Welp Shar is becoming the next David Foster the dream breaker from Asia got talent in AXN channel tv show ;P

And yeah i knew one of this days everyone would beg for it even tho i would like to see custom semi hero like in Human enhance campaign where you can control falric as a Semi hero with 6 items but not actual hero

Wouldnt exactly call that Kasrkin mode, since I managed to beat that mission very easy even on normal without your cheesy tactics. Probably did it on hard too. Besides, aint no fun just stabbin everyone from the stealth.

I think that is one of the most enjoyable things in Arkain. It keeps you occupied for sometimes 4 hours. Not the usual max pop and attack move to the enemy base.

Indeed.
The harder and longer the mission = The more satisfaction and feeling of accomplishment you get from it.
Maybe that's why i never play on hard. :p

Anyway now to the question. I have no idea since Arkain updates aren't given a date of release. What i can tell you is that the creator said he will soon release a sneek peek portraying the newest chapter that is in development.

I think there are some things that we will never put our hands on.I guess Thanok being playable is one of them...Even tho there can still be hope.Once upon a time elites were ment to be AI exlusiv too.
A man still can hope i guess.

@DD Mikasa , I always imagined thanok as combination of MK and BM. Criitcal strike, bash, life steal/stun, avatar. HP around 1200, damage 60-80( level 10) with 12 armor. I always want to see thanok cutting his enemies left and right. Damn, I am still begging for thanok.

I hope when Thanok appears as a unplayable hero to be in either chapter 11, 12 or 14, because that's when we will need him the most.
Also don't worry people just because Thanok will be unplayable in the second book doesn't mean we won't see him playable in a spin-off campaign.

Judging from what you said i think you are doing a massive Arkain update. Maybe the update for the 1st books? Maybe adding the sub-factions? Reworking some chapters from the 2nd book? I guess time will tell.

We have yet to see or know his abilities.
He might be a normal human being for all we know.
He doesn't need to be a hero to have abilities. We have many of those around. He serves in an army and has a rank.

He isn't. Shar confirmed he is the like ambassador of the black dragons that served the Zyainor empire.
Also in the interlude after chapter 8 the mother of the black dragons said they sent one of their own kind to help Gardon on his missions. And while not directly, she was strongly referring to Thanok, who was in the same room. So taking all that into consideration Thanok is a dragon disguised as a human.

Apparently something exciting happened that caused delay of the next chapter. From what Shar said its something very positive for the entirety of Arkain.
