentarily irritation, sorry, lol. invisible road puzzle at galeoth's chapter, you should make that puzzle easier or more clear, it takes so long to accomplish, it takes so long even when I did it second time and it's so hard getting to place you want man, it's really a pain in the arse. you should make those bubbles blink or dissappear-appear more oftenly so finding the road should be easier. and some of yellow bubbles conflict with blue bubbles and cause confusion therefore stepping on it and teleporting back all the way and causing to shout these words in real time; *insert bad language here*

(btw, for the first time I had the chance of fully testing TCO , I'm at 4th chapter right now and I am planning to finish it this time, and story/plot seems so deep and beautiful, I understood this at 2nd chapter for the first time when I saw the archeon deal. I wish you would have made a lot more chapters for this story, lol. I am a bit sleepy though, but I wont give up and finish the game to the top.)

I was disappointed when I saw my level 30 fradz came down to level 20 at chapter 5.

Chapter 2 maximum level is 20 so I wonder what's wrong? You should have level 20 Fradz.

that's really weird because I remember that I had level 30 fradz at the end of the chapter and I remember the maximum of galeoth was 40 and I was able to reach 37 at chapter 3... lol weird, it might be my bad. And meanwhile, fradz really can't endure any damage and still acts rowdy mowdy at cinematics xP well maybe I underestimate him, but he's only good for 1-2 skills and extra item packs for me when he's with phodom, lol


and I found another bug at 5th chapter, that kaza leader's last dialog button makes him give a very expensive and useful item for unlimited times, so whenever you choose that dialog, he keeps spawning the item at the end, lol. Easy way for recipe 4 items for me, yay! :D I will keep one for galeoth too!

Give your Fradz more defensive items and he'll do fine. If not then give some combat kings. Next version combat kings will cost a lot less so they are more useful. And... Fradz will be Fradz to the end of the campaign... But it will be explained why he's like that.

make spheres blink more oftenly and fix some spheres positions. they make player think that the yellow sphere's position is safe to go but there is also blue sphere at some of the the yellow spheres position.

Give your Fradz more defensive items and he'll do fine. If not then give some combat kings. Next version combat kings will cost a lot less so they are more useful. And... Fradz will be Fradz to the end of the campaign... But it will be explained why he's like that.

well, that's possible and easy thing to do but fradz high attack rate always makes me think that he must be the one to deliver high amounts of damage so I mostly give him damage and other useful items. Actually a vampiric item would be just perfect for him, I think.

Actually the story won't end to that point. There's another story, a larger story that happens same time and will go further into the future: the story is about a gifted boy who wins a tournament in Northern tribes and is send to Balgaron to be trained to a dragon slayer.

The boy himself is a mystery already and there happens many things when he travels to Balgaron. He have many companions in the journey and many things happens between them(one kills another, love happen and etc). Once again there are many dragons plotting against each other and awesome battles will be fought.

The story is really complicated to tell now even if I've done the basic structure of it already. I'm not going to do this story for Warcraft 3 but I've been thinking about a blog where I write every week like one chapter or something. But for that I need a partner because my English isn't good enough.

and I found another bug at chapter 5, there's a cliff up above where the ex-mages guild wizard which sells ancient staff or something like that as a part of optional quest, the teleport on that cliff is actually working (without completing teleports quest). And leading to another cliff where stands up above at kaza's. Leading to a lucky chest xP
Meanwhile, talking about mages guild, do you know oblivion too? xP

meanwhile I found a bug at alchemy, potion of health (4th potion at spell book which increases hp by 100 when used) tells it requires square flask at the description but it's able to be made with a triangle flask though.
