^Yup, I was indeed going for a paladin-like walk cycle.

I don't think a walk cycle necessarily needs to be epic or glorious. It's more about what looks good ingame. I originally tried to make it a bit more "intense", with him more bent over with shield raised, and it ended up looking strange because of the sudden transition between his relaxed idle stance and an intense walk cycle. This way looks more natural ingame.

Anyway, still tweaking the walk cycle.

And sorry for always giving you so many contrary opinions lol. :p

Well, everybody's got opinions :p I'm glad to hear them, even though I will inevitably disagree with some of them.

See this one features a more intense walk cycle, because the idle animation is also like that. The transition looks more natural, making it look better ingame.

Thanks mate! 1240 polys and 512x512 texture (as all of my textures). I usually try to keep my models under (or around) 1000 polys, let myself go a little with this one :p

Compressed the texture at 75% in BLP Lab, so it has lost some of its quality. I guess that's the price for lower filesize. I've uploaded an uncompressed version here, that way people can compress it (or don't) to their liking.

Calm down guys. He may have the skills but we ALL know that he doesn't have the time to make a WoD Blackhand. Plus I believe Tauer already stated that he wasn't into the new Blackhand model.

Yeah I brought it up before and he said he doesn't like the concept I believe. But hey maybe he changed his mind <3

I love the models you do based off the main timeline, you do them so well. Although it'd be badass to have some WoD models in there.

Hey guys, sorry for the radio silence lately. Been super busy. I'm currently in Denmark visiting family and as such do not have access to my computer and stuff. I actually wanted to do some work on Zul'jin but of course I forgot to bring the files with me. Not that I've had any time to work on anything anyway.

I'll be in Denmark until the end of August, and will probably be pretty busy during this time as well. So don't expect much progress in the coming weeks.

As for what my next project is, it will probably be Zul'jin. I've had some issues with this model in the past, but it's about time I finish him. Next up I want to do a new Doomhammer. I know, it's a bit lame to make the same guy 3 times, but looking back Doomhammer is probably the model I'm least satisfied with, especially considering that he's my favorite character.
After Doomhammer I will probably make Ner'zhul or possibly Turalyon based on Lothar anim set.

Yrel is a rather meaningless character to me, since I've never played WoD.

I think I've made my stance on WoD Blackhand pretty clear already.

In my oppinion Ner'Zhul should be put on the priority list, his old model is preety basic considering today standards and uses alot of textures and has simple bm anims.

WOAAAH! A new Orgrim Doomhammer!!?? That's terrific man! and OWWW! BTW, It's nice to know that you're planning to make one for Turalyon and Ner'zhul. HMMM... can't wait to see Zul'jin in action! LOL.

One more thing... Do you have any plan on re-creating Cho'gall? Just askin' hehe :ogre_haosis::ogre_hurrhurr::ogre_love:

Saurfang would also be nice, he is a veteran of both first, second and third wars. Just an idea though. I am sure that Doomhammer or Turalyon will be nice as Tauer's previous models.

Hey Tauer? I dunno if this would interest you, but I have the "Warcraft: Behind the Dark Portal" art book and there's concept art in there of Orgrim wearing the Doomplate (albeit without shoulderguards). I was thinking, maybe to avoid all those accusations of "Oh it's just an HD version of Thrall," you might be willing to do a model based on that concept art but also give it your own personal flair? Just an idea. :)
