Story
Background Story
Twelve peaceful years have passed since The Great War ended. The war that lasted centuries but no man could recall the reason of. The age of despair, bloodshed, loss and grief is now past. The new age brought the opportunity for human kingdoms to rise, as humanity has broken free from the grip of the dragons.

This story focuses on Kingdom of Balgaron and three famous Dragon Slayers: Phodom, Fradz and Galeoth. Each of them starts their journey in different places, but they will eventually meet eachother and join forces along the path. Together, the three are forced to go a conflict beyond their imaginations.

Lead them into an epic world, guided by a strong storyline that covers hate, love, war and peace.

The honored Dragon Slayer Phodom gave up his life as a warrior and began a new life with his wife and his children, far away from the capital of Balgaron in the small town called Dalli. All his plans were going smooth and easy until someone steps into his life and changes everything...Fradz is a young energetic Dragon Slayer known for his short temper and bad manners. This silly thief is a very powerful warrior and it is said that he even killed powerful dragons single-handedly. After the war, Fradz went on many journeys, but one day a mysterious voice told him to travel to the famous Dragon Inn to meet someone who was once very close to him. Fradz accepts this new journey, as he knows that he cannot decline it...Galeoth, the son of a legendary Dragon Slayer lived up to his father's name and became one of the leaders of Balgaron. After the war, Galeoth still believed that the war was not yet over. His obsession to find dragons led him towards the Icy Mountains where he is about to uncover a horrible secret that will change the fate of mankind...

'Critical Chance' attribute added! It starts from 5% and it can be increased various ways.

Improved chapter 3's ending dialogues (outdated).
Vacuum's area of effect reduced. You cannot grab items from far away anymore.
Background stories and so-called "Books" are completely added to all chapters in this version.
Every single Spell Book spell has been added to the campaign!
Many new items and item changes. For example, superior items, which costs a huge amount of gold, are added to middle chapters; however, they're worth it!
Improved the multiboard a lot. Now it is more informative and better organized.
Combat kings once again rebalanced and changed. The major thing is that now they all cost 2 Honor Points.
Espers improved and made even stronger. Please come and tell me what you think about the Espers now. I've seen that players don't use them and I really want to make them useful.
Many changes to the starting packs! Now they should be balanced, every single one of them!
Stealing improved; now it shows the percentages.
Easter Eggs added; currently just 2 but there will be a total of 12 Easter Eggs. Check them all out!
Mystic Storm and Frost Shard recoded.
From this version onwards, a number of items can only be bought once. Choose wisely and try not to lose those items. You cannot buy them again!
Small changes to abilities, but not much. I plan to once again balance them in the coming minor versions. For example, I was thinking to completely remove Bleed, Brittle and Stagger. What do you think?

Now every fourth ranked synthesis Item will require a Zozi to reduce player from getting too many powerful items at early chapters.
Now each STR gives 20 health instead of 25.
Now each INT gives 10 mana instead of 15.
Chapter 4 Wisps are now easier to catch
Black merchant can only be seen between 24:00 to 6:00 o'clock.

Chapter 7 is now opened.
Boss points are now removed from the game. You can still change your Boss points to Honor points by writing this code: "-change".
Remade all item, ability, spell, esper and all other descriptions: they are now shorter and easier to read.
There is only fire, ice, and lightning spells now.
Improved multiboard by a lot, added some new stats to it also.
Added new combat kings and new spells. Combat Kings now only go up to level 5.
Added some more tactical meaning to the battle: some abilities can do or use buffs called Brittle, Stagger, and Bleed. For example some other abilities can use these buffs to deal increased damage.
Now Special abilities will increase by every level instead of every fifth level.
All professionals are now universal.
The Critical Damage bonus starts from 100% instead of 0%. The chance to do a Critical Hit is still 10%.
Once again, more items.
New Spell System: Instead of spell books you can easily use spells from left corner just like potions.
The file size is now bigger because I imported some resources to the campaign. The expected file size in the end will be about 120mb to 140mb. I hope the file size won't be a problem.
New balanced attack and armor types: Sharp, Blunt, Magic, Light, Medium, Heavy, Sturdy and Elemental.
Now some enemies are categorized as Summoned, Undead, Drgon and Monster. Some items and abilities can do extra effects to them.
Now enemies won't do their abilities while stunned.
The campaign is now optimized and protected. All thanks to Shadow Daemon for creating the awesome "campaign optimizator" program".
Fixed some bugs.

Most of the item descriptions are updated.
Some of the items are remade.
Upgraded Lucky Boxes and put new unique items.
And a lot of bug fixes.

Added Game Panel where you can for example eat food, move your boxes and cast espers.
And many, many other changes. Once again so many changes I simply cannot remember everything.

Six new Galeoth abilities: Chill of the Frost Master, Frozen Storm, Icy Barrage, Inner Light, Mesmerizing Ice Crystal and Piercing Shard.

Now quests will give experience like before.
Fixed chapter 5 ending.

i had an idea. why not make 2 dificulties then? one for frst runs and a second for the seconds go throughs.

I have been planing to put "select your difficulty" to prologue(which is currently disabled from the campaign). So you can't change it while playing.

The meaning of epic and elite bosses is to make the campaign REPETIVE. So if you wanna experience whole campaign, you have to play the campaign through at least twice.

Brb, now I go test chapter 1 and then I upload it.

I already gave some for the elite boss .. for the epic, it is just a lamme like heel boss.... seriously INVULNERABLE when you cast spell is LAMME LIKE HELL.
Also, you used "-give up" at level 10, i used it at level 7 !!!! why ?? Bceause was waiting to finish Holgro to and move on and thx to you I just had to start from beginning.
So you can see why I can't by your items ...

About the epic boss, I am using 130 health potions and 25 mana, I do hope the reward is better ...

You should either make his spells JASS or vJASS so you don't have an INVULNERABLE boss casting spells !
OR, it doesn't need to be so difficult.... You can solve that problem using 3 GUI triggers ...

The campaign is updated to 2.2b.
- Chapter 1's elite and epic bosses are now once again weaker. Also fixed elite boss' spell cooldown bugs.
- Added new command, only works at chapter 1, "-bar". Shows your progress at chapter 1. Will be added later to other chapters.
- Fixed box loading bug. This can be a serious bug and I prefer playing this version than 2.2a or 2.2.
- Fixed other bugs you guys mentioned.

About the epic boss, either not make him invulnerable while casting or make a way to avoid his spells (the ones that really hurt).
You asked me if another box should be added. I don't really know, I'll tell you after I finish the campaign, because I haven't played it since version 2.0 and I don't know how many new items you've added.
And I was thinking about the fact that each character has a movable box is a little weird. My idea is to replace them with whisps. By that I mean only change the name from Phodom's box, for example, to Fire Whisp and the model, so that it fits better into the story.
At the beginning of chapter 2, there was a weird bug: after I had chosen the spells, one of them was missing (from the category of Speedy Boost, Hydro shield and the other I can't remember). After I restarted the game and chose the spells again, everything was fine.

You made a right decission. If you see that selected spell is not in your hero, start the chapter from the start. Because then it's not added to your hero.

Hmm... so after all, everything works with spells? Btw, can I send you a text from chapter 11 so you can translate it? It's quite long but I think it's good!

in responce to that wisp thing, i do agree we dont have enough inventory space, however adding another box i do not believe to be tthe right answer. i think then we would have to much space. agreed we all want to keep all the unique items but it is possable to go to far. now adding a whisp would be great but again with to much space. i propose adding a whisp that only has 3 nventory spaces. thereby giving the extra space we need and not going to far. also you could make it so the whisp passivly follows you. to keep this from being exploited youd have to make sure the whisp will teleport back to the hero if it gets to far away but that shouldnt be an issue. if done right could this also not allow a hero to carry quest items with them while not forcing them to take up an inventory space? sounds very handy to me. those are my thoughts on the issue.

So, a wish that follows the hero? Sounds sexy. It will be easy to do.

About the wisp thing, I didn't mean for your player to have boxes AND wisps, I meant for the wisps to REPLACE the boxes. As I said before, change ONLY the model and the name (I was thinking instead of "Phodom's Box" -> "Fire Wisp", "Fradz's Box" -> "Lightning Wisp", and "Galeoth's Box" -> "Ice Wisp".
I've received the texts, I think I'll have them done by tomorrow evening, if that's OK with you.

i know you didnt mean for both boxes and wisps but i think both would be good. so long as the wisps following the characters are small. first theres the issue of not enough inventory space. but also it gives extra space for the hero to carry things like quest items while not having them take up space in there inventory where weapons and things may rest. with a little work one can make it so the wisp can carry potions and use of them in the wisps inventory effect the hero as well. but thats something for later, still i think both would work better than the one.

-When it says that a spell is influenced by level, it means hero's or ability's level?
-Fradz's Sword Dance lastd 10 seconds I think, not 5 as in the description. Also, in the tooltip, add the cooldown of the spell and what affects it. (This refers to the spell after it has been selected)
-Thunder spell->write the cooldown and the affect by parts with yellow.
-There's a Wildboar Nunja (shouldn't it be "Wildboard NINJA?) that is trapped in a rock, on the path to Khutzi; I forgot to take a screenshot, sorry.
-Chapter 2, one of the murloc huts belongs to the enemy, the others are neutral.
-Chapter 3, Ice Bold and Frozen have the same hotkey.
-If possible, could you make some way for players to know the damage of spells? I was thinking either you add the equation that determines the damage to the tooltip, or you add some floating text when a spell is cast (like bonus damage from Ice Bolt, when you cast it a second time on a target).
-Aura of Fire: before you put a skill point in it, it says the chance is 10%. After you do, it says the chance is 20%.
-Do you have to buy the axe in chapter one to be able to have all three Sapphire Axe, Ruby Axe and Topaz Axe? I mean, if you don't buy it in chapter 1, is there a way to get 3 axes?

-About your summon system, I am not sure. The summon will fight by itself, but what if you want it to retreat? I have an idea: You leave the controls for moving and attacking with the summon to the player, but you make the summons autocast their spells while in combat. Also, you can make your boxes/wisps follow you or leave the way it is now. I personally like it more the way it is. Just one thing: instead of writing "-mb", could you make a button/ability for the boxes, with the same effect?

I think I'm going to create somekind of list. But I'm not familiar with floating texts and I think they look ugly. :(

They are same because of balance.

First Brother - Increases the armor of the Hero by 2. Also, everytime you are hit by a enemy unit you will recover 2 hit point. |c00E55BB0[6]|r

About Sword Dance: I think 10 seconds is better.
About Thunder spell: The part where it says "Cooldown: X seconds" and "Effect increased by ...", write them with yellow.
About Legendary Murloc Head: I'm not saying you make it better. But the parts that make it, they are exactly the same, except for their names. Make them a little different from one another. I will tell you if I think of anything.
EDIT: Sorry, I see now that the 6 brothers ARE a bit different, I just hadn't noticed it. Leave them as they are. Oh, maybe make it so that the first 2 brothers add 1 armor, and the last 2 add 3 armor.

Well, say some suggestions, but I think first piece should be powerful because it's at least from elite boss. Others are not.

-I'm going to think about the murloc set and tell you if I have any ideas. Anyway, you are right, and you should leave it as it is.
-I just finished chapter 4 and I had some big inventory space problems. I have a suggestion to help with this: move miraga's ring from the shop at chapter 4 to a monster drop in chapter 3, and at the shop put Maragath's last piece of the set. This way, instead of 3 occupied spaces (Maragath's Belt,Amulet,Miraga's Ring) you would have only one occupied space (Maragath's Set).
-During the cinematic from chapter 5 when Phodom meets Fradz, Fradz is at the same position as his box. It looks a little stupid, Fradz standing inside a box and swinging his swords :).
EDIT:
-IMPORTANT! In chapter 5, Fradz has no spells except Sword Dance. The other ones that I put skill points into are gone. At the beginning of chapter 6 Fradz had only the spells that I had chosen in the previous chapter. Does anyone else have this problem? If you do, then Aero, please fix it and release 2.2c.
-Sword Dance should be level 3, it is level 2.
-During the first cinematic, you can see Fradz on the hill with the demon portal.
-How do you get to the region with the magic shovel? Or is it not done yet?
-You don't have a place to buy shovel from in chapter 5 (you should be able to buy a normal shovel too).
-At level 11 when I received a skill point, I noticed that the Speedy Boost was missing, same thing as at the beginning of chapter 2 and I did restart the level with no effect.
-When does the Dire Wolf appear?
-After you meet Fradz, the main quest appears on the screen, but not in the quest tab.
-By the trebuchet there should be 2 workers and a militia that don't appear in the cinematic.
-After you have answered correctly to some of the riddle questions, you receive a message that says "You won 10g gold" (10 is just an example). It should be either 10g or 10 gold, not both.
-I think the final riddle question, the one for the honor point, is the same in chapters 3 and 4.
-So inventory space is a big problem in chapter 4, I barely managed to take all the items I wanted from chapter 5 with me: I took set items and items from the recipes, a shovel and food (1 slot). In chapter 6 I had no space to take with me the Old Sword, the sixth brother or the speed jewel. Up until now, I think if you add another box or something (6 slots) it would be okay. This, or Flame_Phoenix finishes his complex bag system that, if I remember correctly, could hold a lot of items. Currently, with 3 characters and 3 boxes, you have a total inventory space of 36 slots. If a few more slots could be added, so the inventory would have about 40-45 total slots, it would be excellent! I really hope he can finish it. Good luck, man, hand in there! :D
EDIT 2:
-There's a strange thing about Teleport Strike and Flash Strike; sometimes after Fradz casts one of them, he remains yellow and while he's standing, he moves up and down faster than he should (I mean his idle animation); if, for example, I have cast Teleport Strike and the ability is now in cooldown, I can activate the other with the hotkey of either of the two; also, when one of them is in cooldown, I can click on the icon of the spell that's not ready to activate the other one; this might be related to the fact that there is a likeness between them, if you can fix them it will be okay, but if not, I suggest you replace one of the two.
-Galeoth's Box is in the middle of the region where those executioners walk, right in the center of the path surrounded by torches.
-When I gained control of all the three heroes for the last battle of chapter 6, Galeoth had no spells, same as Fradz in chapter 5. The skill point I had put into spells were gone, except for the summon.

the elite boss of chapter one, the huge murloc is now balenced. i took him out with alot of effort and 3 tries but it all payed off as my careful choice of inventory and skills allowed me to beat him without spending more on potions then he gave as a reward. so unlike before it is now possable to make a profit off of this boss. i even had some potions left over. ill now go attempt the epic boss and see if i cant do the same. P.S. in the quest log for the primary quest revenge in chapter one after having met the caravan it states that you met with them and where the hooded man went twice.

edit: ouch, pain. that epic boss hurts! my guess though is that i have to outlast him. to wait till he runs out of mana and then tear him to shreds. problem is he kills me fast. i can see why an obcene amount of potions is needed for him if one doesnt have the 20 honour point stuff from the store.

edit 2: okay, is the first brother deliberatly hidden? sinse your automatically removed from the cave when you finish the quest you give no hint of there being anything down there afterwards. in that cave also the player may walk through the rock and up the walls. cant go far but i guess it could be exploited so that one may keep murlocs off your back. i was only able to find 7 of the 8 burried items. i checked the map most thoroughly and wasnt able to find the last one. the report at the end of the chapter said i hadnt found the first son even though it was in my inventory.

Maragath's Armor Armor can be bought from chapter 4 instead of chapter 5(in next version of course). This allows you to complete Maragath's Set at chapter 4 because other two parts can be bought in chapter 1. Should I do something to Miraga's set? I have been thinking to put all those parts to chapter 5 but I won't do it untill I have elite & epic boss in chapter 5.

Oh yea, right. It's a new bug because I put those boxes with rush. Will be fixed.

Yeah, this is a major bug. It seems like Frad'z spells are not loaded(or perhaps saved). I knew this kind of bugs will come sooner or later. Well, it's new spell system. I will fix this and load a new version of the campaign soon as possible.

Other comments I will answer soon as I have done this.

You are doing it the wrong way. Phodom has no anti-mana spells, and there is no anti-mana items. The boss's main attribute is intelligence, this means that we will never run our of mana.
I also defeated that boss, how did I do it?
I selected mainly offensive skills for phodom, hist attack is nearly useless against that boss so you must damage him with stun, meltdown and fire arrow ability. You will need a lot of potions also and when you are ALMOST killing him save the game. (Yes almost killing him, like 25% hp). Why ? You'll know why...

I am also announcing I will start remaking CBS ... wish me luck ....

Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaahh... hmm... so another box? The problem is, when you have 2x box, they will always go on top of one another(when you use -mb command).

The bug is, they are both made from same spell. HMMMMMMMMM!!!!

So here are alot of bugs... I think I will just made version 2.3 here with all bugs fixed. However, this may take hours, or days. I will also add some new spells to Galeoth, but chapter 11 won't be incuded in this new version. I will answer rest of the comments later. Soooo...
- Fix spells
- Add some new spells to Galeoth
- Fix all grammar errors from Riddler questions
- Fixed bugs you guys mentioned

Finally, I don't recommend to play chapter 5 or above. Those are bugged because of Fradz's and Galeoth's spell loading. Sorry about this, will be fixed soon as possible. Today evening, or tomorrow.

-I was level 10 with Fradz and the Sword Dance had level 2. Phodom was also level 10 and his Area Attack was level 3.
-During the first cinematic of chapter 5, the camera moves so you can see the landscape. When the camera goes over the hill where the portal will appear and (and after the portal, the Doom Lord) you can see Fradz on the hill.

yeah im finding the same issue in chapter 4 if having a distinct lack of inventory space. if you let us complete that set it would help out alot.

and aero, you seemed to have missed my last comment that gave my report on chapter one. i did find a few bugs.

hmm, just an idea for a temporary fix with the whole frads thing. could you not add a command like -fixfrads that basically remakes frads and lets you repick his skills? let him keep his level and items sinse from what was said above those seem to save properly.

Well im currently playing the campaign from start to end in the lastest version and i've found 1 MAJOR bug in chapter 5 and 6.

When in chapter 5 you gain control of Fradz, he lost ALL his skills and you don't have any skill point to relearn them, except the hard way. he was lvl 10 at that moment.

In chapter 6, when you gain control of Galeoth, at lvl 25, he lost all his skills and same as Fradz, you have no skill point to relearn them. you have to fight for lvl to regain skill 1 by 1.

This is critical for it make galeoth very weak now, While fradz regained some skill from lvl 10 to 25 ( chapter 5-6 ) and is now capable of fighting. however Galeoth is a piece of crap right now.

I really love this campaign :)

Yes, like I said earlier, new version will come tomorrow and those problems are fixed. Also it will include 5 new spells for Galeoth.

I just created those spells today, and I have to so I'm suprised how I made so great spells! They are awesome! (At least the ultimate and that ice ball! Oh yea babe!)

OK, I haven't got time right now to look at the spells in the editor, but I've tested the map and they work fine, with 2 exceptions:
1. First, there's a thing I don't like about the hammer and the frost fang: if the target moves during the animation, it takes no damage. I don't think that would be good for the campaign.
2. Frost Fang doesn't stun, in the description from the translation request it said it does.
Now the descriptions I thought about, if you choose to take into consideration what I said above:
-Frost Fang: Galeoth summons a fang-shaped block of ice that falls on an enemy unit. The force of the impact causes damage to the target and stuns it for X seconds.
-Glacial Ball: Galeoth uses his knowledge of ice magic to shape a block of ice in the form of a ball and sends it forward, damaging all enemy units in it's path.
-Magic Hammer: A hammer appears over an enemy unit, hitting it with great force and dealing damage. The hammer's enchantments also cause the target to lose mana equal to half of the damage from the hammer.
-Glacial Armor: From the coldest corners of Oelivert (I think that's the name of the world), Galeoth calls upon the ice-cold winds to protect a friendly unit. The target receives bonus armor and melee enemy units that attack it will be slowed. Also, every time an enemy unit attacks the unit, the Glacial Armor responds by sending an ice bolt to the attacker.

I hope this is good enough. I tried to make the descriptions sound good :)

Okay, I've tried it already and I can say that this is Well, I never liked the choice of music you made >.<

i guess to some the music may be an aquired taste. hes using music from various existing rpgs like legend of dragoon and final fantasy and many others. sinse ive played most of them i happen to love the music and find it slightly reminicent. i guess ive linked the games theyve come from to them and so the feel i got from there original games transfers over and enhances the experience in this. understand?

Pathing fixed and there was 8th dig place in that village where was epic boss. You can only take dig it if you kill whole clan.

Big Spell Bug!

Hello! Missed me? My connection to internet was away for a week... But now I'm back with some bugs to tell you:

1. I started chapter 5 and when I got Fradz again in my control all the spells he learned in chapter 2 was lost! Strange...

2. When I started chapter 7 Fradz's and Galeoth's spells they were learned were AGAIN away!

Is there a big bug in this new spell select system? :ugly:

Okay.

By the way Aeroblyctos, in mystery of Friza what I do next after the second chapter's quest Arcane Observatory (or whatever)? There's just quest that says what should I do next... I've tried this and that but without success! (or was it succes?) Plz still that this doesn't belong here you still answer the most on this thread :s
