[Roleplay] Flames of War

@Edge: I see, but is the "Edge" on early RP #1 Edge or Ed? Just wondering.
==========
Thus she was bound by the spell. She made a casual attempt to move slightly but were inevitably unable to do so.
At least it prevented her from being further dragged away by the tsunami.
Using this as an opportunity, the illusions tried to unleash more spells on Amber, one of them is the Devastation Plasma Envoy. Another rift of chaotic energies broke open and released dozens of roasting pale green plasmaballs orbiting around hitting any enemies within range. THe plasmaballs can pass through solids a lot of times, so Amber was likely to be seriously hurt as a result.

While the spell had taken her and her self-aware tendrils by surprise, they had time to react to the fiends that came fourth. Though these would hardly die by a single hit so it could likely be a prolonged battle between her defense and them.
The shadowy creatures took some damage from Amber's holy attacks. However, they were not that weak. Those shadowspawns would regenerate pretty quick with the Chaos Envoy spell and with aid from each other. The shadowspawns continue to assault Amber and tear her body away.
==========
The Fighters destroyed squads of Animatronics, but continuous AA bolter fire will soon bring them down.

"Dozens of dollars wasted on just a few squads of Animatronics... sigh" Gayvin mumbled.

Gayvin tried to change his tactics. He deployed some Advanced Artilleries from far away to strategic locations not far away from the wall. The artilleries, with protection from accompanying Teratorns and Stryker IFVs, began unleashing their wrath of fireballs toward the bunches and clusters of animatronics outside.

Gayvin constructed several EMP Cannons behind the wall. After three minutes they would target the frontmost animatronics and disabled them using EM Pulses. Any air units powered by electronics would crash down since they rely on it to fly in the first place.

==========
Using the map, Edge tried to navigate his way to his target's capital. While on the way, he took the souls of dying people, trying to fill the Soul Crucible.

Arriving at a military base guarding the capital (of Pherith), Edge passed sneak his way. "This should be easy if you just decimate this place." said someone in Edge's mind. "Oh no, I'm breaking Reaper's Rule #27 - 'Thy must not provoke.', do you not agree?" said Edge to himself/or not.

"..." without a word, Edge sneak his way, using Reaper's Walk. It made him invisible with a cold feel in his path like a ghost, passing through the walls and entering the capital city. "Target, Azlariah..." he said.

Long before Edge got his way to the outer capital city, the nearby Deployed Sensor Arrays had already spotted Edge. It should be noted that, the middle part of the city doesn't have any Sensor Arrays though, only the outskirts and inner sector of the capital city. This fact was clearly written on as a security notice on the map telling tourists to be mindful of crimes there as well as assassination attempts.

"He looked familiar." a slow voice commented, mostly from an old man. "Identify yourself!" Another young and strong voice yelled.

Two squadrons of Fleenzub Fighters would then fly around Edge like a circle. (Tip: Use EM Pulses and Haste to get away!)

It would be difficult to venture deep within the capital city -- New Malacca, as the inner sector are defended heavily, with regular patrols of elite troops and war machines, the bunkers were garrisoned by Falcon Prism Hovercrafts as well as Tick Tanks while the thick, high walls are made of Alphanites and Mithril.

One thing the map didn't say though, the Flardyrn Headquarters isn't located in the capital city of New Malacca. It is located somewhere else (second city of Pherith Empire, let me recall the name)

@Directive: Since Azlariah is not there, I'll make Edge search the capital, and when he doesn't seem to find her, he will go and find another city.
Oh yeah, the Edge (current) is the Edge of the last RP, he's now a Reaper working for Death.
==============================

Two squadrons of Fleenzub Fighters would then fly around Edge like a circle.

"Great, when did these things notice me" Edge said. "You could perhaps take away the cold path you're making, you idiot" A voice said in Edge's mind. "No need to worry" Edge replied to himself.

He then used a Flash Fire, getting away from the squadrons out of sight. "If this country's capital is heavily defended, then I better need more information" Edge said.
He released a single soul from the Soul Crucible, he made a deal with it, knowing the information:

"I see." Edge said. He freed the soul just as they made their deal.
"Ain't you supposed to collect souls?" A voice said in his mind. "Yes, but in order to get more, sacrifices must be made" He replied. With the information, he continued.

He passed through the walls like a ghost, remaining alert of the Sensor Arrays, he tries to destroy some on his way. While dodging ground and squadron flight patrols. Until he finally reach the Outer-to-Inner Part of the Capital.

Another rift of chaotic energies broke open and released dozens of roasting pale green plasmaballs orbiting around hitting any enemies within range. THe plasmaballs can pass through solids a lot of times, so Amber was likely to be seriously hurt as a result.

Since the tendrils were busy keeping the spawns at bay Amber was unable to use them for her otherwise effortless defense. She opened her mouth once more and let a number of golden birds fly out of it, they equaled the number of bolts that were sent towards her. They flew forward and collided with the bolts mid air, and since they were conjured and not physical that impact would not be avoided.
Sadly the rather weak birds were obliterated in doing so, but it prevented Amber from getting hurt.

"Hmpf." Amber snorted as she sadly had to feed the tendrils a bit of mana to resupply them with energy to keep their shape after taking damage in the battle with the spawns.

I would have gone all out in this fight long ago, but I don't want to when fighting illusions. It's too risky.
That is why I prefer melee fights, they are always shorter. They don't heal or recover and there are no pu*** tactics either, the battle is most likely over in less than 10 posts most of the time.

"Hey, give him one more chance--"

"The same crazy old man! Hey you, stop and identify yourself!" the young voice screamed like hell.
"He... looks... familiar..." the old voice mumbled. "I... am... sure that... I... saw... him... before..."

A squadron of Fleenzub Fighters were being dispatched to track Edge before the anti-stealth effects wear off. As the Pherithians were alarmed, they began to produce and deploy more Sensor Arrays around, making Edge's mission a lot more difficult.

The real Deroc was beginning to feel bored... As time passed, Deroc's illusions in combat began to become more distorted as Deroc lost concentration (due to boredom).

"Now it was getting boring... Illusions were fun but you were so boring that it ruined the fun. Things would be better off had you not provoked us, Linnea." a frustrated voice whined. "I don't understand why would you want Azlariah."

Amber looks at the illusions as they lost more and more substance. She wondered if he was out of mana, she doubted it but it was possible. After all he had caste quite a few spells and maintained the illusions for a while. All whilst remaining stealthed himself.

Regarding his statement she did not reply. There was no point in doing so, the time for talk had long passed.
She did think about another type of challenge though, one that would require much less effort and time but at the same time remained fair.
She honestly considered to leave it all to a coin flip.

After a few seconds she spoke out either way. "I'll propose one last thing. I'll kill myself in exchange for her death. From a political perspective it should be a win for you Deroc. You may have my body afterwards and do whatever you like to dispose of it to make sure I am not resurrected or something or the sort that you might think will happen. If not, then please continue as you were."

Meanwhile, Aedari stood up and stared at Amber from afar. She could not believe that Amber would give up her life for something so silly.
But then again the Angels had different ideals and morals that Aedari did not understand, perhaps she could learn to understand them if she was still alive with her own will.
But now that it was highly restricted, that was impossible.

It's an honest suggestion from her, she got no nasty tactic behind the proposal. To her it's worth dying for for the greater good.

"Old man?! I hear somebody calling me old man! I may be ageless, but I'm still at my Egilian 60's! dammit!" Edge was annoyed.

*sigh* a voice in Edge's mind.

A squadron of Fleenzub Fighters were being dispatched to track Edge before the anti-stealth effects wear off. As the Pherithians were alarmed, they began to produce and deploy more Sensor Arrays around, making Edge's mission a lot more difficult.

"No matter, more souls anyway" Edge said. After the anti-stealth scan, in an instant, Edge used a Flash Fire in one of the Fleenzub Fighters. "Your soul is mine" He said before he stab the soul of the pilot from inside the cockpit, without any sign of injury from the pilot.

He then opens the Soul Crucible, placed the tip of Deidiaccus in its opening, and drop the soul of the pilot. "What happened to your 'Rule 27' for idiot Reapers?" said the voice in his mind. "Reaper Rule #31 - Thy must not be caught by the living" Edge replies and continued "And these guys want to catch us, now does that answer the question."

Edge then let's out the pilot's body by opening the cockpit. He closes afterwards and commandeers the aircraft.

OOC: Just for your information, Fleenzub Fighter is a futuristic-style spacecraft look somewhat like between this and the Epsilon Basilisk in Mental Omega 3.0. It's painted in (usually) white, accompanied by green stripes.

It travels at a freakin' fast speed, and it would usually blend with the skies (especially with white clouds) rendering 'em difficult to be seen (unless in exotic landscapes such as Outland). It can release a barrage of accurate pre-loaded plasmaballs at any target they choose, and they may also engage air targets using missiles. When they ran out of plasmaballs they would need to be refilled, however anti-air missiles won't run out.

OOC: Sorry, I will reply later, I am busy

@Chaosy: Can Deroc resurrect Azlariah afterwards (after Amber is killed)?

After a few seconds she spoke out either way. "I'll propose one last thing. I'll kill myself in exchange for her death. From a political perspective it should be a win for you Deroc. You may have my body afterwards and do whatever you like to dispose of it to make sure I am not resurrected or something or the sort that you might think will happen. If not, then please continue as you were."

"Hmm..."

A period of silence ensued. If Amber would die, there might be a more vengeful leader for the angels. Which is bad for Deroc, and it's a possibility that the new leader might be much more competent or ruthless in his or her way. And the angels under their new leader might collaborate with the soulless elves and launch an invasion against Pherith Empire. And he would lose Azlariah.

The good side is that there may be a period of peace for the Pherithians.

However, if Deroc rejected the offer, then the fight would continue. If he lost the war, not only would he suffer an embarrassment but he would also lose Azlariah.

Two minutes of thinking and considering later, Deroc finally uttered his words: "Look, angel, now you are close to the brink of death. You won't be able to survive my real powers. How about peace instead? You save your mana, I save Azlariah along with my mana and we wouldn't have to continue this... petty drama once and for all."
=====
"Old man?! I hear somebody calling me old man! I may be ageless, but I'm still at my Egilian 60's! dammit!" Edge was annoyed.

"Ah... yes... Egilian... ageless... I knew it! You're Edge! Why wouldn't... you just... identify yourself... during the... beginning?"

"Why are you so concerned about age? Are you a gay pussy? Or are you a woman? Look, a pussy of rotten eggs! Who is so narcissistic! And acts like a woman!" the young voice replied in an insulting tone.

As the pilot had his soul removed, the Fleenzub Fighters would head toward the ground due to neglect. "What is this? You have an alien friend? Huh? This is nothing but an UFO's mischief!"

"No... it's..." the old voice began to change drastically "He's a vengeful ghost!!! He's ghost! No, he's not ghost but a powerful wrath!!! Look, he even wears red clothings!!! He's ghost!!! !!!!!!" the old voice cried in terror.

Edge then let's out the pilot's body by opening the cockpit. He closes afterwards and commandeers the aircraft.

"The alien hijacked one of our spacecrafts!"
"No, it's wrath! Wrath! He possessed the flyship!"

Good reasoning. Nice to see someone else trying to think :)
You're just a bit of what I planned personally, but it's still great to see you thinking of potential risks.
'Amber' is not a name, it's a title of the angel's leader. So even if Amber dies it wont impact their power that greatly as someone else will inherit it.
The owner of the title would change but that's it. Though it requires rituals and stuff so they would be without rules for a while. Which may leave them weak to invasions unless they strike a deal with Sapphire to protect them.

However on the bloodythirsty ruler, you're wrong. Quite the opposite in fact.

Amber patiently waited, she did not try to break free from the spell that bound her and restricted her movement completely. Her tendrils still had to deal with the spawns whom likely didn't stop attacking her, so they kept defending though.
"Is that so. I decline your offer, I'll do what I came here to do and then leave, hopefully we'll never meet again after that. It's funny because when someone tries to convince you not to fight in the middle of a fight, they're usually not completely confident that they will win and look for other solutions. Perhaps I'm no different. Regardless"

"It seems we'be been compromised." A voice said in Edge's mind. "Not only that, they know me, they must be the Gazyans, or if I remember correctly, the Pherithians."

"But nuff said, they want a dogfight with the former greatest Ace of the Sky, so shall their souls rain below like water drops." Edge said.

Taking over the Fleenzub Fighter, Edge hacked through the Pherithian system, only to find out that Azlariah was not in the capital. "How disappointing, the target's not here, plus we're surrounded." The voice said. "Good then, more souls on the way." Edge replied. He then rushes to the enemies' to battle.

Taking over the Fleenzub Fighter, Edge hacked through the Pherithian system, only to find out that Azlariah was not in the capital.

A ping appears showing the apparent location of Azlariah's palace in... the former ruins of Legranda. Meanwhile, unknown to Edge, a self-destruct sequence has been activated silently... This hijacked Fleenzub Fighter will either lose all energies and crash or being blow up mid-air within 30 seconds.

(Actually, they were hacking a decoy trap and now Deldrach -- that faceless cyborg hiding in Deroc's spacecraft, is aware of Edge)

"How disappointing, the target's not here, plus we're surrounded." The voice said. "Good then, more souls on the way." Edge replied. He then rushes to the enemies' to battle.

Seventeen seconds later...

A dark, throaty yet sexy voice whispered to Edge, "Ah, Edge -- the Ace of the Egilians. What a naive attempt to murder one of our elites... Your defeat is at hand, Egilian!"

Five seconds remaining as Deldrach finished his words!
================
"Then I shall show you what's true power, weakling!"

All of a sudden, barrages of shadowy balls rained onto Amber from every direction. Deep within these dark orbs contain mystical and dark essences that could corrupt and corrode one's body and bring utter agony of darkness upon their target.

Another rain of ArcaneFuck Napalms (resembling a middle finger) was unleashed upon Amber, when hit they would blast her body with burning lava almost as hot as a Sun.

Afterwards, a huge tentacle also resembling a middle finger impaled a likely surprised Amber from the earth.

The puff of shadows would then dissolve and reveal a Deroc materialized just before Amber, glaring with his purple-glowing eyes.

As Deldrach finished his words. "Heh, your calling somebody who is dead." Suddenly, the hijacked fighter became engulfed in a crimson aura. All the systems in it became dead, the fuel supply disappeared, and the aircraft self-destruct sequence abolished. "Crimson-Death: Manifestation!" Edge casts a spell on the aircraft.

It became controlled by Edge, the systems were replaced, the energy source became souls, and the Fleenzub Fighter changes its color to black, the stripes replaced into crimson. "Behold! The Dead Pherithian! To think you can hack in, let's see if you can know."

The hijacked Fleenzub became the "Dead Pherithian", it's color became black, the stripes into crimson, the metals that compose it were now look like a ghost, the energy it uses emits a dark-red aura which were souls. Edge manifests and fully controls the aircraft itself.

A bright holy nova emitted from Amber which used pure power to deflect the orbs making them fly in different directions. Due their corruption she could sense them in time to defend against it.
The second assault proved a bit successful though, the nova still manage to equal some of it in power and thus made the number of spells that hit her quite low. Yet, critical damage was dealt.
In fact the damage was great enough to make her body enter a "shock" state which meant that she'd feel no pain despite the immense pain she should logically feel.
She could fall forward and land on her knees, but the spell that hit her earlier prevented her from doing so. In the end she remained standing heavily bleeding.

The third assault then hit her and impaled her, making a giant hole through her stomach.
Amber simply looked down upon the whole. "How.. surprising." she whispered with a shaky voice as she then turned her gaze upwards as Deroc now stood infront.
"Took you long enough." she spoke out quite harshly.

The tentacle that had impaled her now exploded from the inside, making small yellow particles slowly fall downwards.
The hole through her stomach remained but it would slowly but surely get smaller as it passively got healed. Still, healing innards would take a few minutes.
Meanwhile Amber had quite some issues standing up, she seemed as if she was insanely drunk.

The orbs, to Amber's surprise, was obliterated into vacuum quite easily, but they were only the beginning......

Deroc then pretended to be terrified and anxious, but actually he didn't. "Nooooooooooo!!! Nobody was supposed to be able to break them! Damn!"

Deroc would then act like a clown in hysteria. "Wha haha haha haha haha haha haha ha~~HA!!! Yay!!! I win!"

"Oh wait... strange, why don't you cry in pain? You know, I always enjoy listening to the screams of busybodies like you..." Deroc's dark voice would then burst out laughing out loud.

"...to put an end to your nosy life, mortal." Deroc replied in a hostile tone. "Had I never healed you in the first place, I won't have to deal with all this puny-silly dramas, mortal."

Deroc aimed his rifle toward the earth, afterwards he inserted it into the soils and pulled the trigger.

The earth around Amber suddenly danced like crazy, causing her to lose balance. The earthquakes might likely distract and interrupt Amber's mind and any silent channelings (if any). At the same time, the earth suddenly shone in vibrant hues of green, accompanied by a seemingly harmful mists of energies.

They are radioactive arcane-plasma energies (RAPE), which would possibly and hopefully make Amber to vomit in discomfort and also mess up with her internal organs and mana storage. It was still unknown whether holy energy can counter radiation or not.

Meanwhile, Deroc began to suffer from symptoms. He was drenched by bitter sweats, and he felt that his throat is very itchy. His head began to shiver a little and his face seemed disgusted. Slight color changes on his skin can be seen as well. Looked like Deroc forgot to wear specialized suits to shield him from arcane-plasma radiation (APR). However, Deroc could still withstand the radiation thanks to the special properties of his body and soul.

Amber ignored his speech, words alone would not harm her after all.
Not to mention that she was not in a state where energy should be wasted on petty words, she had to focus on healing.

Amber did not channel anything, she had to supply her tendrils every now and then but they were not need of a constant flow of energy thus they were not canceled.

The blast made Amber trip, she was not quite agile and did not regain the balance.
Deroc's radiation could not be directly countered, however the damage caused could be repaired.
That would be no issues for her normally, but due the recent wounds she had just received she had too much to heal at once.
As a result minor symptoms would occur shortly after the blast.
Her hair slowly turned ashen, her skin seemed less white and more grey/dead. She coughed a few times at first, but afterwards got slightly used to the breathing problems and held them into more occasional coughs.

Amber then extended her hand forward and pointed at Deroc, from her finger a super thin ray that was almost invisible due the size, the ray moved insanely quick directly towards Deroc's right eye in order to pierce it. The spell itself would not be powerful as it was merely quick and hard to see, but it could be enough to effectively make Deroc blind (on one side) permanently.

As the Fleenzub Fighters try to destroy The Dead Pherithian, Edge flies towards them and started to shoot them down. Maneuvering anti-air attacks with the Dead Pherithian's faster speed, and weapons emitting the powers of blood. For each Fleenzub's Edge destroyed, their pilots' souls are drawn into Edge's sword Deidiaccus like a magnet.

"We'll use this opening to get out of this place." The chaos in skies served Edge an opening to escape from the capital. Using the hacked informations, Edge flies his Dead Pherithian towards the location of Azlariah located north.

"How can this be even possible, Egilian?" Deldrach's rasping dark voice whispered to Edge. It seemed that he could be able to channel his voice almost everywhere of the world, possibly with the combined use of telepathic magics and technologies.

"Let's talk about this, shall we? What actually brings you here, Egilian?"

"We'll use this opening to get out of this place." The chaos in skies served Edge an opening to escape from the capital. Using the hacked informations, Edge flies his Dead Pherithian towards the location of Azlariah located north.

At first it seemed that nothing else was inside The Dead Pherithian, however if one listen carefully a slight, dark giggle could be heard for four seconds and then abruptly stopped.

==========
Deroc's radiation could not be directly countered, however the damage caused could be repaired.
That would be no issues for her normally, but due the recent wounds she had just received she had too much to heal at once.

"Huh??? Why you didn't take any damage, mortal--"

As a result minor symptoms would occur shortly after the blast.
Her hair slowly turned ashen, her skin seemed less white and more grey/dead. She coughed a few times at first, but afterwards got slightly used to the breathing problems and held them into more occasional coughs.

"Haha, see? This is what happens, if you dare mess with me!"

Deroc stopped channeling the radiation, no, I mean, he had already stopped after firing the radiation for the first time. He would still suffer from a little dizziness and some nauseatic feeling, though.

Deroc's left eye then bursted into spills of bloody muscles. "Ahhhh, my eye... is blind... NOT!!!" A few seconds later, muscles inside the left eyehole began to flicker and reorganize themselves to form a new left eye.

"Mwhaha haha haha ha haha haha haha ha!!! Your powers are nothing compared to mine!"

Deroc rose his palms up in a fast pace and focused his sight on the ground around Amber. The soils and the rocks would then dance like horny, encircling Amber as they concentrated at Amber's position. The soils would then harden and trap Amber inside whilst hurting her plently by pressuring her body.

"Haha, see? This is what happens, if you dare mess with me!"

Amber simply snorted, she was certain she could obliterate Deroc quite easily.
However she did not want to, since she was afraid to waste powers on potential illusions.

Before Deroc said a single word in his sentence Amber launched another quick attack, similar to the first one. It curved to the side where he still seemed blind while the eye was regenerating. It's end destination would be the heart, or where the heart would be at least.

Deroc rose his palms up in a fast pace and focused his sight on the ground around Amber. The soils and the rocks would then dance like horny, encircling Amber as they concentrated at Amber's position. The soils would then harden and trap Amber inside whilst hurting her plently by pressuring her body.
Amber really wanted to avoid being hit by those rocks as her injuries were already at a critical level. Another hit right now would probably kill her, or at least make her unable to move for days.
She quickly put her palms together as a holy energy blew the rocks up from the inside, showing slight cracks which made yellow light shine through briefly before it's destruction.

"I believe your still talking to someone who is dead, I am not him, but enough talk. I don't want you to know too much, Deldrach, hehe." Edge replies to Deldrach as if he already knows him.

Then Edge continues to fly away, trying to bust through the defenses in his way.

Before Deroc said a single word in his sentence Amber launched another quick attack, similar to the first one. It curved to the side where he still seemed blind while the eye was regenerating. It's end destination would be the heart, or where the heart would be at least.

This time however, the attack is not as effective as before, though Deroc could feel quite some irritating vibrations around his heart. Thanks to the chest armor he's been wearing. And the ray reflected back to Amber's direction.

Amber quickly put her palms together as a holy energy blew the rocks up from the inside, showing slight cracks which made yellow light shine through briefly before it's destruction.

As the rocks crumbled, all of them along with the soils bursted a reactionary explosion, probably hurting Amber more and reflecting some of her holy explosions back toward her.

Deroc then fired a heavy ray toward Amber, which will move as fast as cheetah but not light itself, but far more devastating than normal plasma lasers.

"What?" Deldrach remained silent for awhile, but then continued, "I... am not Deldrach but I am CABAL! I am sure that you are that very Egilian..."

If one listened carefully, Deldrach's voice sounded a bit unnatural, however his voice turned normal yet sexy when he whispered "that very Egilian" with a slight increase in voice.

Then Edge continues to fly away, trying to bust through the defenses in his way.

Dozens of laser would hit The Dead Pherithian from the Teratorns and Obelisks of Darkness, along with missiles from the SAM Sites.

"What does it matter anyway, try to keep yourself lucky because you're not my target now enough with your talks." Edge replies to Deldrach with a ghostly voice.

The Dead Pherithian simply passes through the missiles like it was a ghost, and it dodge the lasers easily with its speed. Leaving the capitol's sector, Edge activated Ghost Fade, which made the Dead Pherithian disappeared

She caught her own spell in her hand once more as it was reflected back to her, the spell then faded. At least she got the mana back.

As the rocks crumbled, all of them along with the soils bursted a reactionary explosion, probably hurting Amber more and reflecting some of her holy explosions back toward her.
The explosion were not that powerful, thus it merely left burn marks. And some missing skin at some parts.
This was nothing to the pain she already felt through her impaled stomach.
And due the nature of holy magic it would not harm Amber.
Holy magic is faith based, meaning that it can only be used if the caster truly believes he/she is doing the right thing. And the spell will not damage anyone who got the exact same belief.

Deroc then fired a heavy ray toward Amber, which will move as fast as cheetah but not light itself, but far more devastating than normal plasma lasers.
The ray seemed to be successful at first as Amber did not seem to cast any spell to prevent the quick spell. However just before it hit her, her metal wing faded in, it was bent around her, functioning as a shield against the ray.
Needless to say it was not merely normal metal, it was enchanted, heavily enchanted.
Despite the damage it had taken earlier - which prevented her from flying with it - it would function well to protect her.

Her tendrils whom were (likely) still fighting the spawns made wide swipes forcing the spawns to take a step or two backwards to prevent getting hit. This opened up a few moments of opportunity.
Quickly after they extended towards Deroic, trying to impale him upfront.

The animatronics started damaging the walls. Although the artilleries helped, there were just too many portals.

Gayvin began to feel nervous. He was so shocked that he simply stared at his command screen for five minutes.

All of a sudden, Gayvin was enlightened. "Aha! Perhaps I would just wipe out all those portals within a single superweapon strike!"

"Get the crews to prepare for the Proton Collider!"
Gayvin's force began construction of Proton Collider.

Desperate, the Cakemaster then tried to unleash a rain of shadowy orbs and plasmaballs toward Amber. Along with that, he summoned six Illuminati Arms encircling Amber./

One of the Illuminati Arms positioned himself horizontally and began to rotate like hell slapping anything that came in its way, likely Amber.

Another shooted a beam of frying laser toward Amber's heart. The lasers were also enhanced, heavily enhanced, by unknown yet intimidating shady energies. Any laser of this type could completely pierce the tough metals of Abrams and Apocalypses, and a single ray could bring a dozen of them down. However, these shady energies is much more reactive to enemy holy energies. Divine Shields are useless and any contact with enemy holy energies (conflicting difference in faith) would burst out a chain of huge explosions.

As the shadowballs essentially seemed the same as many of the earlier assaults, it did not scare Amber.
The rays would be another story though as she clearly felt the different energy it contained, in fact it made her slightly nervous. Though she did not show any apparent signs of this.

For a quick second, Amber looked to her side, seeing Sapphire a few meters away. Due her invisibility she could not be seen by Amber. "Take your time, Deroc will start to panic soon enough, I've caused a distraction that will take place soon."
Perhaps Deroc would somehow pick up the words, Sapphire did not mind if that happened it would likely mean he'd want to rush even more.
"Poor Azlariah, being killed behind her lover's back." Sapphire said with a devilish laugh as she walked away from the scene. Amber glared angrily after Sapphire for a few moments, she did not like such tactics. Still, it meant that even if she died here, Azlariah might die either way thanks to Edge, the thought brought her peace of mind. Yet she did not get to enjoy it for long due the incoming assaults. She swiped with her hands widely, conjuring a thin wall of holy energy in front of herself, protecting her from the shadow orbs.
The hand that tried to smack her seemed to deal minor damage compared to the rays the other hands, thus she ignored it for now.
As the barrier quickly faded, Amber decided she had to use her key ability. She put her palms together, making her a huge nova erupt from her. It collided with the rays, causing the huge explosions, luckily the point of impact would be a fair bit away from Amber making her metal wing able to take most of the damage. Soon it'd be unusable for defense as well.

Before any tendrils could reach Deroc, the other Illuminati Arms quickly grabbed the tendrils and attempted to tear them with intense vigor into fragments.
The tendrils were bashed to non-existence as Amber decided to not fuel them with further mana to prevent it from happening.

The nova hit Deroc as well, but it would not damage him. The holy energies would convert the surrounding area. The air seemed to shimmer vaguely, the clouds in the sky got a yellow tone. And more importantly, Amber started to glow brightly as well. It was as if she was engulfed in holy flames.
maxresdefault.jpg

She had turned the area into her domain from the time being, while it did greatly empower her in many aspects it was mana heavy, even for her. She breathed heavily as she stared towards Deroc.

While Amber was in her domain she could see through illusions and her abilities would be considerably more powerful and have wider usage.

I'll try to end it in a few posts, these battles are taking way too long.
Maybe two or three really heavy spells then I'll concede.

"Take your time, Deroc will start to panic soon enough, I've caused a distraction that will take place soon."

"Huh?" Deroc grunted softly in confusion.

Amber swiped with her hands widely, conjuring a thin wall of holy energy in front of herself, protecting her from the shadow orbs.
"Afraid of my powers, eh?" Deroc weaved his hands with a devilish smile on his face, his eyes glowing brightly in shadowy purple. As sparks of purple arcane energies formed onto his hands, nine huge spheres of void appeared around Amber.

The huge spheres of darkness began to enlarge and grow massively as seconds passed, and pulling Amber to nine different directions with great vigor. Amber would be possibly torn apart by the really high pressures exerted from different directions.

The pulling force only amplifies in intensity as the void spheres continued to expand. One minute later, a chain of massive and colorful shadow eruptions bursted out as all the nine void spheres collapsed. The corrupting energies released are almost as powerful as the Illuminati Arm's lazors, being able to level dozens of Abrams and Apocalypses with ease, as well as being able to corrode and plague any potential targets into darkness.

As soon as those void spheres collapsed, hordes of shadowspawns would then materialize before Amber and rush toward her trying to tear her into pieces of meat streaks.

Meanwhile the Illuminati Arms paused suspiciously for a while, while their Illuminati eyes began to glow brightly as they gathered energies around them. Suddenly, a continuous hail of wide frying lazors hit Amber from the Illuminati Hands, sending Amber to perish in the rays of agony.

"Damn, I must end this QUICK!!!"

Deroc rose his hands and now, eighteen void spheres showed up encircling Amber, followed by the creation of strong shadowy rifts around Amber. The intense shade of darkness would then try to neutralize the holy environment and in the process released some radioactive energies.

The spheres of void would, same as before, pull Amber with great vigor from all directions that Amber's arms and legs could look like as long as the Nile River. Meanwhile the shadowy rifts were trying to suck Amber into themselves and at the same time unleash hordes of shadowspawns to assault Amber......

"How predictable.." Amber thought to herself as the new spheres appeared around her.
She did not want to use another nova as that would make her equally uncreative.

She have more options now that was she was inside her 'god realm', she could..
Her thought process was interrupted by the sudden force from the spheres, it was a painful experience. She let our a loud scream of pain which caused the air to tremble, micro seconds later the air's density would increase drastically around the spheres, trying to essentially crush them with both force and the immense holy aura the area now emitted. The process would take a few seconds which Amber had to endure in the meantime. Luckily her wounds healed very quickly on holy ground.

The flames that engulfed Amber's body, sparked up for a second as the clouds burst a part, then, a thick burning beam of light was summoned, aiming to obliterate the hands in one powerful blow.
Afterwards the beam would progressively move towards Deroc at a dangerously quick pace. As a result Amber fell down on her knees once more, while she was still maintaining her pure holy form and the 'god realm', the mana required to cast heavy spells in it quickly took it's toll on her.

"Damn, I must end this QUICK!!!"

"Quite right.." Amber mumbled in response with a tired tone.

Deroc rose his hands and now, eighteen void spheres showed up encircling Amber, followed by the creation of strong shadowy rifts around Amber. The intense shade of darkness would then try to neutralize the holy environment and in the process released some radioactive energies.

In response Amber summoned a few large spheres of her own. They levitated around her at quick pace for a few moments before flying towards the rifts to collide with them and interrupt their neutralization. Even if wouldn't fully succeed it would still take the rifts quite a while achieve such a feat.
Regardless of its success, Amber would get dragged once more by the rifts. The effect was reduced a bit by her pure form which allowed her to stay intact with extreme struggle for a few seconds, she merely awaited the impact between Deroc and her cloud burst which would likely force him to interrupt the spells due the lack of concentration, or remain still, both of them would likely die in that case.

"Get the crews to prepare for the Proton Collider!"
Gayvin's force began construction of Proton Collider.

A Cybranasaurus was teleported in through one of the portals.

Gauge "Dammit! Dagnabbit! Activate the Reaver Guardian Sysems!"
Several Fel Revears were activated in rapid succesion and are sent to deal with the hordes. As the Fel Reaver was enormous, it starts destroying huge battlions of animatronics. "That should keep them occupied!" Gauge said. Satisfied

(Chaosy: Sorry, but I ran out of ideas and I need time to reply, I am not so creative when it comes to all these fancy spells. I will try to reply as soon as possible)

=============
Escaping the Pherithians, Edge looks at his saved map that was hacked through the systems. "Let's see, so the location of the target is at north, time to go." Edge says as he flies towards north (Remains of Legranda).

To make it more convincing, Deldrach dispatched several squadrons of Fleenzub Fighters to chase Edge to the end. Besides, five more squadrons of them routed their ways to seem that they approached in front of Edge.

All of these Fleenzub Fighters opened fire on The Dead Pherithian.

(Construction of Proton Collider: 20%)

Gayvin deployed more Artilleries and Falcon Prism Hovercrafts to support the Fel Reavers by wrecking some more animatronics

Luckily her wounds healed very quickly on holy ground.
"What the... fuck?!?! I must get rid of this stupid holiness!"

The flames that engulfed Amber's body, sparked up for a second as the clouds burst apart, then, a thick burning beam of light was summoned, aiming to obliterate the hands in one powerful blow.
The arms were able to open up their Illuminati Eyes on time, and the essences and energies of the ray was absorbed by the arms.

Afterwards, the six hands would face each other, first unleashing beams of corrupted lazors toward adjacent eyes forming a blazing hexagram of rays. A force shield (sphere, one hemisphere cover the surface and the other covers the soil crusts) would form from the hexagram. It would require a massive amount of energies for Amber to destroy or bypass the shield, however, Deroc and his spawnlings were able to pass with ease (as well as their spells). It is unknown whether it blocks spellcasting, however it is almost guaranteed to block away auras of realms (rendering the holy ground useless for awhile).

While the arms continued to channel energies and focus on the hexagram and the force shield, Deroc released four rift of darkness on the corners of the force shield. These rifts of darkness would release hordes of shadowspawns while draining Amber of her mana, making her unable to performn most of her holy playtricks.

"Begin! The! Showdown!!!"

Suddenly, five densely packed spheres of void would appear just beside Amber, sucking her with massive gravitational forces while corroding and corrupting her with shades of darkness. The arms were also affected by the strong gravitational pull, they lose focus of the hexagram. The hexagram would then be disrupted into lightnings of roasting energies.

These unstable currents concentrated and expanded, as soon as the force shield collapsed (because of no hexagram support) these currents would then burst violently in a chain explosion, unleashing waves and waves of highly destructive energies enough to level entire strongholds into rubbles and ashes. The chain explosion would continue for twelve seconds, and it turned the region into a massive crater.

Amber let out a sigh of relief as her body was split a part in multiple pieces and the pain disappeared. "In the end.. dignity killed me.." escaped her dying breath, likely low enough to be unheard.
With her death, the godrealm was sucked into what remained of Amber's body, surprisingly the body would regenerate within seconds, making it whole again. But without life.

Aedari appeared out of nowhere by a gust of wind, quickly grabbing the body and carried it back towards the Underworld armies. "You didn't even want to wini-wini.." she said with a sad tone while she walked.

In case Deroc tried to prevent the body from being taken back, the Underworld minions would let hostile growls escape. They clearly intended to continue with the invasion despite Amber's death. At least they would if they were given a reason to.

If he let it happen the minions would turn their backs and march backwards, leaving the battlefield and Deroc's Empire.

Sapphire went out of her invisibility and appeared beside Aedari. "Hard to believe.." Sapphire stated with a shocked voice.
"She simply couldn't kill Deroc with such an attitude, she had so much up her sleeve. My guess is that she were torn, she felt gratitude towards Deroc and didn't want to kill him. Yet her foolish strife after greater good and dignity forced her to kill Deroc too fulfill that, but she lacked commitment while doing so." Aedari spoke out with teary eyes.
Sapphire simply stared at Aedari. "When did I allow you to feel sadness? Among the feelings I gave you sadness and pity were not among them, I will fix this thoroughly back in the Underworld."
In response Aedari simply nodded while staring at Ambers pale face in her arms.

"Revenge, vengeance, hate.. however.." Sapphire added with a devilish smile "embrace it"

Gotta say that was disappointing, absorbing Amber's final breath. That's quite anticlimax.
I think I found a suiting end for Linnea, she remained undefeated in a way and also remained good until the end.
She wont be revived, fret not.

__________

Sapphire's voice appeared in Edge's head. "We've distracted Deroc for a while but he'll be able to disrupt your assassination now, sadly. Though he wont be in prime condition due a recent battle. Just warning you ahead of time."
"I suggest a stealthy assassination, I doubt you'll succeed if Deroc is around.

@Chaosy: Sorry, but I tried my best to be creative. At least I can come up with a fancy spell idea.

Deroc, looking at the remains of Amber being dragged away by the Underworld minions, sighed in sadness. "This wouldn't have happened... had Amber chose to surrender and retreat. We could be living in harmony and peace, but now it's gone..." Sheds of tears slowly wept from his moistened eyes, no longer glowing brightly. "I shouldn't have acted on it..."

A few divisions of nearby Pherithians advanced to the north and reclaimed their lands. All Pherithians seemed confused by Deroc's cry. "Deroc is crying for the enemy?" "I am confused!" "What the fuck???" "Hey, what happened?" "Was that so-called Linnea his ex-girlfriend?"...... this continued for about a minute.

"Silence!" Deroc turned his head and looked at his puzzled crowds of Pherithians. "Their new leader could be more dangerous, they will most likely seek for vengeance and deliver a solid blow to our nation. We must prepare for another possible conflict with those fools. For now, we should stay on alert and take care of ourselves first (a.k.a. improve the economy and military)."

<Deldrach,> Deroc called the Faceless cyborg with his telepathic powers, <Deploy the Command Spacecruiser back in the heart of New Malacca. I want to rest after a pointless battle, and I don't want New Malacca to be handicapped.>

<As you wish, Cakemaster.>

The crowds of troops scattered themselves and regrouped at the edges of Pherithian lands. Outposts were quickly being set up while the reassembled forces patrol the borders and other key areas.

Deroc then vanished in a puff of purple smoke. Meanwhile, defenses of Azlariah's stronghold are being fortified and increased, and more guards were sent to patrol the nearby areas. A few more Sensor Arrays were being deployed, to prevent any sneaky Basterds from getting in (there were already some Deployed Sensor Arrays and Magic Sentry Arcane Towers there).

(to be continued)

Aedari felt slight happiness as she heard Deroc cries, but she also kept in mind that Deroc was a master of illusions, acting sad would not be hard for him.
The thought burned in her mind, she wanted to kill Deroc at the spot. Yet, she did not want to break Amber's promise out of respect.
What Amber did want however - was Azlariah's death. In a way it was her last wish.
Aedari promised herself that if she ever got her hands on Azlariah she would torture her for days. Preferably with Amber's body in front of her.

While still holding Amber, a scroll flew out of Aedari's pocket, glowing for a moment before teleporting her away. More specifically to her underground house in the Underworld. She quickly moved a few tablewares from her food table and then placed Amber's body there.

She ordered the slave who took care of the building while she was gone to get a special vial from the cellar. She carefully put some of the vial's content in her hands before rubbing it all over Amber's body.
It would preserve the body for many year without rotting.
She sang silently with sad tone while doing so:

'There's day when we'll fight'
'And we're not gonna fall'
'There's a day when we'll take a stance'
'And stare down death, and the taste is sweet'
'There's a day when we'll stand'
'And a day when we won't crawl anymore'
'Then it's time to say goodbye to the things we loved'

Sorrow was a horrible feeling, she felt relief over the fact that Sapphire would remove it completely. But at the same time, she didn't feel like wanting to forget what the loss of Amber meant to her.
Regardless, she followed Sapphire out the door as they heeded for the Soul Forge as Sapphire liked to call it.

__________

Meanwhile in Sanctum the whole dimension shook as Amber drew her last breath. While some were fairly happy that Linnea had died due her not being a 'true angel' with one wing missing, most were devastated. That their symbol of power and purity had been defeated was an ill sign, there was no proof that the same wouldn't happen with Linnea's successor.

Regardless they had to pray to their Deity and make him choose a new ruler of Sanctum and the angels. This included many complex rituals which would take days, but they started right away.

Regardless of the Fleenzub pursuit, The Dead Pherithian was more faster and that it quickly crossed the Jubi (Gobi) Lake. The frontal Fleenzub pursuit then meets up with the Dead Pherithian.

"Oh good, more souls" He said before he started to fire and engaged with the coming Pherithian pursuit.

Many of the Fleenzub Fighters chased after The Dead Pherithian and opened fire. They believed an overwhelming and spammed rains of plasmaballs could bring down and outnumber The Dead Pherithian. (oh, the plasmaballs has some-sort of hostile spirit-seekers and magic-seekers as well as heat seekers, although it's really a complicated mystery for us Real Life Earthlings)

==========

Meanwhile, in Deroc's Command Spacecraft......

A puff of purple smoke appears and Deroc showed up in his shadowy chamber full with shades of violet.

"Ah, welcome back Cakemaster Deroc. Congratulations on your success."

Deroc remained speechless for awhile. "It's not really a success, it caused quite a lot of problems for everyone." He snorted, then continued his words, "By the way, since Amber was dead - the Stubborn Legion (aka Genesis) will choose a new leader. If the leader's vengeful and ruthless, and being thousands times more powerful than Archimonde, we're fucked..."

"Anyway, this conflict messed the north up, and we must recover the northern lands of the great Pherith Empire as soon as possible. Deldrach, dispatch our best engineers and construction crews there."

"As you wish...... Cakemaster. The northern regions will recover at an estimated time of three weeks."

"Good. Since they were coming here for Azlariah, we must fortify our defenses and strengthen our armies, just in case if those little brats strike back." Deroc paused for a while, looking up to the ceiling and thinking...

After a good while, he said, "I need to organize a conference about issues concerning the military and our economy. Things are seriously fucked up. We'll meet up the next day at 20:00, and this conference will be held in the Flardyrn Headquarters. Tell the top officials and prominent Pherithians to attend the meeting."

"Yes, Cakemaster."
==========
"A meeting? In my citadel?" Azlariah stared at Deldrach's visualization blankly with her mouth open like saucer-wide.

"Of course, my beloved mistress." the Faceless responded in a rather sexy and endearing tone.

Azlariah restored to normal and asked, "Tell me, what is that little boy-boy (Deroc) going to talk about?"

"Here's what he said, oh and, Deroc's planning to fortify our defenses here. He knew those imps of Amber would be attacking again anytime," Deldrach played a recording of Deroc's speeches (with video showing what happened visually) to his elven mistress.

Deroc paused for a while, looking up to the ceiling and thinking...

"Huh? In my place? Oh, what-- n-never mind. I... I can't wait to see Deroc again~~ :ogre_kawaii: I'll be waiting for him~~ :ogre_kawaii:"

"But..." Deldrach reacted to Azlariah in a slightly sad tone, "was I not good eno-- but Deroc seemed to be sad about Linnea. He seems like he's not in the mood to make love,"

Upon hearing of Amber's name, Azlariah furiously slammed her desk. "Linnea... you... fuck that evil troublemaker-whore!"

In Sanctum, the rituals slowly but surely came to an end. One of the angels had been chosen as the new Amber, his name was Kelgen their deity proclaimed him to be the closest to what Linnea was and what she stood for, yet was unlikely to make the same sentimental mistake Linnea did which led to her downfall.

While he was technically the ruler over the angels now, the power granted by the deity was yet to manifest, it would take time.
He was imminently faced with the possibility of an counter-offensive from Deroc's agents. He thought it was unlikely for Deroc to do so, yet he did not have the same faith for his subordinates.
The new Amber did not have Sapphire on a leash either, the contract that Linnea had formed with Sapphire was broken by her death.
He considered to simply request a new one, but he was certain Sapphire would make the conditions more favorable for her this around due his dire need of her legions.
He ruffled his hair in agony over the problem, he could of course shut down the gateways completely and be completely safe that way.

However that would go against the sole purpose Genesis existed, to bring about a new era with purity and peace. This would never be achieved if they hid away.
Yet sacrificing troops be it angels or mortals, was unneeded. Amber believed Linnea was correct to try to kill Azlariah, however going to such extremes for a single life was questionable, even for the greater good. Yet he admired her for dodging the massacre that would have ensued if the battle would wage as they usually did, in the end her approach was as close to perfect as it realistically get.

He made the angels patrol four times more frequently and send more scouts to notice possible assaults nearing them. He wanted to know of such an issue in time so that he could consider carefully at the very least.

"You're having the time of your 'life' aren't you?" he spoke out.
"Ca caw" was the reply given.

________________________

"Yes. Yes, I am" Sapphire mumbled with a wicked grin. She finally had to to construct new soldiers with the souls stolen from the fallen during the invasion.
Despite her saying that, she was furious inside. The new Amber was even worse than Linnea. Sapphire had a certain respect for Linnea, she truly hated her ideals but she respected her strength. No one would ever equal Linnea in power, or her will to act for the greater good.
However Amber seemed to idolize Linnea and try to mimic her intents, this was horrific. It was simply a worse Linnea. Though he seemed to be less sentimental and have rather tactical mind, Linnea never needed that as she relied on pure power alone.

From what her observers had noticed by looking at the angel's movements was that he was not going to resume the attack, but merely defended for whatever reason. It was not certain that Deroc would attack either since her observers had seen a focus on rebuilding the empire.
This was not good.. that way Sapphire would never get Azlariah's soul.
She suddenly got an idea and summoned Aedari right away. Aedari had always been hard to control in the sense that was was impulsive and mostly did what she wanted, however with Linnea's death she could direct her towards Azlariah with ease. It was not important for her to succeed in killing her, worst case scenario, Deroc would attack due anger of the assault which meant another chance of killing him.

3 hours later. The Jubi Lake was smoking with Fleenzub Fighters in the water. Landing at the north lake's coast was Edge, taking a tobacco break. "Ah, how many was that..." he paused and breaths out smoke. "Ah yes, all of them." He said before he checks the Soul Crucible filling with souls.

"Hmm?" He notices the Dead Pherithian coming up with a message. He reads it and says "Flardyrn Headquarters eh..." He breaths out smoke. "Let's fly" he said. "Whatever, you better have a plan." A voice replies. "I have, and it'll be good"

He then flies the Dead Pherithian, and disappears in the sky.

"Hey, where the hell has that Egilian gone?!?!"
"We're going to be royally screwed by the bosses... for losing against a single aircraft!"

The Fleenzub Fighters flew back to their respective airbases. They faced the music afterwards. "YOU MORONS!!! Incompetent pilots!!! We were the greatest air force in the entire multiverse, and now, we're being humiliated by a SINGLE hijacked and repainted spacecraft?!?!" the mortified Space Force General ranted in frustration.

"But he used some--"

"Fuck you all, useless pieces of shit! What a lame excuse, 'he must have used some tricks', 'that guy was cunning' blah blah, Yah, Yah, Yah, Yah, Yah!!!"

A lieutenant stood up for the poor pilots. "But they have worked really hard for the Pherith Empire, General, you know it--"

"What?!?! Even you... oppose me?!?! Damn you all, you all shall be sacked! Sacked!!!"

As a result of the Space Force General's ego and temper, hundreds of Fleenzub Fighter pilots were fired. This reckless purge has weakened the Pherithian air arsenal significantly. Meanwhile, these pilots, feeling betrayed and disappointed by the General of the Space Force, begin organizing a partisan movement......

And poor Deroc and his elven gal Azlariah became their scapegoats.

The following day, Amber was in a state of coma. More exactly, the body was absorbing the power Amber inherited. It could not be interrupted by any means, theoretically you could cut of his limbs without him waking up.

The process was very pleasant he was at complete peace and felt a comforting warmth throughout his body.
But at the same time it filled his mind with sorrow. Not because of the process itself but because he merged with the previous Ambers, in a way. Small parts of their consciousness were planted into him, he could communicate with them if he so wished.
Linnea rarely did his during her reign, mostly because she was just about always right and did not require the opinions of others.
This was something he intended to follow - mostly.
He intended to talk with Linnea about many things, and more or less ignore the others.
He could do so even in his current state.

"How do you fret, Linnea?" he asked nervously.
"Amber may not be nervous." was her response as an image of Linnea was shown in his mind.
"I.. apologize. Sorry for your.. state." he spoke out, he just wanted to put it out there. He was truly sorry about her death.
"Destiny is a cruel mistress, regardless there's nothing to do about it now."
"You're right as always" Amber quickly admitted. "However, I wonder where your body is to my knowledge it never arrived at Sanctum. After a second thought he added "Did the enemy claim it?!" the thought made him furious.
As a sign of his fury, minor cracks were created in the room where he lied. Various angels rushed forward too see if something were wrong, but found nothing weird physically needless to say.

"It's well taken care of actually." Linnea replied with a heartwarming smile.
"By whom?" Amber inquired.
"You don't need to know." Linnea stated as she turned around, now with her back against his view. "I'll be going now, it pains me to see you."
"Linnea!" Amber cried out, almost desperately. "What did I do?"
"I can see through most of your mind, even in death. You're trying to become what I was, mimic who I am. It will lead to your inevitable downfall." Linnea said with a lower tone as she seemed to further away now as she walked away from his view.
"But you're the greatest among those granted Amber throughout history! If I can be even a little close to what you was I would lead Genesis to greatness and bring about the new era you desired!"
"Maybe I was, or maybe not. It's not my place to say. Regardless it pains me to see someone walking down the same path of damnation. I achieved many things when I was alive, yet I too failed in the end. Why would you mimic someone who failed? why not become something greater than I was?"
"It was one mistake, out of thousands of correct choices! I'll bring honor to the title of Amber which was essentially made for you alone Linnea, there'll be no one greater - ever."
He then noticed that Linnea was gone from his inner view.

Meanwhile in the Underworld Sapphire saw.. interesting things through the eyes of her Observers.
"Most interesting.. this may be the perfect plan.." Sapphire mumbled before calling out "Aedari~"

"Even some citizen among the ones that killed Am-- Linnea have started a small revolution. Go assist them, if they are successful you'll eventually face Azlariah in due time - with her own men against her. And you'll also weaken the empire as a whole by doing so, Deroc will not be able to sleep peacefully as long as it remains."
"It shall be done." was Aedari's cold reply "Don't touch Amber's body by the way." the tone had commanding vibe to it.
"She's not Amber anymore. Not to mention you should know your place!" with her voice, Aedari felt her soul in extreme pain. She screamed in pain, which in turn echoed in the large caverns that made up the Underworld.
Aedari fell down on the cold, dead ground twitching violently as if getting shocked by electricity all while screaming over, and over. Inbetween the screams however, "There's no other Amber to me." escaped between her teeth.
"You're my favorite minion, my right hand you may even say. However if the hand does not obey I will dispose of it."

Not sure if this is what you planned, but turning it into a revolution might count as a mini or major event depending on how far you wanna take it. If Aedari joins in as a part of it, it will be less solo-RP for you.
Thumbs up for being better at drama than me by the way.

I always thought of changing the Pherithian nation, not sure which direction should the revolution go. Just let things happen naturally.

Thanks for joining the fun by the way, I'm not as lonely as before now.

Meanwhile, in an unknown building seemingly a huge tavern, a secret meeting among the dissatisfied crowd of Pherithians.

The crowd of partisans assembled around a few nearby tables. The bitter auras of resentment and grievance they emitted. Among the partisans here was Eric Calderon, the engineer who escaped Sapphire's wrath by fleeing from the Sanctum while unnoticed. He banged his table and stood up, yelling. "We are to overthrow that weakling Deroc and punish his pet mistress Azlariah! We are to punish that imbecile Salmon!"

"Yeah, they would all pay for sacking and mistreating us! Deroc must be punished for betraying Ghee Hin! And for collaborating with the fucking elves and bankers!"

"I can't believe it, Deroc lets his spoilt elven mistress and the plutocrats to enslave us all!" another partisan added.

Eric continued with his rant, "These elves are a cancer to Ghee Hin. They manipulated the economies, controlled the industries and dominated the societies! We were tortured and manipulated as they like, like we are slaves! They even managed to enslave Deroc and seized control of the Empire! We must get rid of this cancer and the corruption it brought!"

"Hey," a loud voice reprimanded, "I know the bankers are horrible and General Solomon is obnoxious, but the elves are innocent! Solomon acted on his own impulses, you know--"

Eric stood up and fired a gunshot toward the ceiling, afterwards glared and pointed at the moderate Ghee Hin member. "You, a traitor and disgrace to the Triad! You have failed (our) ancestor Chin Ah Yam and betrayed the Pherithians by your laughable pussiness and cowardice!"

"You know, Eric, most of the elves were innocent and they love our Pherithian state as much as we do. The Flardyrn elves are even responsible for some of our advanced technologies and magics we use today!"

"To hell with your nonsense! You must be either an agent of Flardyrn, or you must be hypnotized and seduced by elven whores to do their biddings!"

"Watch your mouth, Eric! Do you think I am some kind of pervert!?!? Your prejudice against elves is worse than lust!"

"Ah Meng, you traitor! Take him away and execute him in the name of Chin Ah Yam!"

A few other moderate Ghee Hin members stood up for the alleged "traitor" Ah Meng. Some elves couldn't stand the ignorance and neurosis of Eric and the extremists, and too stood up for Ah Meng. And this quickly escalated into a bloody bickering...

The Pherithian authorities were alerted by the noise and dispatched around four hundreds of Peacekeepers and Riot Troopers to quell the uproar.

But it didn't end too well for the poor Peacekeepers and Riot Troopers, they were smacked in their holes and utterly outnumbered by the armed Ghee Hin extremists. And the intervention of the Pherithian authority has resulted in a Tavern Putsch......
====================
In the Luxury Conference Room, deep within the Flardyrn Headquarters...

"Cakemaster, what are your plans for the Pherithian nation?" the elven swordmaster Dyffros asked.

Deroc coughed for a few times, before proceeding with his speech. "As you know, the northern lands have suffered since the petty fight. Many of our towns and cities there were ruined, and our mining operations there was forced to a stop due to the massive damage.

Besides, the corrupt and greedy bankers is causing massive economic issues to every Pherithian. Our commoners were unhappy, as they were suffering from the inflation, and many of them were forced to pay unnecessary debts to these plutocrats--"

A fast speech interrupted Deroc, "But, my Cakemaster, capitalism is necessary for us to progress and advance! It's normal in every successful country!"

Upon hearing the objection, Deroc slammed the desk in anger. "Dammit, Dyffros! This is exploitative and counter-progressive plutocracy!"

"But debts and inflations are normal in every country!"

Deroc remained silent while thinking for a perfect response. "Oh, for fuck's sake, they hurt the economy and make our citizens unhappy! We need to strengthen my Empire by well-managed central planning."

Deroc proposed the idea of a debt-free and interest-free currency along with plans to recover the northern lands, as well as a bunch of other stuffs--

Thanks to her teleportation scroll Aedari made it into Pherithian lands easily.
Finding were the rebels were meeting very not as easy, though. The mobilizing of Peacekeepers and Riot Troops and the battle that ensued made her work that much easier though.

At least she knew in which part of town it was now.
She lied down comfortably on a seemingly random roof and considered her options, she could try to disguise herself and join as a fellow patriot. Or she could act as someone independent that simply had the same goal in mind.
She preferred the first option, it seemed to have a higher success rate and cause less trouble overall. However she was aware of her own beauty, she was way above average even among her elven kin. Even in disguise she would draw attention, which made it that much harder to blend into the crowd.
Even so she thought it was the best option, if that failed she'd simply support the rebels from the shadows.

Now that she had decided that.. finding the hideout and gaining entrance was the next step.

With the empire in slight chaos, Aedari had no trouble finding shady dealers throughout town that sold various herbs and alchemy supplies, mainly to avoid taxes and also because some of the herbs they sold could be used for drugs and the like which was commonly not accepted in most countries.
With the alchemy supplies and the herbs she made a large quantity of a certain potion that would alter her appearance. It could not be dispelled or be detected by checking blood either. However it required her to drink the potion every four hours to make it remain in effect.

The new appearance of Aedari was still very like before. Her hair had turned blonde and her skin was no longer pale, overall she looked like she did when she was alive before Sapphire put her claws in her.
With her new appearance she could shop in normal (legal) stores without having to worry about getting half the army after her. The first stop was a weapon store, she had a keen interest in the weapons used by the empire. If she was to hide, she could not show her magical powers thus she needed weapons. And swords was not something that seemed common within the empire.
Thus she would try to get hand hands on a pistol or similar weapon.

Aedari had found some less likable guy during her search for shady dealers, her was in the process of banging a street whore. While Aedari was a very lustful being, she did not exactly like while others were doing it. Thus she took it upon herself to make the world a slightly better place by getting rid of him by possessing his blood and making him strange himself. She then took the money he had on him. She let the whore run, it was too dark to accurately see anyway.

With the money she entered a middle-ranked weapon store. (not poor not luxurious)
To the owner she said "Sorry for bothering you but I could use some guidance, I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to weapons. It's supposed to be a present for my partner, you see."

Is it ok if I control the shop owner or do you prefer to do that yourself?

In the Reaper world...
"Oh souls of the Cull, hear me, those of you who know, tell me, those of you who want to be free, say to me. For your freedom in the afterlife will be for eternity." A woman's voice chants...

Then, Death came... "What do you want Death?" The woman asks as she draws her blade. "Now now, I have a proposal, you may know already. Involving him..." Death replied. "You sent that idiot, didn't you?" The woman said, annoyed but continues to chant. Her face is shown, pale-ish white, her hair black to reddish, with a cloak covering her body. Her left eye is blue, and a shadow covers her right eye.

"Indeed" Death paused then continue, "Now for my proposal, you are as a Reaper, will not stay quiet for deals."
The woman let's out a sigh and "Alright, what is it?" She asks forcibly. "I'm setting my business in this particular world that I sent him, you were formerly acquainted with him, having a Blood Curse, I find no other good Reaper than you." He paused then "So for the proposal, go to that world, capture him and return him to me."

"Heh" the woman replies, "What made you think this?". "He is far too untrustworthy now a days, he will ruin my business. In return, you will have the Soul Crucible, and a 500 millennia vacation, with you free to go to any world." Death said and releases a contract.
"Hmmm, I do love the vacation part... it's a deal." The woman replies and writes her signature on the contract, then it burns. "Its a pleasure doing business, I'm counting on you, Marie Scarlet." Death says before he disappears.

"Just you wait, Edge Crimson, I'm going to heal our broken hearts, let's go Scarlet." Her right eye is shown, it's iris was blood. She draws her blade, Bloody Mary, and engulfed her in a flashing flame, she heads for the world of Jurope...

Meanwhile... "She's coming" the voice in Edge's mind said. "Damn that pile of bones (Death), well, another bloody reunion, right in the middle of our plan..." Edge said...

With the money she entered a middle-ranked weapon store. (not poor not luxurious)
To the owner she said "Sorry for bothering you but I could use some guidance, I am not really knowledgeable when it comes to weapons. It's supposed to be a present for my partner, you see."

The weapon dealer coughed twice before lifting his head looking at Aedari. "Well, first of all, can you show me your identity card please?"

Deroc proposed the idea of a debt-free and interest-free currency along with plans to recover the northern lands, as well as a bunch of other stuffs--

"Sir," a slightly nervous Deldrach announced, "Extremists among the Ghee Hin Triad has revolted against us! There's more to tell,"

"What?!?!?" Deroc and all the other elites were shocked. "You must be kidding," Deroc said, "I am the undisputed leader of Ghee Hin and I am one of the descendants of Chin Ah Yam! They are supposed to be all loyal to me!"

"Apparently, the Space Force General has sacked thousands of our pilots after failing to chase a hijacked and repainted Fleenzub Fighter, and most of the angry commoners were suffering from major economic problems. They were furious at Solomon and the bankers, but you and Mistress Azlariah were also blamed for all the problems they were having. They even called for a genocide against elves, especially Flardyrn elves.

As a result, Eric Calderon, a former Space Force Architect, rallied the dissatisfied populations and launched a Putsch against us. We sent Peacekeepers and Riot Troopers but they were completely crushed. Companies of Light Infantries were dispatched to deal with the partisans, but these armed partisans were too powerful."

Deroc and Azlariah both snorted in exasperation. "Damn... these stupid partisans! We shall discipline these troublemakers and cleanse the Ghee Hin Triad of them!" the couple exclaimed in unison. "Deldrach, mobilize the Crimson Vindicators along with three of my-- our best elite battalions. I want these racist dissenters to be punished DEARLY!!!" a vexed Azlariah cried.
