Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

All abilities remade and new abilities: Battle Banner, Fiery Ball, Fire Power, Ultimate Sacrifice, Counter Attack, Energy Shield, High Strike, Crystal Plane, Galeoth's Order, Illusion Army, Magic Convert and Magical Fog.
'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.
Now also Strenght increases Critical Damage just like Agility.
Chapter 5 Pumpking Quest's second cinematic updated.
Chapter 7 Epic Boss removed the terrain deforming to decrease lag.
Fixed a lot of bugs you guys mentioned.

Chapter 9 is now available for playing.
Attack and Armor types remade; values are changed and Attack & Armor types are removed. I've made the campaign simpler, easier to learn and more effective this way.
Rebalanced the armor values of all enemy units in all chapters.
Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!

From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!

Vitality system upgraded in various ways and I've some plans to upgrade it even further in the future. One big note is that now max vitality will only increases when an item is in a character's inventory.
Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.




Save & load combat kings and spell book spells are fixed.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.
Combat Kings are remade. All high tier combat kings aren't remade yet.
After every cinematic units you had selected before will be selected for you automatically.
Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.
Chapter 1 Boss, Chapter 1 Elite Boss, Chapter 3 Boss and Chapter 3 Elite Boss battles are now improved.
Fixed Code Puzzle.
Fixed Kaza Leader Dialog.
Remade Chapter 5 Elite Boss Fight and fixed few problems of it.

Fixed a bug and now Black Market sells the correct item: Third Hand. Now you finally can actually get the Thief Set at chapter 2.
Fixed Anthenex Esper's attack type.

Now Lightning Orb's buff should not give any advance to enemies.
Fixed Omega Orb and now it should summon Elemental Golems every 15 to 90 seconds.

Nope, I can't slow the time much but I try all the time.

I so much wish someone could do a "optimizer" program for campaigns(like maps have). It would probably cut 50% of the the loading time.

I'm always @ windows when loading stuff so not a big thing for me.

You can export all maps, optimize them seperately, and import them again, right?
I've exported campaign maps before, and it won't mess up the variables, game caches, etc.
Just keep a back-up and see if it works.

Anyway, it's been ages since I last played this campaign, and it's gotten lots of updates since then. So I'll try it out again soon, and see if I think it's worth a five now (I remember complaining about the dialogue and the cinematics in the earlier versions).

Yeah well I drank today too much alcohol plus I wasn't fast enough to finish the next version so I'll have to postone this to tomorrow. I worked today 14 hours row but it wasn't enough.

So, ehh, tomorrow. I'm gonna go sleep now. I really need that 8 hour sleep. It's 1 hour epic bike journey to school so I must be prepared!

This version opens chapter 7, adds new features and remakes the gameplay. The new gameplay is more enjoyable and easier to control. Chapter 7 gives new characters, reveals some mysteries and finally you're able to fight the mysterious Siluze. Also if you have done some things in the earlier chapters correct you're able to see part of Fradz's secret at this point of campaign already. Good luck and remember that together we will make this campaign great.


Warning:


  • I rushed last few days to actually create this new version so I'm more than sure there will be some problems. Fear not! I'll create in the next few days minor versions to fix all possible bugs.
  • Because I remade some systems these things are not saved from your old save to the new: professions, spells and combat kings.


CHANGES:

  • Chapter 7 is now opened.
  • Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
  • Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
  • There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
  • Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
  • Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
  • Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
  • Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
  • All professionals are now universal.
  • The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.

with me i tried the campaign only after the cinematic where phodom should be there's just a shadow. I think that this has something to do with an error loading the model, but i'm not sure how to fix it, any suggestions?

meh protecting your campaign why bother when it's single-player, that and it doesn't harm anyone if someone wants to alter a few things to their liking.

Ok, it will be your decsion what are u doing next.I'll try to help with bugs:

- Phodoms spell who causing deads bug(i think is Heavens Bless or something like that) do not work.
- In quest in cave, chapter 1 cant activated rescuing of people.I walk near them but nothing is happen
- Black Merchant Chapter 1 - when i buy Divine Seal the spell is not appear in my Spell book.
- When try to pick up flower nothing is happen.The flower just disappear
- Bronze Shovel do not increase dig power when use
- Where is the items and money after killing Arch Mage in Ch 1?Everything miss
- Suddenly the shop near bridge in Chapter 2 just disappear
- Caleoth new spell who heal him and allies and damage enemies, do not work correctly and heal some monsters when casting
- In fight with Boss(Ice queen think), there is a horrible lag probably causing of all this small spiders.Really really bad
- Ch 4 - there is no shop before Epic Boss? do not possible obtain some items?no Adrenaline rush?

That's it for now, i play Ch 4.when i go forward will post other things.This here are major bugs, who makes game really hard to play.Please fix it hurry as u can.Almost are old bugs and i dont know why they appear again.No matter, keep up good work.

Start from prologue, not from chapter 1.

Then it works correctly. It should heal nearby enemies as well. You must use the ability tactically.

There's some shops at the beginning of chapter, one in the middle of map and one secret shop in the caves. And yeah no more Adrenaline Rush.

Okay guys please answer to my questions I'll be creating tomorrow or day after tomorrow a minor version to fix all bugs so that the campaign is more enjoyable. Before that I start tox fix I must gather enough bugs.

So far the worst bug is that Shovels doesn't work.

It's working now, but I didn't do anything differently, not sure, but great maps!

- Yea.When rescue the people and leave the cave, there was a cinematic i and i completed the quest.Now, just cant rescue no one

People told me it was too hard to actually pick them so I removed them.

Btw, the new items are cool. Now play Ch 5, started to fight with Great Murloc and he become invulnerable. Is this idea born in your sick brain or is anoying bug ? :) If campaign have some secrets or new ideas just wrote them here.Its really stupid to play and dont know this is bug or not.Thanks for other info
P.S. Short variant to hotkeys and comands in book and boxes are really really good.Just pleassure to play

Wow the same is with Zombie, fight a little and he become unvul. How can i beat this creatures? Where is the catch?

I have to agree with Mobare. The Blessing simply does not heal as it is implied it should. Also, the hot-keys are sad...just sad. Why on Earth wouldn't you substitute [Q] for your first spell, rather than using it for the "move" command ? It just doesn't make any sense. (this might be just me, not implying any poor judgement)
There are other little things I can keep on picking, but right now I want to finish this campaign for an over-all review. (Hint : Nerf creeps / neutrals bashing abilities. Perma-bashing is just silly)

I kinda lost hope this will be continued after 1 month of watching comments. Now I see new version is here after this long time and I hope it will be as good as I think, 5 months is really kinda much.

*After 6 hours* Well I think everything is just great. The only really annoying bugs are the shovel and the cave quest in ch1.

Because I saw the heaven bless doesnt work I picked the fire shield thing instead. Well since it damages enemies and increases armor It would be good to let it be casted even with full health.

I also saw that divine seal from blackmarket guy is also bugged so I didnt bought it.

Phodom has steal ability in his commands. I dont find it as somekind of bug... maybe in later chapters he can steal items from guys, I didnt get there. But well, I though he cant steal at all.

You have again removed the boxes commands and placed it into the Hero guy with commands... Guess you like removing it eh? I used the commands alot more than the ability. Its a lot faster for me... just enter and -p or anything. Pretty fast, and I have hero still selected. I guess there still can be both things for the boxes. Everybody uses what he likes more.

You said stunned guys wont trigger their abilities anymore. So I guess they should always be immune if its an casting thing. In ch1 fight with ormester, he began to cast the green waves. I though stun will cancel it, so I stunned him and he still casted and nearly killed me. 5% of life left ftw ^^.

Everything is really nicely done and updated. Just these things blocks the gameplay a little...

In ch 6, i make something dont know exactly what and all creatures in map who was invulnuruble become vulnuruble and my heroes atack and kill all of them.Even the guy who will give me the elite quest(outside) so i cant obtain it now wtf?And in ch 4,5 and 6 when some sinematics my Pfodom"s first skill disappear and in this place appear Combat king - Parry, so i have no my first spell.After that, my Control panel disappear too and there is Combat king Counter atack so i cant do anything.After nightmare galeoth abilities button disappear like others and there is the same Combat kingi have 3 levels to up and just cant gain it....Now i am in Ch 6 and i am stucked, because cant obtain quest, and cant obtain Basement key because of stupid Shovel...really really annoying

I downloaded the latest version and tried to play. The "Setting" Chapter wouldn't load, and when I loaded the 2nd map, there was no hero to use after the cinematic (and he didn't show up in the cinematic after he changed models from the peasant to Dragonslayer model, I'm assuming).

Ah I can remember when I first played this campaign its like 3 (?) years ago it was awesome back then and its even better now. I encountered some bugs on my play through and have some general input.

General:

Combat kings are not saved for following levels and when I try to buy them from the shop nothing happens but I loose the honor point.

While not a bug Fradz illusions keep spawning and blocking in the narrow corridors. Can you please reduce there collision size?

Gal...dang can't remember his name but its the frost mage

His single target heal which increases spelldamage is seriously overpowered. A short cooldown, only 50 mana and complete heal allowed me to tank the epic boss without a problem.

To his abilities I personally think you should reduce the cool down and the damage on his q spells. He often feels to passive. Just waiting for the spells to come of cool down.

The Aegis (the armor starting item from Phodom) granted me the armor buff even after dropping and later selling it.

Chapter 1:

Buying the bronze shovel does nothing. Which means that I digging becomes a real pain in the ass.

Chapter 2:

Fradz was seriously hurt as I began the chapter a bug?

Is the lucky Dice working correctly? I didn't seem to get more gold.

Chapter 3:

This annoying troll who does a shitload of damage can attack from outside the vision and its stun was way to long. I don't mind the high damage or long stun times but both is frustrating.

Chapter 4:
The honor shop didn't work.

Please make a teleport for when you defeated the dragon spirit.

Chapter 5:
In the battle with Tallon I used Phoenix Combo and he teleported right away out of it and became invulnerable. With that my play through ended.

Wow the same is with Zombie, fight a little and he become unvul. How can i beat this creatures? Where is the catch?

I downloaded the latest version and tried to play. The "Setting" Chapter wouldn't load, and when I loaded the 2nd map, there was no hero to use after the cinematic (and he didn't show up in the cinematic after he changed models from the peasant to Dragonslayer model, I'm assuming).

Prologue => chapter 1 => chapter 2 and so on... Don't start middle of the campaign.

Aero, Just wondering if the steal bonuses have been taken away in the new version, the ones for 5 successful steals etc. I don't see them so I was just wondering.

Combat kings are not saved for following levels and when I try to buy them from the shop nothing happens but I loose the honor point.
Are you 100% sure? Does others confirm this?

In ch 6, i make something dont know exactly what and all creatures in map who was invulnuruble become vulnuruble and my heroes atack and kill all of them.Even the guy who will give me the elite quest(outside) so i cant obtain it now wtf?And in ch 4,5 and 6 when some sinematics my Pfodom"s first skill disappear and in this place appear Combat king - Parry, so i have no my first spell.After that, my Control panel disappear too and there is Combat king Counter atack so i cant do anything.After nightmare galeoth abilities button disappear like others and there is the same Combat kingi have 3 levels to up and just cant gain it....Now i am in Ch 6 and i am stucked, because cant obtain quest, and cant obtain Basement key because of stupid Shovel...really really annoying

My mind can't compherend what's going on here.

Ok i play ch 6 again to see what cause this.After fight with Vampire lord every creature become vulnuruble but i am not sure that is the reason of this.I try to obtain Elite quest before that and when i leave(when i leave everything is repeat, creatures become vulnereble and show me that this is enemy) and speak to guy outside.he reveal me the quest but i have stand on hold position or my Heroes atack him so...i collect the fire hearts and bring it to him with other required items and just nothing is happen...cant activated the fight.So i am not sure where is the problem but is bad because imagine when u destroy shops, quest creatures and everything other....u need to check. About other bug, untill i play just watch some cinematic or, fight with some one, or nothing special and when i look to my panel once Phodoms first spell is gone and there is combat king - Parry and i have no spell...or other time bug appears on my main button where is basic comands - dig, vacuum,atack...so i cant go in to dig, or whatever u want.Other time combat king is appear in my gain level button so i level up and cant choose skill.Fuck!!!Now i remember other thing.Last night in Chapter 7 when i go to Arena to fight (with Fradz)i win and when use comand to box my Phodoms boxes is not there.Fradz and Galeoth was there but Phodoms no...and i lose all in them and need to restart.

other thing - in Ch 6 when obtain all items to make one big (artifact with Thief set, Deadly knife and others) nothing is happen.All in my inventory and nothing.Try to change heroes but the same.In ch 7 i lucky take it the same artifacts(with Fradz) and now he is done wow just luck!Recipe dont work correctly.There is one more set that i cant obatin and i have items but i forget it have to check and told u latter.

Last: Ch 5 Epic fight - i win(with7-8 lives) but is really hard to see what is goin on in all battle, that means little place, to many units and super hurry moves from boss.When u cast with all heroes and boss cast too on my screen is just...fuckin war:)And i dont recognized nothing.Place make place a little bigger(if u want and can), not for something special just think will be good.
Btw, new icons on aftifact and all new sets are just great.In this order minds i think u must add artifact(or not 1) who gives ability to become invulnureble for some seconds(or may be more) something like Divine Shield Paladins magic or something else.This is just a suggestion but i am sure that will be great!

A bug I tried multiple times to fix.

I checked the combat king list at the start of ch4 and ch5 and it was/is empty.

And you had combat kings at chapter 1 and 4?

The recipe didnt work in Ch 6, but work in ch 7.Now understand?

Please do that today as soon as possible.

This is set with the artifact Decimation(r), in recipe is writen with "r" or "n", artifact is not the same, diferent last letter.I have all items but nothing is happen.

Kombat kings disappear late.I dont pick em up now, and have no bugs with buttons in my menu.Something is wrong with them

Magic Gauntlets give 24 strength instead the 12 strength and 12 intelligence as the tool tip says.
