The Sect of the Holy Mother III: The House of Dawn

The third part of the popular cinematic. Once again I hope you like it and enjoy it.

Note: I started this map about 7 months ago and then I stoped at around 70% and finished it this week. Problem is I couldn't find all the people I took some resources from, so if you didn't get credits even though I used your model in game notify me and I will make immediate updates.

Captain Griffen: Nice work; good to see each new one better than the last. English still needs work, and maybe some more terrain height variation, but more polished than the previous ones. You should probably fix the Z-fighting going on at the bit...

You should probably fix the Z-fighting going on at the bit with the gallows - just move them slighly on the Z (changing the Z-size by 0.01 or something should be enough) so they aren't on exactly the same Z level.

    I know that my english is not a 100%, but that is mostly because I come from a country where english is used little.

    Anyway, I hope you all enjoy this and expect the fourth parth soon(By the end of April most likely).

    Again a review of your cinematic:

    Story [+] - Story was again great!

    Sounds [+] - Great as always, the most I liked the dangerous bridge sound. :thumbs_up:

    Custom models and stuff [+] - Again custom models, and this time more, great job, keep up the great work. :cool: I like the most that God model.

    Enviroment [+] - Nice again, great job. :spell_breaker:

    Terrain/Trees [+/-] - Terrain good this time, but no custom trees. (Neutral because of that.)

    Voice acting [+/-] - No voice acting. No negative only because there is no voice acting, but if you COULD make I would be happy to make this positive (green).

    Overall 5/5 HIGHLY RECOMMEND Comments: Can you make voice acting rly plz? I know it's hard and long job, but if you have alot time plz doo eet! :wink: (doo eet same as do it)

    I like this cinematic more than Sect of the Holy Mother I & II. Eaven put together.

    The canyon was not what i expected from haveing watched the rest of the cinematic and it realy came as a shock and a eyesore compared to the rest of the maps terraining.

    The funniest misspell you made was "Fairy Tail". And this map shows eaven more how much you improved between maps.

    1.....the initial place had a problem with the ground. the place where the warden and the leader were standing was wood made. but the base on which they were standing was looking odd at many scenes mostly the scenes from above it.
    2.....in the scene when nikola comes down the net, in which the leader was, was visible. it looked odd.
    3.....in the scenes where the soldiers are being given orders 2 of them were out of the lines.
    4.....typing mistakes in this cinematic too. I am starting to feel that the earlier mistakes were also not typing mistakes they were also spelling problems because you are repeating the same mistakes--
    were instead of where
    comming instead of coming
    dont instead of don't
    wont instead of won't
    and others too.
    5.....the scenes of their sleeping surely should be improved. if you can take out the sounds associated with the death animation which you have used for making them sleep.
    6.....how does Nikola know this Lector person? He did not appear before in the series if i am correct.
    7.....before Lector walks near the leader of his cult he appears to walk through a rock.
    8.....when karolina blasts the gate of the cult's entry then i can't see her doing that.
    9.....when they jump down they appear to be walking instead of jumping.
    10.....Narru says something about taking the left cave. what left cave? I saw none left or right cave before reaching the Narru.
    11.....the music placed at crossing the bridge was nice. the music had some problems while playing like when Nikola rescued Karolina then the music after that seemed a little messed up.

    The storyline is progressing quite nicely. The scenes are also starting to better than the previous 2 cinematic of the series. spelling mistakes still persist.

    I agree about the spelling and grammar mistakes, my English was pretty back at the time. Lector is the guy that greets them when they arrive at Silverpike Plateau. He just put on his cultist robe when it was night.

    When Karolina blasts the gate it was meant to go dark.

    Yes, he mentions the left cave, the left cave they used to enter that shrine while they were submerged. When Nikola and Karolina wake up from almost drowning they said that they came across a fork in the road while under water and that they took the left route.

    This one was much better than the first, and second. I mean MUCH better. The few only things I have to complain about are:
    A: The first half was literally soundless. I couldn't tell if I hit mute or something.
    B: The characters still sometimes made REALLY obvious statements.
    C: Some of the models scenes were meh, like the one where he is attacked by zombies. He was just getting pounded on the whole time, with no special moves.

    I give this a 4/5. I really liked this one. At this rate of improvement, I expect the next one to be quite great.

    ALSO, I don't know why, but I can't run the maps from wc3, for they don't show in the map list. Why is this? It worked for 1, but not 2 or 3. Is it because of map version? I can still run them from the WE fine, but I some noobs might not appreciate so.

    It's actually because of the map names. For some strange reason some PCs don't register maps in warcraft with long names. If you change the name of your maps to something like SOTHM 2, SOTHM 3 and so on it'll show up in the map list. I think that as of version 1.22 this issue occurred.

    I am also quite glad to hear that you started enjoying yourself :))

    Yeah, actaully, the reason I think I was suffering from that problem, but in an indirect way. You see, I store all my maps in subfolders, and this one was like 5 folders down.
