Ekrion nods towards Illios "you're right... we should. We're probably lucky if not every single creature in this damn forest smells this." He then turns around peering into the forest. "we should probably start looking for that wolf spirit." he sais while walking away from the campfire, into the forest.

Ekrion kneels and lets his hand slide over the tracks. "Guys, i found something!" he yells at the group. He stands back up and starts following the tracks.

DM: Melee Attack (DifLevel 3 (Swift Striker Applied) x2): Roll (1d6 +4 from Strength and -3 from Battlesong (Enemy)): 5 (6) and 3 (4).

Agron strikes once more, the first of the attackers now seriously wounded.
Almost all of it's bandages were ripped open, revealing dead skin.
DM: Unknown Attacker (1) took 10 damage, and has 19 HP left.

@Illios
DM: Melee Attack (DifLevel 3): Roll (1d6 +2 from Strength, +5 from Battle Veteran and -3 from Battlesong (Enemy)): 6 (9.

@Ekiron
DM: Rune Activation (DifLevel 2): Roll (1d6 +1): 6 (7).

The sound of it cuts through the air, and it hits the attackers straight on.
DM: Will Check (DifLevel 3 x5): Roll (1d6 +3 from Battlesong): 2 (5 (Failure!)), 4 (7 (Failure!)), 1 (4 (Critical Failure!)), 4 (7 (Failure!)) and 3 (6 (Failure!)).

The last three remaining attackers, shocked by this incredible assault, disappeared almost as fast as they appeared.

@Meyla
DM: Attack Aborted: Missing Target.

IC:
The tracks didnt go far into the forest.
Ekiron and Illios almost immediately found themselves in a even more totem-filled clearing where the footprints stopped.

Illios, due to his knowledge of the wilds, spotted another set of tracks moving the from the group's previous location to this clearing just like the fleeing creatures.
These footprints were older, though, and resembled those of a wolf.

Ignoring the box Meyla scowled.
"Do spirit wolves even leave tracks? I'm not so sure about this, we've not been told everything. They held something back" and don't they always.
Something pulled at her, a strong attraction, it didn't want her to leave, not just yet.
She whirled about without another word and trotted over to the fallen figures and proceeded to kneel and rummage through the remains, peeling bandages from decaying flesh. As she did so the attraction grew ever stronger. "What in all of the planes are you?" she muttered to herself as she carried out the unpleasantries.

As Meyla removed the bandages from the fallen foes she found that they were, as Illios had exclaimed, lepers.
Something inside her mind, buried along with the memories of her mountain-tribe home, started moving.
She remembered something about these creatures... Leper Warriors... Bandaged Warriors...

The same thing inside her head assured her that she needn't worry about getting infected, and urged her to find out more.

Below the bandages Meyla found their bodies to be heavily tatood.
The ink used was fairly new, and in a few cases Meyla got in on her hands.

After searching their bodies for a while, though, her efforts bore some kind of fruit.
She found a small makeshift bag made from the same black bandages as the two of them wore, containing a small wooden statue of a snake.
The snake's tail was shaped as if it had been holding something, which was now gone.

Back in the clearing the rest of the group got an odd feeling of being watched.
This time, though, the feeling was much stronger than what they had felt before being attacked.

Ekrion looked around and drew his sword "What is this feeling..." he walks towards the center of the clearing, looking around to see if he can spot anything.

She gazed at the snake oddly, placing it upon the craggy earth and resuming her search.
As she placed her hands on dead flesh an exhilaration ran through her - although the blood flow had ceased, life persisted, it's energy was there for the taking, should she want it.
No... The Snake - Meyla removed her hands and examined the statue.

Leo sends out psychic waves through the ground, not really finding anything. But...
As his mind moves through the ground, it 'hits' something. The ground starts shaking in the small clearing. From the sounds the group can make out that something is moving towards the surface.

@Agron
DM: Melee Attack (Unarmed, DifLevel 3): Roll (1d6 +4 from Strength (Brutal Fighting Applied) and +5 from Steel Fists): 5 (14). Success!

Agron's right fist slams into the head of one of the attackers, slamming it to the ground with great force.
Once down, the before-agile warrior appears to be just as helpless as a turtle on it's back, and shuffles around in a weird attempt to get up again.
DM: Unknown Attacker (1) took 14 damage and has 86 HP left.

@Leo
DM NOTE: I'm assuming you're making that fist with your psychic abilities, but please be more specefic next time.
DM: Channelling (Duration Roll): Roll (1d6): 6.
Rolling Extra Dice: 3 (9). Psychic Prison lasts for 9 Actions!
Psychic Channelling has lasted it's duration and now needs to be re-activated.

Leo summons up his psychic powers and encases one of the attackers in a hand of psychic energy.
DM: Unknown Attacker (2) imprisoned for 9 actions.

The last attacker, seeing it's two companions locked in battle, moves even faster towards Ekiron.
It jumps, sword drawn, and strikes down towards the defenceless crycon...
DM: Melee Attack (DifLevel 2): Roll (1d6 +10 from Desperation Strike): 1 (11). Failure!
...but flies right past him and ungracefully lands in a tree.
Without hesitation, the bandaged warrior turns around and charges for Ekiron again.

Marais turns instantly, arrow withdrawn, and lets the arrow loose. He then moves, rushing to the aid of Ekrion.

@Marais
DM: Ranged Attack (Diflevel 2): Roll (1d6 +5 from Dexterity): 4 (9). Success!

Marais sends an arrow flying towards the attacker that recently landed in a tree, the arrow hitting it's chest right above the heart.
The attacker ignores it and runs on, towards Ekiron.
DM: Unknown Attacker (3) took 9 damage and has 91 HP left.

@Leo
DM: Spell Check (DifLevel 3): Roll (1d6 +3 from Will): 1 (4). Critical Failure!

Leo prepares to execute the attacker, but his spell backfires and the two blades shoot off into nearby trees, where they become quite stuck.

@Agron
DM: Melee Attack (DifLevel 3 (+1 from Swift Striker and -1 from Helpless Target)): Roll (1d6 +4 from Strength (Brutal Fighting Applied) and +4 from Helpless Target): 3 (11 (Near Success)) and 5 (13 (Success)).

Agron, in his great haste, only hits with one of his blows.
But even this is enough, he cuts the downed opponent's head straight off.
DM: Unknown Attacker (1) died (Execution).
