[Roleplay] Flames of War

Although the shield proved impenetrable, the cyborg with the bomb reached the bomb point before the bombers bombed them. The crashing bombers managed to destroyed some of them "The mini-nuke has reached the bomb site!" An eerie voice echoed through the city.

"Huh?!?!"

The mini cyborg kamikazed near a building, demolishing the building. A purple scorpion's tail (aka purple brotherhood of nod symbol) was there. It opened and out come 2 zeppelins. It hovered before unleashing squadrons of V15 rockets all over the city.

The Pherithian anti-air units immediately responded by unleashing as many counter-projectiles as possible, to destroy any V15 rockets. "Shoot these damn rockets!"

"Unleash the gigabots!" Out came huge animatronics. Demoknights (an animatronic with a laser shield with a huge sword to cut puny enemies), Sergeant Krits (Huge animatronics with goddamn big rocket launchers which fires slow but devasting fel energized missiles. The only problem however was that they fire 3 rockets every 1 sec!) and Deff Dreads(A huge cyborg with a rocket launcher which fires slowly but fires 4 rockets at once from a single shot before a long reload).

The morale of Pherithians began to drop greatly as they witness the destructive powers of the gigabot. Nevertheless, they fighted on. "Emergency! Emergency! Release the Advanced Core Defenders!"

Advanced Core Defender: Incredibly tough armor (mithril and Alphanites enhanced by powerful magics), two great hand-obelisks that can level entire battalions by each arm firing 9 of devastating laser rays as searing as hell itself (or very cold!) every 1 second. Also armed with tons of missile launchers and tiny Obelisks of Darkness (the small Obelisks of Darkness can devastate enemy air armadas) and an impressively fast speed (320 km/h).

Deldrach's Voice: "Activating Defense Protocol, Defender, now!"

5 out of the 25 Advanced Core Defenders situating just outside of the Great Citadel Walls of Inner New Malacca rose up and began rushing flashing toward the frontline. All of 'em have arrived in the Frost Curtain a minute later, and peed barrages of laser rays and powerful rockets toward the cyborgs and animatronics, and they were being reduced into tiny, insignificant ashes for a few seconds.

The Cybranasaurus wasn't affected by melta bolts and turned to face the White Widows and teleported in a squadron of Mega terror drones and 5 Deff Dreads.

"Shit!"

The White Widows hopped away from any projectiles heading their way and attempted to jump into the Cybranasaurus' hole (if he's a male, the dick was eaten by the White Widows) and wreck havoc inside.

"Oh dear, they didn't bluff about legions of cyborgs" Gauge said and show a video of zepplins releasing squardons of V15 rockets.

"Is there any way to stop them?!?!?!"

The V15s were guided by a mind controlled slave and they dodged the rockets out of harm's way and guided into buildings, vehicles and anything enemy. Another wave of v15s guides into the frost curtain.
"We have unleashed spies!" A voice rug out
Before anyone knew anything drones were being electro sapped, battle mages were being backstabbed with felfire and poisoned titanium blades straight into their spines.
"Apologies.." Spy Animatronic 5
Several more pherith soldiers were backstabbed and oje got stabbed in the head, before the spies use their invis watches to get away.

"You are all weak! You are all maggots!"screamed the Deff Dreads as they approached the Frost curtain before unleashing barrages and one deff dread unloaded another mininuke and threw it at the frost curtain.
"You are nothing butta maggot!" Deff Dread 4

Several buildings inside the curtain blew up to reveal Deff Dreads and Sergeant Krits along with teleporters which starts teleporting in cyborgs or animatronics and rushed in. Several snipers were teleported in and due to their robotic nature. Aim fast and headshot anyone out in the open with their titanium plus tiberium coated bullets.
"I am a professional! You are all jokes!" Sniper 5

The Cybranasaurus' problem was that it was genderless and it stomped on the ground releasing tumors that will knock back incoming White Widows.

"Those zepplins were based off the United Reich rocket launch systems and the Kirovs structure..., this will be messy"

After travelling by foot for almost a week they arrived at the border of the Pherith Empire. However, they did not cross it. They quickly made a primitive camp with huts.[
Amber was fairly certain they had been noticed already as they had made no effort to prevent themselves from being seen. Amber would wait one day to see if Deroc would make contact so that they could speak beforehand. Otherwise she'd have to make some noise.
"Did you really warn Deroc about this?" Amber asked
"Yes, Aedari did! Though.. he did not believe Aedari.." Aedari replied with a sad undertone
Amber simply nodded thoughtfully as she sat with her bare legs crossed in meditating position.
After a second she added. "And did he accept the elven woman again?"
"Aedari don't know. He seemed to have forgiven her when Aedari left."
"Diplomacy seems unlikely then." Amber declared as she brought up a certain disc from pocked in her short white dress.
She looked at it for a few seconds before crushing it in her hand, she then burned the shattered parts to dust with holy flames.
"If we don't have this item they have no reason to further get involved with us after this. Question is if Deroc will trade his beloved for thousands of innocent lives.."

@Leo: Oops. forgot to say that your spies c-- the shield will remain there even if you assassinate the Battlemages. You need an insanely massive amount of energy to turn that off...

And you can't teleport something inside the Frost Curtain. Only allies may enter it freely.

However, Chaosy may help you. Amber or Aedari has just enough power to shatter it into pieces -- but it would cost them nearly all of their mana.
===================
Another wave of v15s guides into the frost curtain.
This proved to be futile and totally useless, as the Frost Curtain remained intact.

"We have unleashed spies!" A voice rug out
Before anyone knew anything drones were being electro sapped, battle mages were being backstabbed with felfire and poisoned titanium blades straight into their spines.

It would take a few more seconds to stab one Battlemage. Any Battlemages killed in that way would explode and destroy the Spy Animatronics together with the Battlemages.

"Apologies--" Spy Animatronic 5
Spy Animatronic 5 is killed in an arcane explosion because he just stabbed a Battlemage.

Several more Pherithian soldiers were backstabbed and oje got stabbed in the head, before the spies use their invis watches to get away.

Unfortunately, there were a few Sensor Arrays situating around the Frost Curtain outside but the three inside cover the sides of the Frost Curtain.

"You are all weak! You are all maggots!" screamed the Deff Dreads as they approached the Frost curtain before unleashing barrages and one deff dread unloaded another mininuke and threw it at the frost curtain.
"You are nothing butta maggot!" Deff Dread 4

The blast was only significant enough to create a few scratches on the surface of the Frost Curtain, and most of the destructive energies were reflected back to the assaulters, hopefully making them scream and cry like little butthurt babies, or at least deal some massive damage toward them. The death rays of the Iron Curtain field were also unleashed toward the attackers, constricting and burning them real hard (rain of Death Coils + Lava + Mental Omega 3.0 Iron Dragon projectile)

This turned out to be an illusion. To be honest, they found themselves stuck in a trap curtain. The trap curtain hardened itself and began glowing in crimson red. Suddenly, massive surges of burning arcane and death ray energies filled the interior of the trap sphere and anyone inside were caught within, constricting and burning them painfully.

"Die! Rest in eternal agony and torment, scums!" Deroc's dark voice echoed within the trap sphere.
Then several huge tentacles and scorpion tails of shadows emerged from the void and began constricting, hitting and burning the animatronics inside.

The Cybranasaurus' problem was that it was genderless and it stomped on the ground releasing tumors that will knock back incoming White Widows.

The massive shockwave resulted in all the White Widows being knocked to a place far, far away and eventually crashed on a mountain cliff. The landing was so powerful that the White Widows simply exploded into oblivion...

"Noooooo!!!"

"Those zepplins were based off the United Reich rocket launch systems and the Kirovs structure..., this will be messy"

"Shit... I have to, oh wait, spies could be listening to us. You know what am I going to do., right?" The Pherithian Animatronic, dressing in the elite suit of rogue animatronics, was once again sent to steal blueprints of the V15 Zeppelins along with other secrets he may find... (he started before the gate to the lab)

Meanwhile, several Jodl Animatronics were dispatched behind the frontline to annoy the Cybranasaurus and other cyborgs by objecting with a specialized supersonic -- besides inflicting damage by sonic waves, it can disturb the electronics and waves of the animatronics and cyborgs.

"Olah, Mein Failüre, shit ta, shit ta, shit ta, miss lanjiao penis!"
"Mein Failüre, I object to your plans to assault the Pherith Empire!"
"Mein Failüre, you are only wasting your bots fighting a lost war!"

The mini nuke only burned a little of the big robots who starts throwing mini-nukes like hell at the Frost Curtain.

The animatronics which were constricted with scorpion tails only perished as fire doesnt damage them.

The Cybranasaurus activates it's chronosphre devic and chronoshifts.

Right in the heart of New Malacca the ground broke and up came a Cybranasaurus with hundreds of animatronics armed with flare guns and bolters and the starts slaughtering.

Because of the Jodls, the chief cybrog got pissed(Karin)'
Karin: For f---'s sake shut up you bald headed as-holes! If you do not stop i will shove a beheaded elven head up your arse!"

"Warning,The animatronics are assualting Angle Forge!" Gauge's computer screamed.
"Damn Damn Damn Damn!" Gauge shouted
"I have to get to the Forge! It is where the majority of my battlions get their equipment from! Theres only a thousand troopers stationed there! Damn Damn!" Gauge was frantically screaming and clicking buttons.

More scratches appeared on the Frost Curtain, but still, not much damage was dealt to the Frost Curtain.

The Cybranasaurus activates it's Chronosphere device and chronoshifts.

"Yay! Finally! It's gone now!" Gayvin blissfully shouted in excitement, "Yahoo!" He was too excited to consider any conspiracies or tactics.

Right in the heart of New Malacca the ground broke and up came a Cybranasaurus with hundreds of animatronics armed with flare guns and bolters and the starts slaughtering.

Deroc: "Fuck!!!"
All forces stationing in New Malacca were rushing toward Inner New Malacca to defend it. The force is massive, crowded and varied -- thousands of squads of Light Infantries and Rocket Infantries, battalions of Plasma Cadres and Tick Tanks and other fancy vehicles (Mirage Tanks, Falcon Prism Hovercrafts, Arcane Vanguard, etc...).

Deroc faded out of sight as he weaved his wand anxiously. A few seconds later, "Deldrach, order some reserve forces to enter here! And prepare for unpacking of the Command Spacecraft, we have to flee if something bad happens!"

Under Deldrach's orders a few battalions (mostly Flardyrn and Ghee Hin, some Gazya Cakes too) were rushing into the hangar of the Command Spacecraft.

Because of the Jodls, the chief cybrog got pissed(Karin)'
Karin: For f---'s sake shut up you bald headed as-holes! If you do not stop i will shove a beheaded elven head up your arse!"
"Olah, Mein Failüre, I object to your rant! We won't stop until you destroy all your forces and commit suicide! I object to your very existence!"
"Mein Failüre, I object to your use of bad words!"
"Mein Failüre, your conquest will ultimately fail!"
"Olah, Mein Failüre, you sounded like a crazy old woman just now!"
"Mein Failüre, I object to your anger!"

Gayvin burst out laughing in amusement. His laughter can be heard around the entire battlefield.

"Warning,The animatronics are assaulting Angle Forge!" Gauge's computer screamed.
"Damn Damn Damn Damn!" Gauge shouted
"I have to get to the Forge! It is where the majority of my battlions get their equipment from! Theres only a thousand troopers stationed there! Damn Damn!" Gauge was frantically screaming and clicking buttons.

"What's happening?" Gayvin asked

The Cybranasaurus smiled and releaswd a huge torrent of fel flames at the incoming pherith infantry in order to burn them to ashes. And right into the bulk of the infantries and vehicles a squadron of V15s flew into them and blew up. Now the skies were filled with Zepplins whih were releasing waves after waves of V15.
General Loqin was in the main zepplin and was laughing and smoking.
"After we kill all those pheriths we will turj them into cyborgs! We fight fire with fire! Those organic bastards with orgainc.. well.. half organic ones."

"One of our top weapon facility on this planet is being attacked by those bastard animatronics!" Guage screamed.

Karin "Why you damn bald hea.. wait... something is wrong.. i never had bald headed animatronics in my blueprints(looks supsicioulsy at the Jodl animatronics) Explain it!"

"I spent so much funds and minerals building these battalions, and nearly all of them were gone all of a sudden..." Gayvin complained and sighed with a tone of frustration.

"After we kill all those pheriths we will turn them into cyborgs! We fight fire with fire! Those organic bastards with organic.. well.. half organic ones."

"EM Pulse!" The eight EMP Cannons in Gayvin's base began firing toward the clusters of zeppelins, hopefully the EM Pulse can deactivate and crash the zeppelins, as well as stunning these land cyborgs for a good while.

"One of our top weapon facility on this planet is being attacked by those bastard animatronics!" Guage screamed.
"So, shall we retreat or go along with you?" Gayvin asked

Jodl Animatronic #1: "Olah, Mein Failüre, I object to your absent-mindedness!"
"Mein Failüre, I object to your demand!"
"Mein Failüre, did you lost your brain somewhere in the jungle?"
"Mein Failüre, we won't stop unless you kill off the rest of your toys and commit suicide!"
"Mein Failüre, we are here to advise (object) and help (interrupt) you!"

Amber stared into the distance as she considered her options now that Deroc hadn't made any effort to negotiate. She was fairly certain they would have been spotted so it seemed odd to her.

After a few minutes of thinking she commanded Azele to order the army to start marching. The journey would be a very slow one as the troops burned every tree and plant in sight.
"We'll draw the army out of the cities, that way the innocent wont be involved."

No?
I thought Loqin was in the other side of the world?
===================
The local Pherithians have been alerted by the burning of plants there. And screeching sirens were heard from a distance. "Stop and identify yourselves in the name of Cakemaster Deroc!"

A few Mirage Tanks were being damaged by the flames in the process, and this broke their disguise as trees. The Mirage Tanks were provoked and began firing at the Genesis troops who were burning the forests.

Several more Tick Tanks, Stryker IFVs, Light Infantries, Rocket Infantries and Plasma Cadres arrived and encircled the Genesis troops, aiming their weapons with an aura of menace. In addition, a few Battlemages were also hiding in the nearby woods.

The Falcon Prism Hovercrafts hiding behind the cliffs went crazy firing their roasting rays toward the crowds of zombie-elves, which then diffracted toward other zombie-elves nearby (secondary beams, which hurt more than primary beam).

"Hey, identify yourselves, filthy zombies! You have twenty seconds to resp-- Hey, what are you assholes doing, fatherfuckers?!?! Do you know what we are?!?! We are the Pherith Empire, the greatest faction ever existed in the Multiverse! We are the proud children of Deroc!" The furious (loud)speaker paused for a while and continued, "Report to Deroc and Deldrach immediately!"

While three specialized Fleenzub Bombers, painted in black and orange instead of the usual white and cyan, flew by slowly (as slow as the oldest airplanes around the real-life 1900s) and dropped a rain of plasma napalms at the clusters of zombie-elves, which would then burst out epic, flammable explosions of plasma energy (the flames spread very fast), hopefully eradicating them all at once. Though some accidental friendly casualties could not be prevented.

"Fine! We're Genesis, we've come for blood like we warned Deroc we would." Amber shouted which was clearly heard due the otherwise dead silent army she commanded.
Otherwise she stood calmed as she watched the destruction of the land with a slightly displeased expression.

Getting rid of all the zombie-like elves would be to ask for too much as the whole army consisted of them.
Though the attack proved very effective and kill dozens of the elves.

Aedari looked up into the air, she grinned as she focused on one of them giving it her full attention. She then tried to manipulate the one controlling it locking his movements and thus making the vehicle crash sooner or later.

"So, are you zombies and demons going to invade us and slaughter our citizens?!?! No way!!! Leave our land and never return, or we shall banish you in the name of Deroc!"

Deldrach's voice was then heard clearly in the region. "Ah, Linnea. What brings you here? What do you want? By the way, Deroc would like to have a serious talk with you, (awaiting response)"

Aedari looked up into the air, she grinned as she focused on one of them giving it her full attention. She then tried to manipulate the one controlling it locking his movements and thus making the vehicle crash sooner or later.
The pilot was successfully being frozen. However, voice command still worked and apparently, this spacecraft is specifically customized to personally communicate with Deldrach -- the Faceless cyborg mentat and assistant of the Pherith Empire.

Deldrach's Voice to Pilot: "Somebody, that very same girl we saw earlier, seemed to be practicing magics on you. I will coordinate the movements of the Bombers for now."

Aedari's position is pinged and signaled. Six Fleenzub Fighters blinked into the scene and blasted Aedari with their super-accurate plasmaballs. They are much faster and it would likely be difficult for Aedari to control any of the pilots.

"So, are you zombies and demons going to invade us and slaughter our citizens?!?! No way!!! Leave our land and never return, or we shall banish you in the name of Deroc!"
"Call us whatever you wish. Deroc knows what we want to be gone from his lands, it wont change. And don't kid yourself, your army is not here. Get your main force here and I might consider your 'threat' an.. threat. Or.. just give us what we want."

Deldrach's voice was then heard clearly in the region. "Ah, Linnea. What brings you here? What do you want? By the way, Deroc would like to have a serious talk with you, (awaiting response)"
"I think I recognize your voice.. not completely sure from where though. Regardless, there is not much to talk about at this point. I want something, he wont offer it nor trade it. I'll inform you that the disc is no more by the way. It meant nothing to us if we could not use it in a bargain-ship."

They are much faster and it would likely be difficult for Aedari to control any of the pilots.
"Guess that would be too easy.." Aedari mumbled as she noticed it would require at least the double amount of mana required to control them over such a distance. And doing it on multiple targets would not work either since she had to see her targets or be closer. Thus she saved her mana and just viewed the battle with jumping slightly with excitement.

Aedari's position is pinged and signaled. Six Fleenzub Fighters blinked into the scene and blasted Aedari with their super-accurate plasmaballs.
The assault would likely have been very effective unless a holy barrier appeared around Aedari as Amber almost casually extended her hand. The attack were completely nullified. Amber glared at the Fleenzub Fighters, considering to wipe them of the map but decided to hide her hand for a little longer. After all she was considered that Deroc might want a one on one fight to spare the lives of his soldiers. In which case showing too much would be a downside.

@Chaosy: Oh I did, didn't know that :D
=================

Arriving in a ground, Edge then hears sounds of battle nearby. "Oh, a battle" he said.
He walks to an overlook, seeing a massive army of dead warriors and aircrafts bombarding them. "No no, this won't do, these dead ones have no soul, and those aircrafts above are too high... hmmm" Edge thinks.

"Perhaps not the best place to collect some souls" He said after thinking. He takes a walk from the side of the battleground, seemingly enjoying looking at the planes which he recognizes when he was a living being. "Those bombers... ah, Fleenzub Bombers, oh I know a friend who owns a lot of them" he speaks to himself... or not really.

I'm gonna try to not :D
====================
A little farther now, Edge sensed a death-kind of power, "Is it just me, or is there another Reaper here" he talks to himself. Continuing, he saw the Dead Army's leader from an another overlook, the power of drawing from her. "Must be another Reaper, a good time for a deal" he said before sneaking through the dead army's sidepath.

"Call us whatever you wish. Deroc knows what we want to be gone from his lands, it wont change. And don't kid yourself, your army is not here. Get your main force here and I might consider your 'threat' an.. threat. Or.. just give us what we want."

"We don't know what you want from us."

Suddenly, a frustrated voice seemingly from Deroc responded, "Linnea, can't you stop all those dramas? I am not Yuri nor an omniscient god, tell us CLEARLY -- what do you want, and don't give us over-the-top demands!"

"I think I recognize your voice.. not completely sure from where though. Regardless, there is not much to talk about at this point. I want something, he wont offer it nor trade it. I'll inform you that the disc is no more by the way. It meant nothing to us if we could not use it in a bargain-ship."

Deroc's Furious Voice: "What!?!? You... DESTROYED the Archivum Data Disc?!?! You... You... Argh! We didn't talk or anything, and you assumed things?!?! And invaded our lands too?!?!"

"Linnea, how ungrateful are you! I regretted healing you in the first place! What do I get after treating you nicely? Betrayals, ransoms and countless troubles!"

"This so-called Genesis are 'Vipers', we as the 'Farmers' and 'Workers' should rise up and retaliate! A tooth for a tooth, an eye for an eye! Blood for blood!" As Deroc proclaimed, all the Pherithians heard his words and they cheered loudly in response, and prepared for war. He has decided to chase the invaders off the Pherithian lands, and he would not easily give up.

A few (stealthed) Snipers hiding nearby have fully prepared and unleashed the Rage Bullets toward Aedari. The Rage Bullets are as explosive as a napalm explosion enhanced with arcane and fel energies, and each bursted Rage Bullet shows a feverish middle-finger cloud burning with massive fel and arcane flames.

"Damn you, fake angel bitch!" Azlariah's voice was heard (though she's still off-screen). Clearly, the appearance of Amber along with the legions of ghouls has alerted all the Pherithian elites.

Meanwhile, thousands of Pherithian squads, ranging from the average Light Infantries and Rocket Infantries to the sophisticated Plasma Cadres and Flardyrn Pulverizers (a type of elven siege infantry that's much powerful than Plasma Cadres but somewhat lesser than Vindicators) to the elite commandos of Pherith Empire......

as well as hundreds of battalions of war vehicles, mostly Tick Tanks, Stryker IFVs and Mirage Tanks (disguising as trees and other environmental stuffs when not moving) rushed to the frontline. The Pherithians would conduct periodic airstrikes by some squadrons of Fleenzub combat spacecrafts, and there were also some Bombardment Defense Formations and Falcon Prism Hovercrafts hidden in the woods, mostly on the hills. A few Mirage Tanks would guard the Falcon Prism Hovercrafts, reducing any foes passing by into burning ashes before they realize what happened.

Using Edge's signature ability, the Flash Fire. he was able to sneak through the dead army. Each bombs thrown by the aircrafts serve as openings for Edge to sneak in, until he arrives at the very commanding woman (Sapphire)

"Greetings, dark one..." He said enigmaticly.

Suddenly, a frustrated voice seemingly from Deroc responded, "Linnea, can't you stop all those dramas? I am not Yuri nor an omniscient god, tell us CLEARLY -- what do you want, and don't give us over-the-top demands!"
Deroc's Furious Voice: "What!?!? You... DESTROYED the Archivum Data Disc?!?! You... You... Argh! We didn't talk or anything, and you assumed things?!?! And invaded our lands too?!?!"

"You've been informed about exactly what I want. Aedari reported to her master whom she can't lie to, I listened while she did so. You've been warned about the fact that I would come to claim it. You could prevent it and trade the disc for it, you just choose to not listen. My information is absolute, you're not fooling anyone."

"Linnea, how ungrateful are you! I regretted healing you in the first place! What do I get after treating you nicely? Betrayals, ransoms and countless troubles!"

"You quickly forget that the one whom injured me was your empire, healing me afterwards does not make you a savior it merely makes you neutral. We were attacked unprovoked by your army and you also quickly forgot that I was betrayed by Azlariah. She returned and attacked once more after our bargain that she would go away from us. Tell me again about how nice you've treated us?"

"I guess I made efforts in vain.. I thought you wanted to protect innocent lives, Deroc. Was that another lie of yours? How about you show yourself, if you defeat me this invasion will be canceled. On the other hand, if I defeat you I'll take what I came for then leave. At least some lives are spared that way - regardless of the outcome."
as well as hundreds of battalions of war vehicles, mostly Tick Tanks, Stryker IFVs and Mirage Tanks (disguising as trees and other environmental stuffs when not moving) rushed to the frontline.

The troops continued like before, the legions had no ranged weapons but bows which would be pointless to use against the metal creations.
Thus they continued to slowly progress forward as they burned as much as possible, not seeming to be bothered by their losses.
"Scary.." Amber mumbled as she looked at the pale elves suffered heavy losses. Not because of the fact that they died but because she knew that the loss meant nothing since they would be given new crafted bodies either way, Sapphire's army never grew any smaller only larger since the souls were simply put into new bodies.

"Greetings, dark one..." He said enigmaticly.
Sapphire looked behind herself. Her eyes narrowed: "You can see me...? only Amber should be able to right now."
Without another word she waved her hand before spreading her spectral wings and flew away from the battle at a fairly slow pace. She landed a few kilometers away from the battlefield as she waited for Edge to show up.

"You've been informed about exactly what I want. Aedari reported to her master whom she can't lie to, I listened while she did so. You've been warned about the fact that I would come to claim it. You could prevent it and trade the disc for it, you just choose to not listen. My information is absolute, you're not fooling anyone."

"Wait... wait a minute, I thought she was just lying? I don't really believe her, and I won't open risks for others to invade the Pherith Empire,"

Deroc sighed and replied, "Now, you've destroyed the disc and your pet Aedari caused tons of trouble for us. The deal's now over!"

"You quickly forget that the one who injured me was your empire, healing me afterwards does not make you a savior it merely makes you neutral. We were attacked unprovoked by your army and you also quickly forgot that I was betrayed by Azlariah. She returned and attacked once more after our bargain that she would go away from us. Tell me again about how nice you've treated us?"

"Okay, first of all, you could've died and your empire of demons might have been collapsed into chaos if I didn't save your little lives."

"And, I am NOT responsible about the assault! Azlariah was naughty and undisciplined, but it was not me! I'm innocent!"

"What!?!?" Azlariah shouted in a sudden. "I thought you forgave me?!?!"

"Err..." Deroc paused in silence, "Yes, but this was a real fact. It really happened in the past, because of your bloodlust."

"Deroc, you... I am speechless! Never mind, let's deal with this bitch first,"

"Azlariah, I'm glad that you are now able to behave yourself. Now, we should face that vengeful demoness together."

"Hmm... yes, I always wanted to take care of my people nicely. But I can't lose face and I must also consider nationalism!"

"Fine, let's start! All other Pherithian forces, pause your activities and await orders from Deldrach," Deroc screamed, and the Pherithians cheered for their Cakemaster and Emperor as soon as he finished his word. Deroc has some dirty tricks in mind...

Deldrach would hide a few of the fittest and smartest fiends -- the Faceless One Netherbringers, to assist Deroc and ambush Amber should Deroc be in disadvantage. And if Deroc won, he would rebuild and strengthen his militaries, and invade the Underworld (and maybe the Sanctum) when the time comes.

Deroc sighed and replied, "Now, you've destroyed the disc and your pet Aedari caused tons of trouble for us. The deal's now over!"
"In a way she was considerate. She abandoned her mission to kill you or Azlariah. I don't know how long she had to spend in the torture chamber for that but I recon at least one day. It's quite cute, in a way. I don't command her though, Sapphire does. Sapphire and I just happened to mutually benefit from Azlariah's death." As she spoke with a kind and low tone, she put her hand on Aedari's head scratched it slightly.
"And, I am NOT responsible about the assault! Azlariah was naughty and undisciplined, but it was not me! I'm innocent!"
"Indeed you are but you stand in the way between me and her. Or the troops you command do, rather."
"Fine, let's start! All other Pherithian forces, pause your activities and await orders from Deldrach,"
Amber looked towards a nearby Observer. "Tell Sapphire to make them spot until further notice."
As the Observers were essentially Sapphire's eyes they could easily communicate with her. Thus the troops suddenly stopped moving complete. They stood still like statues, they did not move backwards though. Clearly they did not want to lose momentum by backing of, if the battle would resume due some sinister tactic.

"I appreciate your decision." Amber said as she started to walk forward merely waiting for Deroc to appear somewhere and potentially attack her. Unless he wanted to make some formal ceremony first.

"I don't care who commands your girl, just don't disturb us, okay???"

"Sapphire and I just happened to mutually benefit from Azlariah's death." As she spoke with a kind and low tone, she put her hand on Aedari's head scratched it slightly.

"Well, how does her possible death benefit you all? Aside from wasting your energies and manpower? I don't understand," Deroc asked in a confused tone. "Are you here just to satisfy your bloodlust?"

"And, I am NOT responsible about the assault! Azlariah was naughty and undisciplined, but it was not me! I'm innocent!"

"Whatever you say, I am NOT responsible for the casualties but I feel sorry about it. Just leave us alone!"

Deroc has weaved his Staff of Supremacy blissfully. A spark of purple light then flashed on the pristine violet crystal. Unknown to all others, he was re-establishing his telepathic bonds with Deldrach, and it was a success. Afterwards, Deroc and Deldrach would begin to have a telepathic conversation.

Deroc (Telepathic): "Deldrach, order the factories to produce twelve battalions of Shadow Tanks and Stealth Tanks. Assemble all of them when they are all ready and move them here, but not too close. Tell them to stay positioned until things get worse."

Deldrach (Telepathic): "As you wish, Cakemaster."

"I appreciate your decision." Amber said as she started to walk forward merely waiting for Deroc to appear somewhere and potentially attack her. Unless he wanted to make some formal ceremony first.

Deroc rose his Staff of Supremacy with a great deal of confidence, and the pristine crystal once again glows in vibrant purple. "Let battle be joined!"

Several dark orbs rained down from the crystal. As soon as the shadowy spheres hit the earth, they exploded in puffs of pink smoke. Some (almost) perfect solid illusions clones appeared as the puffs faded away.

"I never act on bloodlust, I always act for the greater good believe it or not. Your dear Azlariah has acted incorrectly as you too admitted, and not once but multiple times. I do not know the details of how she betrayed you I just know that I happened. Killing her is required as I do not believe she'll change for the better. And no, I wont reconsider."

"You really like your illusions, huh.." Amber thought to herself as she stopped walking. Minor yellow lightning cracked at her feet as she waited.

Deroc snorted in a mixed feeling and continued, "Why are you so damn stubborn, Linnea? She will change, and we all know it. She apologized for her actions. Please, stop this mess NOW!"

Amber stopped walking. Minor yellow lightning cracked at her feet as she waited.
"If you insist, then so be it, Linnea! Leave this land and never return. If you do, we'll be waiting."

Some of the perfect illusions pulled their advanced rifles and aimed at Linnea(the rifles are painted in black, with some green glowing stripes), while others took out their Staffs of Supremacy. A hail of plasmaballs and arcaneballs of vibrant colors rained down upon Linnea, while blue sphere-ish shields became to form at the illusions protecting them from harm. The blue spheres are covered with a layer of frost.

"Love is blind, you cannot judge her objectively."

"I wonder.."
Amber as mumbled as the lightnings changed into multiple tendrils. But otherwise nothing happened, she stood there awaiting the impact. Her belief was that an illusion could not deal any damage, or at least too minor to bother. In fact, she belived that Deroic was still hiding in the shadows somewhere, wanting her to waste powers, and more importantly display them.

"No! I like but not love her, but I can see that she's trying to improve herself! Vengeance... is what makes us blind." Deroc spoke in a calm tone at first, with a subtle twist to a dark and throaty tone as soon as he muttered 'Vengeance'.

Too bad, these illusions were almost perfect copy of the real Deroc himself -- but with a slightly lesser power. The raining plasmaballs and stormbolts collided Amber, likely causing some significant (but not too big) explosions and ignite Amber in dark-green arcane flames.

She was right this time. Deroc is indeed hiding somewhere, however it would be difficult to notice him as he shrouded himself using multiple layers of stealths and shadows.

Amber didn't bother to answer this time as she thought either party would change their view on the situation.

To Amber's shock, a deep flesh wounds would appear as the spells hit her, making her take a step backward, almost falling. While she let out a scream due the pain, her expression remained calm. Some of the wounds almost went as deep as showing the bone.
The holy tendrils slowly moved upwards, clinging to her skin, then starting to caress the wounds which would be healed not many seconds later.
"That was unexpected.." she mumbled "Still, I refuse to believe that a spell that didn't instantly kill a undefended person would be a leader." she thought

Amber took a deep breath before exhaling, a few small golden shimmering birds flew out of it and started to fly around the area with great speed. Due the light they emitted, the energy would collide the Deroc's stealth magic and make a minor spark as they did so (if they get close enough to his location). Not breaking the spell, just confirming that conflicting magic was existing. While that was happening Amber also thought about how nullify the attacks from the illusions without showing too much about her tricks up her sleeve.

Perhaps there would be a end if people were more active.

WF and I could RP several pages per day but he kinda left us, so that ain't happening.
And the others are not active enough to do that.

Though this is nothing to live RP.
I have RPed for over 8 hours non-stop without leaving the computer once.
This is basically a rather casual place to RP.

As a side not, there is no goal with this RP thus it will never end. I think there was supposed to be an invasion event but that never happened. Maybe because Daffa went inactive.
As a change of pace I would rather have something else rather than this RP, it's too.. trite at this point. But I know that some people are against it, and in this small group that's enough to make it a no-no.

*requesting RP with a dedicated/active DM*

to me, a perfect RP is a RP without factions and where the DM is of most importance.
If person X is running through the woods to pick some mushroom for a poison, the DM may intervene and make a wild bear appear which you have to deal with.
This makes it that everything is not planned. And more importantly the only player interaction is not full out war, but maybe having to deal with a riot in your own city.

The no-faction part is highly subjective, but I don't see the point of it. The troops are quite pointless anyway, it's just the main characters that matter in the end.
Good example of this is the fight between me and Directive right now.
The DM part though, I don't see anyone being against that.

@Chaosy: Yes, but at times your characters were busy with things elsewhere and they could be useful at times.
=============================
How about introducing something like some sort of economy-system, more detailed map or something similar?

For example, if an economy center is ruined, the economy of the owner will drop greatly? We need to list any available resources and a map to locate any resource gathering points in Jupiter (Jupradus) as well as mountains, lakes or other stuffs. Make the spread of resources interesting and unique, so factions can wage war for a resource or a strategic location.

If X has a bad economy, it would be more painful for him/her to maintain their forces, slow down their projects, etc.

Also, the DM can randomly make an unexpected natural disaster occasionally (but not too often) to some key locations.

(I'm not good at thinking about attack ideas or writing actions)

Six out of the nine illusions continued their firing rampage to Amber, the other three paused to everyone's surprise. A thunderous chant echoes from the trio as they rose their glowing Staffs of Supremacy, and three Derocs seemingly vanished into thin air. Six spheres of violet arcane flames appeared and began encircling Amber like crazy, forming a fiery and huge hexagram. A gigantic and thick shield materialized, trapping Amber within -- it's the Arcane Nanoswarm. It's just the right size, not huge enough to trap other Genesis troops and let Amber dodge assaults easier but yet not too confined.

The three Derocs, cloaked with an inferior stealth spell, turned out to be hiding within the woods, channeling the shield in a triangular position (three Deroc illusions form an equilateral triangle). Fortunately, Amber's holy aura could break their spells and moreover the three Derocs were located within the Arcane Nanoswarm.

Some of these birds flew over the one of the channeling illusions and made a big spark visible far away, effectively revealing his position (does it break the spell depends on Chaosy).

Another one of these birds was nearing the real Deroc and a spark was seen, outside of the Arcane Nanoswarm.

@Directive
Exactly, that's the kind of things the DM would try to achieve.
Another thing the DM could do, while the king is away (to lead the army, for example) a cult within the capital try to take over which may cause unexpected complications.
This is something that would always keep you on your toes.

Naturally this requires an active DM. But if done right, I think it takes RP to the next level.

Fortunately, Amber's holy aura could break their spells and moreover the three Derocs were located within the Arcane Nanoswarm.

The less-impressive cloak spell would not be canceled however the birds would easily detect by them. As Amber then stood in the Nanoswarm a bit confused about what kind of spell it was. She made the quick assumption that she needed to blow it up. She extended her hand as bright light emitted from it, then shooting forward in a very slim ray which focused on a single point in the shield, thinking that if one point shatters, the whole shield would follow. She had no doubt that the spell would be enough to break it, however she didn't like the fact that the entire spell could be an illusion thus she was just wasting power.
Though, even if that was the case she suspected that Deroc would have to spend even more mana to create so many illusions at once, and furthermore cast spell through the illusions themselves.
The if the ray pierced the shield it would go straight for the hiding three illusions, though it could only hit one of them, that one being hit would likely break the channeling.

Another one of these birds was nearing the real Deroc and a spark was seen, outside of the Arcane Nanoswarm.

Perhaps it would be a bit naive to assume anything when you worked with illusions, yet Amber would not risk missing Deroc. One of the tendrils quickly expanded to the size that it was almost one meter thick, and dug through the ground like a worm at quick pace, it then appeared beneath Deroc, trying to impale him as it flew upwards. While it might not have lethal force, it would certainly be enough to disrupt his concentration and thus cancel a few of his spells, also a broken rib or two would also be likely unless he wore armor.

However, the shield could only be cancelled by killing all three channeling illusions, making her attempt in vain. Upon colliding with the Arcane Nanoswarm, the ray was reflected back to Amber's direction.

(The other six illusions kept firing at Amber like no tomorrow.)

Alternately, if Amber has the ability and some extra health, she may fire an explosion of holy antiprotons toward the Arcane Nanoswarm, resulting in a chain reaction -- the shield would collapse and everything inside would take great amount of damage. Amber would not likely do this, since she would be really badly crippled while Deroc himself wouldn't be taking the slightest of scratches.

However, a pair of footprint suddenly appeared, a bit further from the tendril, as a stomping voice was heard...

The illusions have decreased armor and damage as the real Deroc was distracted for a moment, however it would not interrupt the channeling of the Arcane Nanoswarm. It only made all illusions inside somewhat weaker and easier to deal with.

The result did not take Amber by too much of a surprise. She found it illogical that a shield would be impossible to break from the inside, yet expecting the unexpected was the key to most mage battles. Thus she caught her own spell in her hand, redirected it towards the ground making a deep hold in the ground but more importantly making dirt and dust fly into the air due the impact, creating a few second long smoke screen.
While under cover she cast a few weak protective enchantments on her stomach and chest.

Afterward she just waited for the bombardment she had been ignoring up until now, but the incoming spells were not many meters away and more were on it's way behind the first ones.

Amber decided to take the hit head on once more however, she tried to make a few of the later spells miss by stepping to the side. Yet the overwhelming number of the spells struck her.
The tendrils around her easily healed the wounds this time around due the protective spell she cast earlier.
By not attacking too much and taking hits she hoped to lure Deroc closer by seeming a bit weak and defenseless.
Though that might not work if Deroc figured out that the birds kept track of his location and thus it would perhaps be a tad foolish to do so.
In the end it was the best way to save mana as well, since it seemed like Deroc certainly wasn't saving his by the look at how many spells he cast.

The illusions have decreased armor and damage as the real Deroc was distracted for a moment, however it would not interrupt the channeling of the Arcane Nanoswarm. It only made all illusions inside somewhat weaker and easier to deal with.

Amber would not strive to kill the illusions, even in the weakened state. By keeping them 'alive' Deroc would have a bit of his attention on them at all times, which meant that he'd have a bit of a harder time defending himself. Not to mention the mana consumption.
To do that though, she had to know where Deroc was. As he revealed himself openly, Amber made sure to make the small birds follow him and carefully keep track of him, until Amber decided to make another attack towards him.
Meanwhile the large tendril withdrew, crawling back to amber almost like a snake to it's lair. (down through the ground since it can't pass through the shield)

The six illusions were distracted and slightly irritated by the dirt smoke, buy time for Amber to escape, heal or whatever. (but still she cannot leave the Arcane Nanoswarm)

Amber decided to take the hit head on once more however, she tried to make a few of the later spells miss by stepping to the side. Yet the overwhelming number of the spells struck her.
The tendrils around her easily healed the wounds this time around due the protective spell she cast earlier.
By this time, the six illusions recovered and began running around searching for Amber.

By not attacking too much and taking hits she hoped to lure Deroc closer by seeming a bit weak and defenseless. "Sigh. What a weak and pitiful little angel..." Deroc whispered. He then thought, <Linnea, I can't believe it. Your acting skills are one of the worst I have ever seen in my life.>

Telepathic Deroc: <Deldrach, are the stealth battalions ready?>
<Almost, Cakemaster. Would you like to get them moving as soon as they are finished?>
<Of course! But not too close, and avoid any golden birds that bitch sent until arriving at their positions. Tell them to scatter when they arrive, to prevent that bitch from seeing 'em.>
<As you wish, master.>

Though that might not work if Deroc figured out that the birds kept track of his location and thus it would perhaps be a tad foolish to do so.
In the end it was the best way to save mana as well, since it seemed like Deroc certainly wasn't saving his by the look at how many spells he cast.

All of a sudden, several stones have fallen from the skies above, heading for the birds as if they were sexy chicks. The rocks seemed to have a level of consciousness.

Amber would not strive to kill the illusions, even in the weakened state. By keeping them 'alive' Deroc would have a bit of his attention on them at all times, which meant that he'd have a bit of a harder time defending himself. Not to mention the mana consumption.

It took quite a long time for the six illusions to locate her. One of the illusions spotted Amber, but he laid an ambush behind a few rock chunks, not too close to nor far away from Amber. All of a sudden, the hiding illusion unleashed a continuous barrage of concentrated plasmaballs toward Amber's back probably catching her by surprise.

The five others were alerted and quickly moved toward Amber's location, though two of them laid other ambushes elsewhere while building up their ray of continuous barrages of powerful plasmaballs.

(Roll a Dice to determine if Amber would be ambushed: odd numbers means... SURPRISE!!!, while even numbers means safe. If Amber manage to defeat the three other illusions then the two hiding illusions would grow bored and approach Amber)

Amber made sure to make the small birds follow Deroc and carefully keep track of him. A few suspicious round-shaped shadows could be seen by the birds. Some medium rocks was following them all along levitating above the birds, waiting for the time to kill the birds.
