@sclammerz i made it work, but i've encountered some problems
1. There is no Morph/Morph Alternate Animation
2. The death and dissipate animation is really for a hero, what i would do is use the harpy's death animation but it will not have a decay animation
I don't need a morph, I just want to make it fly anyway.
I don't think there is a problem with the harpy animation, the decay is not needed anyway. Some warcraft 3 flying units don't have it just death animation. Right?

Guys, this workshop does not:
creating models from scratch
This workshop does not create models, they edit current ones with the permission of the corresponding creator.

@sclammerz just wanted to make sure, i'll probably be able to finish it later :)

@windrunner i really don't know how to do that, basically it will involve texturing that will be in HD and alot of wrapping into models that is very limited. I would suggest to visit websites that have rip models

@sunreaver ardenian is right, we don't make models we just edit them. What I can do is edit model that is capable of mounting a rifleman, but warcraft doesn't really have a camel :p

Hello, could I request something, please ? I am not sure whether you do this thing, but could you:
If the abyss fade model has in-built lighting then it should work fine.
Could you add an in-built lighting source to the two models I attached, please ?

it's fairly easy to do, I can easily teach you how.
I already did your request but it really depends on how big/small you want it to be. Test it ingame and see if it is too small or too big

I found a problem with this model, in this case: the "Death" and "Decay Flesh" animation, its supposed to submerge into the ground after this unit died, but its messed up (which means, fly-up instead of submerge into the ground). I did try to change the animation X Y Z like the original Captain but it didnt work out. The Model in the attachment below

@stork i'll try to do it asap

I forgot, both "Death" and "Decay Flesh" Animation are messed up, so not only Decay Flesh but also Death. I would suggest you to change those two animations to the Death and Decay Flesh Animation of the Original Captain from WC3

I would be interested how it is done, as I encountered this kind of issue severeal
times yet but up to now I did not find the solution on the issue how to only take the part of a skin, like Windrunner29 requested it for the sail. I don't want to bother you each time but being able to do it myself. I would be glad if you could do me this favour.

Hey so Kaizer... I haven't seen if you made a new list or something, but back here when you restarted I gathered my sources & put up a Request... Just curious if I 'made it on the list'. : )

you should probably download the model again, i think it has been updated, i have also downloaded that model, what i have is already fixed. But just incase I'll upload it

Means transfer raider animation to archmage and make the archmage a unit.
Unit means with decay bone and no hero glow.

Sure (sort of): I don't know where exactly it is on my computer, but the base model is Cavman's (Green) Croc.

Hello, i'd like to ask if someone could edit the original Illidan and Illidan(evil) models. What i'd like is just to remove everything related to his Metamorphosis ability ("Alternate" animations and the model itself) that are embedded in both models.

I know this may sound weird, but is the simplest way I've found to stop them from using such animations, since I use the default abilities in my map and triggering/JASSing those abilities would be far more difficult.

Well, that is assuming that just removing things and leaving the model untouched is easy for someone experienced. I know nothing about editing so... You tell me :wink:

Exactly what I needed. Worked as I expected, now illidan uses metamorphosis and becomes Illidan(evil) from the expansion. Thanks A LOT! +rep

Only issue was that the unit doesn't have a portrait... Tried using the default one from the .mpq but the portrait was the Alternate one... Still that is a small problem

just wanted to show my w.i.p, what do you think about the armor plates?
Ooh, nice progress! I like that. They seem just a tad 'slanty' (i.e. "pointing straight up"); could perhaps stand to be rotated a little bit down-ish (so it looks more flat-ish). Not a bunch, just a bit.

I am also still unsure whether they should be artificial armor (i.e. trollish bark-plates) or organic armor (i.e. natural chitinous plates)... But that's really just a texture swap, so I don't imagine you need to worry about that yet. (leaning towards the latter).

Do they move alright when he moves (that was a problem one of the previous guy's had; all his model additions wouldn't move right with the animations)?

Rotate it a little bit got it, as of now we have the same problem, i hadn't work on it because i'm was not sure whether you'll like the armor or not

Edit: yep i can replace the armor's texture with natural thingy if it doesn't fit
Yeah, sure, let's go ahead & do that. I'm not sure what kind of armor, but something natural-organic plating. Keep in mind it doesn't have to involve TC; I think using some "artificial/wooden" Trollish armor/barkplates on his thighs/legs will provide enough. Probably.
