"Greetings Zuuhl, we are looking for a Guide, Can you help us what that?" Ekrion asked

OOC: sorry guys, I'm going on vacation for 2 weeks (easter vacation) and during that time i won't be able to post. You are however allowed to use my character for me, and if Dargonson wants it perhaps he can use him as an NPC until I return?

Suddenly the darkness jumped out and concealed Zuuhl.
"The Gardener? Interesting. May i bid you inside?"
Zuuhl's voice, though slightly... diffirent, said.
Light appeared amidst the shadows and where Zuuhl had been just before was now a brightly lit corridor, which somehow was still amidst the darkness.

Sameal slightly worried of this mysterious man started to walk inside and told him politely and kindly "Let us go then Zuuhls." but slightly whispering under his breath "We are going into the maw of the abyss and I can only hope we all come back."

Meyla fell back to bring up the rear of the party. She felt uneasy, like they were under constant observation, as if this Zuuhl and his hidden brethen would turn upon them at any moment. She tightened the grip on her sword's hilt.
Don't let your guard down guys.
"Stay focussed, stay sharp, stay strong" she murmured.

Illios silently listened to the conversation. He had every right to be curious, but meh. They couldn't really tell, could they? Then he unsheated his sword, thinking something was approaching.. he looked into the darkness, trying to see anything.

OOC: Darkvision roll?

A diabolical laughter was heard through the corridor.
Suddenly the shadows thickened around Meyla, and just as suddenly they became normal.
Where she had been a moment ago, was nothing.
As this happened, the group also realised that the darkness had thickened behind them. There was no way out.
Even Illios' eyes had no chance of looking through the darkness. He did though get a weird feeling that this was not because of the lighting...

DM NOTE: I'm assuming everyone is inside now.
Grey, i'l continue the RP to you Over PM.

OOC: Zuuhl is not visible at the moment. He disappeared when the darkness started thickening and the lit path amidst it was unveiled.
His voice does though constantly roam through the corridor, and has spoken with the adventurers several times.

IC:
"Who are YOU?"
Zuuhl's voice replied in a playful tone.

"As you wish."
Sudddenly the whole group was surrounded by a bright light. For a second it blinded their eyes, but then it dissipated.
The group found themselves in a great circular room with no apparent doors or exits.
In it's midst stood a hooded man in white robes.

Marais was tired of this idle to-and-fro. He interjected, gazing directly at the hooded man.

"Our quarry is the Book of the Bladebringer. To obtain it, we require the Gardener. Now either you tell us how to find it or we will silence your endless questioning with blades."

"Indeed..."
The man, although his face was not visible, looked like he pondered something for a second.
"Good. Very good."
Suddenly, they found themselves in a grand hall made out of black stone.
Infront of them stood Zuuhl, wearing a black robe, and nearby Meyla sat in a comfortable-looking armchair with a look on her face clearly expressing that she was not very comfortable with the situation.
Zuuhl smiled.
"Three of you have passed one or more of our tests.
You will be granted access to our halls. Although, everyone except Meyla here and the ones named Illios and Marais will have to drink from the well of soothing before i can let you beyond this hall."
As he spoke, it things appeared in the hall that hadnt been there before. Or atleast, not visible.
Plants were growing on the walls, and there were several trees grown into the hall's many pillars.
Water flowed through small aquaducts built into the floor, and birdsong filled the air.
Although they were inside the whole thing appeared quite natural, and it had a soothing effect on the minds of the adventurers.

Sameal questioned a few things the man said "What is the purpose of drinking from this well? And you said "Our" who else is here besides you?"

Marais glared at the man, ignoring the change of ambience. He glanced over to Meyla, then to Illios. He sighed. Fighting would not get him anywhere.

For a second Agron's eyes glowed bright purple.
Zuuhl's eyes did the same.
Agron felt soothed inside, and the feeling of being at home that the group had felt upon entering the weird corridor returned with great strength.

DM: +2 Cunning for Agron. 1/4 Progress Points towards unlocking an unknown strength feat.

IC: Ekrion sighed "you creep in the dark and hide in the shadows, a guide you may be but honorable... i doubt it." he glared at zuuhl, he didn't like this, he didn't like it at all, but for the sake of the group... "Very well Zuuhl, i will drink the water." he said in a voice that said 'I don't like you or anything that has to do whit you'. he walked towards the water and drank some of it.
