"Ok, I need some comedy. System play, Dude where is my mount." I sat back and watched.

 

[Exoplasma]

It was not long till he saw the desert that lied ahead. Luckily he thought, he saw it was vacant from any forces that he thought. Perhaps I was informed wrong he thought and not wasting time, he run toward Salaundar. So focused he was that he didn't pay notice that four vehicles were just to the right of him, with a proximity of 100 metres. He tried to hide behind some nearby rocks, but he knew that they would have already seen him by then.

He was ready to attack if a situation arose.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"Hey What's that?" One of the shaggy humans, Tomas he was called. "Just a wastewalker, noone of our concern, don't mind him." Herthur replied, and the four vehicles raced on.

OOC: Saulandar is a long way yet, the vehicles are around 10 miles east of the city.

EDIT: I gave the wrong direction lol, its east, not west.

He was glad that the vehicle passengers paid no attention to him. But as soon as he was ready to leave and start running again, an idea came up to his mind. If someone didn't want to buy the treasury he had, he would have no food for many days. He thought a very shrewd plan, and instead followed the vehicles discreetly, hiding from rock to rock so as not to be noticed by them.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Hey, eve. So I never learned where you were made."

 

[Gyrosphinx]

The vehicles was fast, but the trace of dust they left was easy to track.

"...UESC Odin, Experimental Data Technology Facility #7, programming terminal 67b..." Eve replied casually, this was something hardcoded into her, and she didn't show much emotion saying it.

"Hey! I see something!" Tomas shouted. "Pull over! IT can be what we are looking for!" Jake and the Truck pulled to a halt, and the boss exited the truck.

 

[SoLmaster]

I stopped and jumped off. "This is it."

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"...Affirmative sir, this thing is still transmitting..." Eve said. In front of them, a huge, rusted, mechanical object laid half buried in the dust. It was worn and a broken transmitter antenna hung in the air from its wires. electrical currents bounced around the wires.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Scan and keep scanning." I pull out my ground and walk towards the site.

 

[Exoplasma]

He peered searchingly at them as he saw them searching for something. If they found it, he would be the first to claim it and get it for him.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"HAH! This thing is gonna make us rich boys! Get yer tools!" The Ghauron Boss shouted, and walked towards the site.

 

[Exoplasma]

Puny scavengers, like I would let you get it he smirked in the thought of digging it for him. He stared the group of scavengers, looking with a fixed look every of their actions.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

You see Four vehicles, one with the driver still in it, Two Ghauron and four men, all armed.

 

[SoLmaster]

I enter the rust bucket.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

You see no opening to enter in. An awful lot of wires run along the surface of the seemingly spherical object.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Eve what is that?"

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"...Sorry sir, I don't know. Its signal frequence seems unfamiliar to any data files I've got acces to, it doesn't resemble anything I've ever encountered before!..."

 

[SoLmaster]

"Like to take a peak in it?" I pull out a cable from my suit.

 

[Fussiler1]

''Hm.. fair enough, I'll join.'' he answered, chuckling.
Where we going?'' he asked.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"...Sir, I've detected something that might be an entrance! It is buried 2 feet down into the sand right in front of us!..." Eve said, obviously excited. "Lets get to digging boys!" The Ghauron Boss shouted, and Herthur, Tomas and Mike started digging, while Jake stood guard.

"We're going far away from home. We picked up an alien signal a day ago, and we fear it might be a new OTE weapon. Thats what we're going to find out." The Veteran replied. "Hank Stanley, by the way." He said and reached out his arm.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Eve, I am going to let you in the mainframe of this thing." I look for some input places.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"...no open inputs sir, try to hotwire the transmitter wires..." Eve said, excited to get plugged in.

OOC: gah, i cant follow this atm. too fast. sorry guys.

 

[SoLmaster]

I did that and plugged Eve into the site's computer. "Any info?"

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"....Seems like this shit got some really powerful firewalls. Trying to get through..." Eve replied, her voice hungry for adventure.

 

[Phoonix]

Eric looked around from his car "hmmm... i don't trust this place." he opens the roof of his Jeep takes his Rail-gun and mounts it on top, standing guard.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Oh, I love that tone." We played this game often.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"Hey, boss! We've found the entrance! It seems to be jammed though!" Tomas shouted from a large hole in front of the object. "Can you get us through that one?" The boss proceeded to ask Khad.

 

[Phoonix]

"just cut it open!" eric yelled.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Wait a few, eve is breaking thought fire walls. I do mean some powerful ones too. We do not know about defenses yet."

 

[Gyrosphinx]

Mike nodded approvingly to Eric and fired up his Plasma Cutter. "Lets melt some metal!" He started cutting in the door.

"...Wait what are you doing! You don't know what defence mechanism this thing has got yet!..." Eve yelled through the armor speakers.

 

[Phoonix]

"i don't think that if we cut open the entrance it's gonna disturb that."

 

[SoLmaster]

"Eve done yet?"

 

[Gyrosphinx]

"I'm through!" Mike yelled, and Herthur proceeded to bend open the door. Just as he did that, a large, mechanical arm dug out from the sand. It looked around then focused on Eric, laser beams building up around a large coil on its front.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Eve get that thing down. Told you."

 

[Phoonix]

eric aimed his rail-gun and started firing.

 

[Fussiler1]

''Nice to meet you.'' he said, shaking his hand.
''When will we be going?''

 

[Gyrosphinx]

EVE: "...almost through the last firewall... There! Proceeding to shut off defence systems..."

Eric: The Mechanical tentacle dodged the first shot.

Marine: "As soon as possible! I've got two other marines waiting at the armory with a Hover-Jeep." The Marine said, then motioned for them to follow.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Now guide us though to the control room." I start to walk in.

 

[Gyrosphinx]

OOC: You ain't paing attention to the mechanical defence mechanism!

EVE: "...Shit, gotta hack the security code! This might take some time, and I think another arm is moving through the sand too!..."

 

[SoLmaster]

OOC: He does not care about that. If he can enter to the control room, well he has power.

IC: "I will try to get to the control room."

 

[Gyrosphinx]

OOC: Seriously, thats no logic at all! You don't know anything about this thing, and two defencive mechanisms are already active!

EVE: "..Ain't getting through this thing!..." Her voice now seemed very stressed.

 

[SoLmaster]

OOC: "Control" room meaning there must be a room that controls the defense mechanism unless it's fully automatic then there must be an off switch.

 

[Phoonix]

eric fired at the arm again now two shots.[FONT=&quot][/FONT]

 

[Fussiler1]

Mithran chuckled and followed him, jumping aboard.

 

[SoLmaster]

"Try a back door."

 

[Gyrosphinx]

OOC: There is probably a control room, but you have no idea of how this thing work, how large it is, where the control room is and such stuff! And for backdoors, you've found one door, wich you've already revealed, you don't know anything else.

Eric: The first shot hits and disables a joint in the arm, the second shot misses as the arm does an akward movement.

Mithran: You follow the marine to the armory, all gear at the ready then mounts the jeep and starts it up, silenced engines engaged.

Jake: Jake fires his PCR in a three round burst at the arm. All three bullets hit one of the coil's arms, cancelling the load-up for a second.

Eric sighed drew his monofilament sword and tried to cut the arm off.

 

[SoLmaster]

OOC: Well there is a thing called figuring stuff out.

I shoot at one of the arms.
