Herp derp, Heinvers. If you think female Wc3 models are less derpy, than you didn't yet see Sorceress' triangular cleavage that I fainted upon trying to get it right lol.

Ancient of War also makes a fine model choice for Thorned Hulk, while most trolls can go for Fallens from D2.

What are you gonna use for Mephisto? Wow, I would def go for him if there was a fitting model :p (well of course, now that you've taken him I won't but I'm still curious to know what would fit).

I was also thinking the Jungler could fit for a wendigoo btw (he has more fitting attack animations and spikier hands (like the wendigoo). Just gotta remove the horns).

Guys, the characters you're doing must resemble original artworks as much as possible. You could do an amazon on a tiger, but she herself not having a tiger in any Diablo game would heavily impact on your score.

Some minor things that simply cannot be "fixed", such as doing Bow Amazon on any one of archers where half of them have cape which original Amazon doesn't, and none have fitting head/hair shape for her original appearance - that is tolerable, to a point. But I'm afraid adding a full tiger really wouldn't fit there. This doesn't mean that you must follow every little bit to the detail - you are free to add as much details as possible, as long as it looks and "feels" like the original Diablo char, it passes.

For Mephisto, Lich, Revenant and Sorceress (Yes, due to alphable legs and huge crown allowing horns) could work wonderfully.

It is a plus considering the fact that one might use the unit for a spammable creature you'll encounter in teamed armies, while other person could use it as the boss. So all in one, team color is a plus for sure. One can easily disable TC on a model via object editor, but it cannot add it easily.

Bosses don't really need team color though. They even look better without. So.. is it a plus really? I'd say it's a con but alright.

TC can be included or ignored completely.
For example, Dionesiist, shiik, 67chrome, chr2 made some excellent use of it. Gradient, shading and whatnot included with it to integrate it nicely into the overall skin.

It's really your call what you make with it.

Because he has a spike bone coming out of his head.
That can be easily fixed by working your way around the wrap. For example you could make a spiky helmet out of that part using the horn while still looking totally different than the ogre ;)

Just a word of advice, the skin you're doing doesn't have to look 100% like the character you're referencing it to.
It's enough to have some resemblance to it. Of course, there's a long way between resemblance and totally off-beat.

@Just_Spectating, cool wip btw.

WIP #3 - Monky monk monk
Here's another WIP. The face is a bit weird, because I removed the tusks and his mouth is a little bit not normal-looking (blademaster's mouth wrap is bad, but the texture itself is perfect for it D:). The weapon is not final, I just made that and it looks not good, lol. The pants is teamcolored and unfortunately I cannot remove the flag it has teamcolor too. Sadly, I don't like those bandages on his arm and foot, still finding ideas tho. Any suggestions guys? Also I do not want to remove the weapon :D, I have seen some images that monk bear sword and even a shield. lol
