Ekrion looked at Lucien and smiled. "all that matters." he said with a nod. He then walked over to Illios and put a hand on his shoulder. "If this has anything to do with the shrouding of Urnung... and if you have even the slightest bit of honor... you will tell us right here an now" he whispered in his ear.

Ekrions sighed and his eyes darkened. "the Ashlord... The Shroud..." he repeated. "Idiot... i would not have asked if i had not realized..." he took a step back and Drew his sword pointing it at Illios. "you will fight me in a fair duel." he said loudly so that everyone in the near vicinity could hear. "If I win you will tell us everything."

Meyla left the hut, face down and frowning, gaze fixed upon the mysterious orbs within the open satchel. As she approached the group she looked up and froze. "..Ekrion, Ekrion what in the blazes do you think you're doing? Put that away!" her voice was soft and distant, her mind still on the orbs and bracelet, yet an edge of disappointment clung to her words as they washed over the party. "To be honest, I would expect this kind of behaviour from the one your pointing your blade at, not you". Cursing under her breath she shook her head and emptied the contents of the satchel onto the beaten path for all to see. "I found these.. and this" she added, throwing the bracelet down after them.

Ekrion looked at Illios in disgust. "You refuse an open challenge?" he lowered his sword and spat in front of Illios's feet. "you have not the slightest bit of honor in your veins, have you?" he said. His voice was full of disgust and disappointment.
He shook his head and turned to Meyla. He would not waste any more time on the Sky Elf, it was a waste of time.
"what are those colored orbs, Meyla?" he said curiously.

He merely shook his head and laughed at Ekrion's anger. He continued laughing, louder and louder until he finally got tears in his eyes.
Illios tried to stop laughing, but it was to no avail. When he tried to press his lips together he had to smile -- and the smile would erupt into laughter. Oh, silly Ekrion, he thought.
When he finally stopped laughing he joined him and looked at the orbs, still with a big smile on his face.

OOC: This should be fun.

IC: Ekrion tried to Ignore Illios's laughter, but he could not. he would not let anybody tarnish or laugh at his honor and Pride.
his hand tightened around his swords handle... Illios would regret this.
"I'm sorry... Meyla." he eventually said. and as Illios joined him he swung at him with his sword, Aiming for the chest.

@Ekrion
DM: Melee Attack (DifLevel 3): Roll (1d6 +7 from Strength): 5 (12). Success!

Ekrion dashed forward, the green markings on his body and sword bursting into green flames as he moved.
Illios jumped to the side in an attempt to dodge the attack...
DM: Dodge (DifLevel 3): Roll (1d6 +6 from Cunning (Shroud of Lies) and +2 from Dexterity): 3 (11). Rolling Second Chance (Shroud of Lies): 5 (13). Success!
...and miraculously managed to do so. Black smoke emanated from his mysterious cloak as he slipped away from Ekrion's blade.

Ekrion emediately turned around ran towards Illios, taking advantage of The Elfs bad footing to try and stab him in the side.

Illios himself was surprised by what just had happened and quickly drew his sword, still with a big smile on his face. He saw Agron's attempt to stop Ekrion and chuckled, meanwhile trying to regain his balance.
If Ekrion would manage to avoid Agron, Illios would try to evade his attack and then counter-attack.

Ekrion strikes out at Illios, Illios beats him at it and strikes back with a counterstrike, Ekrion retaliates... For a moment, everything becomes blurry.
All those that rushed to stop the conflict are thrown away by violent forcewaves emanating from the two combatants' glowing blades.
Black smoke mixes with teal and green flames, blades soar through the air...
DM: Endurance Duel.
Ekrion: 15 Strength (3 Dice) and 6 Endurance (1 Dice) -1 Dice from Active Enemy Counterstrike TOTAL: 3 Dice: 1. 6. 4. (11)
Illios: 12 Cunning (2 Dice) and 6 Endurance (1 Dice) TOTAL: 3 Dice: 5. 1. 1. (7)

...until, finally, Ekrion manages to perform a grand overhead sweep, Forcing Illios to use both his hands to keep Ekrion's sword at bay, rendering both of them unable to do anything but pressing on without giving the opponent the upper hand.

Illios tries to hold it but then an idea springs to his mind. He quickly evaluates it while holding off Ekrion, but then decides it's better then to stand in the current position. Ekrion was much stronger then him -- this was a better solution. He would jump back, hoping that Ekrion's sword would fall to the ground, seeing the amount of strength he would be putting into it. Then, Illios would attack again when his sword would fall to the ground.

OOC: Counter-attack feat if it works.

Meyla fumed. Her initial disappointment now breeding anger. After all we've been through, after all we've done, all we've achieved: they're going to throw it all away over such a petty exchange. Her whole body tensed as she drew on the deep dark power within her. If they wouldn't put an end to this, she would.

OOC: No particular action, just building up power.

OOC: You guys are triggering too many plot elements. I'm beginning to worry whether you'l do any rolls at all in this scene. :p

IC:
Before anyone could do anything, a great black shadow rose behind Meyla.
It roared, two enormous arms growing out from it's sides. From it's eyes stood green flame, and the same green fire shot out to encircle the group.
With it's arms it reached down and grabbed Ekrion and Illios, holding them up in front of it's head. Then it roared.

Stop Fighting You MORONS!
It was Sunrah's voice.
After roaring, the shadow giant let go of Illios and Ekrion, causing them both to collide bluntly with the ground after a 3-meter fall.
The giant dissipated just as fast as it had come.
Sunrah, however, was not finished talking.
Are you idiots INSANE?! I could... i could... RAAAAAAAR!
Although no further shadowy manefistations appeared, the chained Warp-Born's rage could be felt by all in room.
"Oh, you have your own Mourg too? Brilliant."
Lucien commented bitterly.

Illios muttered silently a few curses and insulting words before slowly rising from the ground again. He seemed a bit disorientated but managed to keep his balance. Then, he looked at Lucien, shrugging, before glaring at Ekrion. He grumbled something very soft, words unspoken by him ever before:
''Not too bad.''

Ekrion grunted as he fell to the ground. He pushed himself up and sat down on his knees, whiping the dirt from his face. Finally he rose to his feet and sheathed his sword, Ignoring Illios Completely. The Elf was a Mystery to him... laughing at his honor moments before and praising him now... he shook his head. and looked at Lucien.
"Our own Mourg? What is that supposed to mean?" he asked.

Marais stepped in, smirking to himself. "He means we have our own little shepherd to keep his flock from going astray." He rested gazed at Meyla disapprovingly. "Well, she's pissed."

Lucient sent a worried glare towards Meyla, then replied to the group's questions.
"Your friend is quite right. Mourg, although the destruction he later spewed on our world, has saved both Rafia and Urnung from a collission between two of The Blackwind Lords' most powerful warriors.
I suppose you're all familiar with The Blackwind Lords?
"

DM Note: They're legendary to the people of Rafia, and generally world famous (part of why working for Taiion is prestigious), so yes, you know of them.
If you arent sure what i'm talking about (IRL) then The Blackwind Lords are the player characters from the first Rafia RP.

''Uh.. Taiion, Niahcluc.. Some name that begins with an E, or a Z.. That's all I honestly remember.'' he said, a deep frown on his face as he tries to remember them all, before continuing.
''I forgot there was a fight between Taiion and Niahcluc. Thanks for the reminder.''

"It isnt commonly known, so i cant blame you.
Not hard to find out if you're interested in their history, though.
"
Lucien said.
"What is less commonly known, though, is that what caused the end of the fight was the death of one of the group's less known members. Kloth, the silver wolf.
It's a long story, really, but if you want details i can provide them when we're someplace warm.
"
Lucien said, shrugging.
"You never did get around to looting the place? Did you?"

Marais sighed, unhappy with the current topic. "The Blackwind Lords, pfft. More destruction than they're worth in my eyes," he commented, hoisting his bow over his shoulder.

Lucien let out a small chuckle.
"Some say that. I'd say we did a pretty good job while we were still together."
He turned to the huts.
"Well, if you're not interested in the two last huts which i have noted you havent searched yet and the giant glowing sphere, i'l search the area for anything not supposed to be here."
Lucien sat down and folded his legs, his wings spreading out wide and his eyes beginning to radiate white light.
"This'l take a little time. When i'm finished i say we get out of this ruin, unless you want to walk all the way back and leave through the front door."

"A 'connection' of sorts to... somewhere else.
I thought you had brought it here, as it was active when i first came here. Something shut it down, though.
In simple terms it's a gateway conduit. When charged with magic it can connect to portals and gateways around the world.
"
Lucien said, nodding at the sphere.
"This one is with some serious locks on though. In order to connect to a portal using this device you must have been in physical contact with that portal first."

Lucien smiled.
"Alright then."
He spread his arms out wide, and a brilliant light enveloped the group.
A moment later it faded, and they found themselves standing in the Spiritguide headquarters.
"Do whatever you need to do and come see the Guidelord when you're ready."
Lucien said, and took off into the sky.

Ekrion grunted at the sound of Sunrah's voice. at first he felt anger for earlier. Sunrah shouldn't have stopped him, the Elf deserved it. Then he felt guilt, why was he mad at Sunrah? He after all only helped us by stopping us...
He shook his head. "Do not worry Sunrah, it is good you intervened." he eventually said
For I don't know what I would've done if you hadn't.
He didn't say the last though, he only said it in his mind.He then turned around and started walking for the large building."Let's go see the Guidelord, shall we?"

Ekrion and Illios made their way to the grand hall wherein they knew the guidelord resided.
As they moved closer, they realised that unlike the last time they visited it nobody was doing anything near the hall.
When they arrived with lucien just minutes ago there had been spiritguides attending to all kinds of tasks everwhere, but the closer they got to the hall the fewer of them could be seen.
