The other reborn replies, "Yes. The knowledge within the disc can be used to improve and upgrade our technology, and be utilized for military and scientific usage. However, we will have to use a sophisticated device to decode and analyze the encrypted contents."
"And where can I find such a device? Deroc got it?" 'Sapphire' asked with a piercing gaze focused towards the reborn.

"This, is a segment of the Tacitus. Like the Archivum Data Disc, this fractured orb is an ancient and extraterrestrial data matrix. It contains secrets of the cosmos, concentrated magical powers and data about an alien force known as the Scrin. The orb has not reached its highest potential and its data stored within are difficult to translate, since they are fragmented into shards.

"When all the shards and fragments are combined into a single, complete orb, we will have an intense concentration of powerful magical powers, as well as complete access to the encrypted data about highly advanced technology and history of the mysterious Scrin."

The other reborn coughs, and continues, "It is also a soul-prison for the leader of the Martian force that fought against the Scrin. There are still countless secrets stored within, waiting to be discovered and translated"

'Sapphire': "Which will make it completely useless for a while if not ever."

She threw it into the air where one of the Observers grabbed it with its feet and flew away with it. Most of the Observers present followed in case something would happen to the carrying one.

'Sapphire': "Bring the 'warlock' to Azele. He is to join the games against the Phantom to prove his worth."
Underworld Solider: "Yes, master."

The soliders bowed before escorting the reborn away.
So only 'Sapphire' and the reborn engineer (?) along with a few Observers remained.

___________________________

'Amber' continued her path forward, the large tendrils at her feet impaled those around her using their holy energy to pierce the metal of the Mechs.
Meanwhile, as Aedari noticed water did not work, she changed to fire instead. She made a quick sequence of throwing motions, as if throwing a apple. However fire appeared in her palm instead which were sent flying towards the Mech, using intense heat to melt the metal.

If the Drow wanted to join the battle, Leo's aircraft were on the run which perhaps made them vulnerable to surprise attacks from a third party.
Only a few mech remained on 'Amber's ship.
__________________________

Hours later, the Underworld Squad sent by 'Sapphire' would land on the deck as well.
Underworld Soldier: "My master requests your presence. She has something she believes you will find interesting."
'Amber': "I am not in a good mood. Give me details and I shall consider meeting her despite me disliking it."
Underworld Solider: "My master has gotten her hands on a former enemy with advanced knowledge. One of those whom you fought in Japan."
'Amber': "Do not remind me of those warmonglers. Deroc seemed rather reasonable but his subordinates were bloodthirsty brutes. However.."

A slim hope was lit in her mind as a certain thought occurred to her.

'Amber': "Give me the coordinates, we'll use this ship to get there. Let's just hope it doesn't crash halfway.

_____________________________________-

Yet again, hours later.

'Amber' jumped down from the ship's edge using her one will to dampen her fall and land somewhat comfortably on the ground, though it did not look very graciously.
Aedari had already left to meet with Azele as they had some unfinished business apparently.

'Amber': "He is the one?"
'Sapphire': "Certainly."

Amber peered searchingly towards the reborn.

'Amber': "Do you know how to..-- actually, what do you want in return. You'd not help me for free, I know you too well sadly."
'Sapphire': "Just a favor in the future if you will."
'Amber': "Too vague. That favor could very well be along the lines of 'give me your kingdom'."
'Sapphire': "Clever bitch. One exception to our pact in exchange for this one."
'Amber': "I do not like you either. And no, the pact stands untouched."
'Sapphire': "Then you do not get the knowledge you desire to replace your wing with a mechanical one."

'Amber' glared angrily towards 'Sapphire'.

'Amber': "You are one of very few that I want to kill so badly.. no you're the only one."
'Sapphire': "I am honored. So do we have a deal?"
'Amber': "Once. Now hand him over."
'Sapphire': "Gladly."

Finally done lol.

*In the Pherith city... . Ed and Faelen draws close to a battlefield, as structures collapse in a dragon's wake. The brave Pherith Empire defenders engages at the dragon, though it rages quite fiercely, Ed decides to join the battle by siding with the Pheriths*

Princess, stay back. This will get rough, I'll be going there "Ed said"
Faelen replied "I want to fight, I'll use my bow, please..."
"Very well, try to hit at the neck or the eye. Better make your shots sharp "Ed said"

*Ed instantly Blue Flash's in front of the defending Pheriths, and he said "Try not to hit me". And he Blue Flash's at the tail of the dragon, slowly but with balance, crawls towards the head*
*Meanwhile, Faelen shoots her arrows, with extreme precision, she hits the dragon from its neck, though it doesn't hurt the dragon much, she keeps firing nonetheless*

*While in Pelagea (Eastern-near Central Jurope)*

*Wayden and his expeditionary force bravely engages the unknown army. Highly at the disadvantage due to no uses for magic, Wayden nonetheless, uses Legrandus, a blade he carried. Sublimating the
mysterious force's soldiers. As pressure goes, Wayden decides to retreat at a nearby structure... "They got us outnumbered here, retreat to that structure, go!"He shouted".

*The events happened at the same time... King Warden, Lord Estly and their escorts arrived at the House Verdunt's stronghold capital... Glacial Verdant. Suspicious was Lord Estly, having the less
trust of the House he is in... while the King continues without fear. They meet up with him... Lord Verdunt, to a suprise, the Magister was also attending in the wedding.

Warden: Magister... I did not think you would come...
Magister: Apologies your grace, but Lord Verdunt insisted me to,
Lord Verdunt: Ah, the Magister have serve us well, your grace, so he deserves to attend to a moment for my son and House Corova's daughter

*Then joined the conversation was Lord Corova himself*

Lord Corova: Your grace, Lord Estly, welcome.
Lord Estly: Lord Corova... Lord Verdunt, shall we?
Lord Corova: This way your grace, your presence here is very much appreciated
Warden: It is what I do for my people,
Lord Verdunt: Your grace, if you want to, you'll be giving a speech to the people within the wedding hall, but would you want to?
Warden: Very well,
Lord Verdunt: Thank you, your grace, the wedding shall fully start by tomorrow, for now, we'll be giving you rest at our home.
Lord Estly: Hmm......

*Lord Estly thinks of something suspicious with the House of Verdunt and Corova. Decided to tell the King, King Warden did not matter on what is to happen. Making sure things would not go wrong,
Lord Estly sends out a raven towards Hailport, the Blue Fortress and Geneva City. Telling them to withdraw back to Hailport. He also persuaded the King to withdraw his troops as well, including
Prince Wayden's... but King Warden only withdraws his troops from the Blue Fortress. Thinking that Lord Estly's suspicioun towards the other two houses would be correct... A dark time shall come
in Legranda...*

"And where can I find such a device? Deroc got it?" 'Sapphire' asked with a piercing gaze focused towards the reborn.

"Yes, Deroc indeed has one of these devices capable of translating the disc. He's Deldrach, the Faceless Cyborg, with a supermind capable of performing trillions of calculations and thinkings in a millisecond."

Azlariah let out a sigh of further disappointment. "Look, that idiot has even revealed your identity to Linnea."

Deldrach: "Well, this idiot has spoiled our plan, milady. And it's only a matter of time, before Linnea comes again..." Deldrach stops for awhile, then continues, "Why did Deroc cure her wounds and release her in the first place? See what happens now."

==========
'Sapphire': "Which will make it completely useless for a while if not ever."

Karogen giggles, but he tries very hard to surpress it. <She didn't know that Deldrach can translate a fragmented piece of the Tacitus. What a fool is she...>

She threw it into the air where one of the Observers grabbed it with its feet and flew away with it. Most of the Observers present followed in case something would happen to the carrying one.

As soon as the Observers are a bit further from Sapphire and the Crash Site, several Fleenzub Fighters show up and ambush the other Observers by shooting plasma beams at them. If the carrying Observer is not flying above the sea, then some of the Fighters will also engage the carrying one.

'Sapphire': "Bring the 'warlock' to Azele. He is to join the games against the Phantom to prove his worth."
Underworld Solider: "Yes, master."

Azlariah: "What? Games against the Phantom?"
Deldrach: "Indeed something is strange. Very strange."

The soliders bowed before escorting the reborn away.
So only 'Sapphire' and the reborn engineer (?) along with a few Observers remained.

More and more Shadow Tanks silently positioned themselves in the dark, waiting to ambush 'Sapphire' and her remaining minions. They are usually unnoticable to naked eyes as each of them has a magitech cloaking device installed.

Yet again, hours later. Azlariah fell asleep after hours of boredom staring at her laptop screen... so she didn't get to listen and see what happened afterwards.

'Sapphire': "Clever bitch. One exception to our pact in exchange for this one."

As soon as Azlariah's sensitive elven ears hear the word 'bitch' and 'pact', she wakes up and concentrated observing them.

"Finally, you have awaken milady. Looks like Linnea and the blue angel are different beings. Let's watch..."

"W-what?! Linnea... and the other blue angel... are entirely different people?!

"So this one of the secrets Linnea has been trying to hide from us. She's nothing but a pitiful subordinate to the blue angel."

'Amber': "I do not like you either. And no, the pact stands."
'Sapphire': "Then you do not get the knowledge you desire to replace your wing with a mechanical one."

Azlariah (off-site): "Wing... wing... I am sure I feel something about this word... ah yes, Linnea lost one of her wings after she tried to commit suicide."

She continues, "Wait, looks like they are of equal positions..."

Azlariah (off-site): "Hey, what are they gonna do with him?"

Azlariah dispatches a few small flying scout drones to track 'Amber' from a distance.

Dyffros: "Finally! We have other friends to aid us here now! We Pherithians are grateful of your help!"

"Princess, stay back. This will get rough, I'll be going there", Ed said
Faelen replied "I want to fight, I'll use my bow, please..."
"Very well, try to hit at the neck or the eye. Better make your shots sharp" Ed said

Ed instantly Blue Flash's in front of the defending Pheriths, and he said "Try not to hit me".

Dyffros: "Homies, they're our friends here helping us, and try to avoid any friendly fire."

And he Blue Flash's at the tail of the dragon, slowly but with balance, crawls towards the head

Dyffros joins by hopping towards the dragon's head and delivers a powerful kick to its left eye. Afterwards he unleashes a barrage of deadly plasma beams at the dragon's back.

*Meanwhile, Faelen shoots her arrows, with extreme precision, she hits the dragon from its neck, though it doesn't hurt the dragon much, she keeps firing nonetheless*

The other Pherithian military units aim their weapons and begin opening fire at the dragon. The commoners grab some Flak Guns and shoots fragmented flak cannonballs towards the dragon

The Base at denmark is finally constructed. Summonings are done with rapid speed to enable to assemble battlions of demons. The north gate opened and led out a blue 2 headed creature with spikes(Helhound crossed with felbeast) with tentacles. 3 more appeared and quickly adapted to the surroundings before storming off.

The felhounds are scouting. AND the meches are done. And can you direct me to a Phantom Alliance wizard, Daffa?

"Very well. Seems like I will have to pay those two a visit when an opportunity arises."

As soon as the Observers are a bit further from Sapphire and the Crash Site, several Fleenzub Fighters show up and ambush the other Observers by shooting plasma beams at them. If the carrying Observer is not flying above the sea, then some of the Fighters will also engage the carrying one.
The Observers would prove very hard to kill, they did not have any combat power however they were exceptionally good at avoiding damage by being insanely quick and agile, allowing them to travel with great speed and flying in advanced patterns. A few inevitably died but it would not matter a lot as they would be out of range shortly. The death of the Observers notified 'Sapphire' though.
'Sapphire': "Your former allies seem to be on your trail. A bit unfortunate but I can deal with it if need be, at least when 'Amber' arrive."

More and more Shadow Tanks silently positioned themselves in the dark, waiting to ambush 'Sapphire' and her remaining minions. They are usually unnoticable to naked eyes as each of them has a magitech cloaking device installed.
'Sapphire' would not notice them indeed. She could feel dying or dead beings, not living ones, nor mech.

Azlariah dispatches a few small flying scout drones to track 'Amber' from a distance.
As Mech units are not living, 'Amber' could not feel their presence either. It was a fairly efficient counter. Her ship landed so that she could jump onto to deck, the reborn following her whether he wanted to or not as 'Sapphire's words were law among those of the Underworld. The Ship headed for North Jurope, but on their way there 'Amber' leaned against the ship's fence. "Do you know how to do do what she said? Creating a mechanical wing for me? I think the material I am looking for is plasma, though I have no knowledge about such things in general." she asked with a calm tone and kind tone. After all she was not like 'Sapphire'. And since it was not someone from the Underworld, the reborn could answer freely and was no longer bound to answer truthfully - or at all. His will was fully his own at the moment.

Damn.. my base cant be destroyed! To battlestations. Or just cross by south of Denmark so i would not notice or then i will bring 5 S.Ss against u.

A few inevitably died but it would not matter a lot as they would be out of range shortly.

Azlariah was shocked. She couldn't believe that the Observers were able to evade the plasma beams with ease.

Exasperated, Azlariah ordered the Fleenzub Fighters to speed up and use multi-seeking plasma beams to engage with the Observers instead.

'Sapphire' would not notice the Shadow Tanks indeed. She could feel dying or dead beings, not living ones, nor mech. A few battalions of Shadow Tanks uncloak themselves and engaged 'Sapphire' with green dissolving beams. In addition, some Fleenzub Fighters appear in the blink of an eye, and blast 'Sapphire' with powerful plasma projectiles.

Some of these drones silently attract themselves in the ship's interior, to save energy.

"Yes, but you'll have to go through a surgery, and for the mechanical wing to work properly, you'll also need some cybernetic implants.

"And yes, plasma is required to power your mechanical wing. However, plasma is not a material, it is a form of energy. To make a mechanical wing, we'll also need materials like plastic, Alphanites and so on."

The reborn engineer looks around, and says with a smile, "By the way, you are kind and friendly. As nice as our beloved Cakemaster Deroc."

Exasperated, Azlariah ordered the Fleenzub Fighters to speed up and use multi-seeking plasma beams to engage with the Observers instead.
As it proved way more difficult to dodge quite a few of the vulnerable Observers were shot down. However they grouped up for a second then spread out quite a bit and headed in different direction. Which one carried the item would be very difficult to tell. Even if they figured it out, it would give the Observer quite the distance lead due the time delay.

A few battalions of Shadow Tanks uncloak themselves and engaged 'Sapphire' with green dissolving beams. In addition, some Fleenzub Fighters appear in the blink of an eye, and blast 'Sapphire' with powerful plasma projectiles.

'Sapphire' simply grabbed the elf and put him in front of her as a meat shield once she heard movement. She was not exactly the combat type, facing mech made it even worse as they had no souls so she could not even use that advantage.

"Sounds unpleasant. Though I'd be willing to do it. Can you create these 'implants' as well or do I need to get them from somewhere?" 'Amber' asked as she nodded slowly. She didn't care about the science stuff so she didn't bother to try to understand it.
She smiled slightly upon hearing his praise. "I like Deroc, judging by what I've seen by him so far. Sadly his subordinates seems way less friendly. Not so pleasant in the Underworld, though huh? I try to avoid the place as much as possible myself. What were you called before being reborn there?"
(awaiting drama reaction after saying that LOL)

You answered the question. Dw.
Leo, I wont be close to Denmark then. Luckily, I do not want to fight with 'Amber' alone :-/
Not to mention that she'd not win even with her OP powers due the ship being damaged.

edit: edited post a bit.

While the capital continued their hunt for the remaining assassins...
Emperor Yhwach : "Jugram, call that pale girl. Tell her that we will have our first gladiator battle today, prepare the facilities."
Jugram Haschwalth : "Yes, Your Highness."

Meanwhile, the situation at the battle worsen.
'Ice' : "I want them to eat the freeze, so here goes... Ice Bolt Hail!"
A hail of Ice bolts appeared from the clouds above, heading to every Pheritians.
'Petal' : "Let's end this!"
'Princess' : "Okay, Dance : White Snow!"
The area chilled as 'Princess' release her technique.
'Apprentice' : "Seriously!?"
'Princess' : "It has to be this way."
'Petal' blinked behind Dyffros and summons a sword to his hand, the blade then swinged toward Dyffros.

Wayden's forces suddenly surprised with half of the buildings are cut into two pieces and destroyed as they impact with each other, as 'Killer' releases his powers to the area.
'Killer' : "Come out now, hiding won't be fun."

Meanwhile, 'Manipulator' forces almost reached the north Jurope, he entered territories near Denmark (south route) and sees Leo's base. He quickly give a signal to his men, then look at the base.
'Manipulator' : "I would like to see a good explosion from this, let's start."

Jugram called Azele through his scroll.
Jugram : "Would you mind coming to the arena? Highness stated that today will be the first day for our 'friendly' competition."

If you notice I failed to react to your actions, inform me so I can reply. The amount of new posts is astounding and I'm quite loss, help D:

I love how you said 'friendly' xD
Will 'Ice' be in the games by the way? Could be interesting to let Azele meet her.

'Azele': "Might be good to send a guide or two so that we do not get lost. Maybe it will make the citizen feel at ease when we come marching through the streets too. One of our leaders will be present but will be a bit delayed since she had to defend your border from an air assault on her own."

Meanwhile 'Amber' would let the reborn of at Sanctum and ordered the angels there to give him what he wanted as long as it made sense.
She then turned the ship around to head for Western Jurope to attend to the games.

Little did Manipulator knew the Mutant Felhounds were creeping from behind them and suddenly jumped upon them with their twin heads, tryig to bite them. The Shadowrisge were alerted and suddenly a wave of defenders fill the outer wall and starts firinb at Manipulalor and his troops while a drone hovered above and starts firing its gattling gun upon them.

@Chaosy, depends on wether Directive's troops will let him and his fellows escape.

Jugram : "Understood."

Two hours later, three soldiers from the alliance arrives. The soliders approach the guards.
Soldier #1 : "Greetings, we come here under The Highness' orders to guide your leader to our arena."

'Manipulator' takes out his blade.
'Manipulator' : "Shatter : Fake Presence."
The blade releases a shining light for a slight second before turning back to normal. 'Manipulator' then uses Flash Step to destroy the drone into pieces in a slight second.

With the upcoming Leo's forces approaching Phantom Alliance' base, the troops ate surprised with the presence of a Drow, or a stranger joining the war.
Captain #1 : "What's that 'thing'?"
Soldier #1 : "As long as 'it' havoc those demonic troops, it doesn't matter."

Meanwhile, Emperor Yhwach leaves to the arena.

"Thatwont be easy!!"The shadowridge commander shouted. S.S Gurh and several carriers fileed te sky. The carriers unleashed a huge amount of drones that rain down hell. 3 Shield Generators activate and cover the Shadowridge defenses and repelled the spells. (A shield generator has 4 warlocks channeling into a pedestal)

@Daffa: Sorry, but what about the Ice Dragon you summoned earlier?

As it proved way more difficult to dodge quite a few of the vulnerable Observers were shot down. However they grouped up for a second then spread out quite a bit and headed in different direction. Which one carried the item would be very difficult to tell. Even if they figured it out, it would give the Observer quite the distance lead due the time delay.

Nevertheless Azlariah just send in more Fleenzub Fighters to purse the observers, from various directions. The Fleenzub Fighters spread out quite a bit and they engage the closest Observers on sight.

'Sapphire' simply grabbed the elf and put him in front of her as a meat shield once she heard movement. She was not exactly the combat type, facing mech made it even worse as they had no souls so she could not even use that advantage.

"Nah, let that idiot die in the hands of that blue bitch. We don't care about a secret leaker." Azlariah coldly says.

Some other Shadow Tanks appear behind 'Sapphire's back and shoots green dissolving beam to her. A few Snipers hidden in bushes open fire towards 'Sapphire' from a distance. The bullets are designed to be poisonous, and so if hit 'Sapphire' will have a nasty time.

"Sounds unpleasant. Though I'd be willing to do it. Can you create these 'implants' as well or do I need to get them from somewhere?" 'Amber' asked as she nodded slowly. She didn't care about the science stuff so she didn't bother to try to understand it.

"Yes, but some of the components must be made using advanced devices in Pherithian factories."

"W-what? What do you mean, 'subordinates seems way less friendly'? Never mind it's not much of a big deal anyway. So, that evil place is called the Underworld, but how come it looks nothing like hell?" Apparently his perception of Underworld is widely different, perhaps due to the different culture of the planet he originated at.

The reborn engineer coughs. "I am Eric Calderon, one of the top engineers of Pherith."
******
Dyffros is momentarily distracted by the chilly weather caused by 'Princess'.

Dyffros quckly notices 'Petal's incoming blade and kicks the blade away. He hits 'Petal's stomach with his right knee and kicks his balls real hard. Afterwards he press 'Petal's nose at a sudden.

Nevertheless Azlariah just send in more Fleenzub Fighters to purse the observers, from various directions. The Fleenzub Fighters spread out quite a bit and they engage the closest Observers on sight.
The more space the Observers were given, the more complicated maneuvers they could do to dodge the shots. In combinations with flying behind objects in the environment they still fared fairly well without losing too much of their numbers. They would fly towards open water, which was a indirect threat. If the carrier died, the item would be dropped into the water and possibly damaged - or maybe not even found again.

'Sapphire': "Guess that would be too easy huh?"
She pushed the reborn away from her as she needed him alive when 'Amber' would arrive to make their bargain.
She was hit by all bullets aimed towards her. She gasped after air and fell forward, not moving an inch for several seconds. She then rose up several seconds later. "Death comes to all but me.." she mumbled to herself as she stood up once more. "Ancient one, crush these insects." she roared out as the ground started to tremble slightly. 'Sapphire's usually blue tone turned red as her voice changed to something much darker and had an slight echo. "Die!". 'Sapphire', or whoever it now was summoned a burning bolt in her palm which she threw. It was not an impressive visual as the bolt was small. However the fire proved to spread -very- quickly once it impacted so even if it missed. The environment would prove a fatal enemy for the attackers.

The reborn engineer coughs. "I am Eric Calderon, one of the top engineers of Pherith."
"Very well, Eric. I'll leave you at my city where you will be safe. Those there will get the items you require as long as they seem logical for the task at hand, do not abuse my hospitality."

Meanwhile, 'Manipulator' suddenly warps behind the walls of Shadowridge (for those who are confused, it's related to his blade's power, Fake Presence). He then reveals that all the guards inside already takes serious cut at several spots.

'Petal' revealed that he was not slightly injured, having his petals blocked the fatal blow. As he does so, the Ice Dragon, still in shape impacts the ground, creating a big ice pillar.
'Petal' : "This is unnerving. Let's get this over with. The-"
Suddenly, everything felt like it has stopped. A man suddenly appears and grabbed the four ('Apprentice','Petal','Ice' and 'Princess') then warps them away. The time then continues.

If the carrier died, the item would be dropped into the water and possibly damaged - or maybe not even found again.

Azlariah: "Damn cunning crows."

All the Fleenzub Fighters stopped firing, but they would continue following the Observers, in rapid speed. If the Observers returned to flying above the ground, the spacecrafts would open fire once again.

'Sapphire': "Guess that would be too easy huh?"
Azlariah's voice once again echoed, "Our glorious military and mighty technology can reduce you and your pathetic little minions into nothing but ashes, little bitch!"

She was hit by all bullets aimed towards her. She gasped after air and fell forward, not moving an inch for several seconds. The snipers would jump out and celebrate their supposed 'victory' over 'Sapphire' by dancing around like crazy.

Azlariah's Voice: "Well done, my dear snipers! That bitch is finally--"
'Sapphire' then rose up several seconds later. "W-what?! It can't be... our glorious technology would have annihilated that bitch into pieces!"

"Death comes to all but me.." she mumbled to herself as she stood up once more. "Ancient one, crush these insects." she roared out as the ground started to tremble slightly.

Azlariah's 'public' telepathic once again bombarded rhetoric craps towards 'Sapphire' as well as to all of her own troops there. "What insects? Did you mean yourself, little blue bitch? We are not insects, we are the glorious military of Pherith! We can easily eradicate you with our mighty technology! Don't forget that we are from other planets where civilizations are much more advanced than you primitives!"

'Sapphire's usually blue tone turned red as her voice changed to something much darker and had an slight echo. "Die!". Azlariah responded in a sarcastic tone, "Wow, I am very afraid!", and then restored to normal voice, "C'mon! 来啦来啦, 怕你啊?"

'Sapphire', or whoever it now was summoned a burning bolt in her palm which she threw. It was not an impressive visual as the bolt was small. However the fire proved to spread -very- quickly once it impacted so even if it missed. The environment would prove a fatal enemy for the attackers.

Upon witnessing the rapid-spreading wildfire, the snipers all freaked out. "Hey, don't embarrass me, little snipers!" Azlariah's fierce voice echoed.

The snipers would then restore to normal state, and while dodging the flames they continued shooting poisonous bullets towards Sapphire.

Azlariah would then dispatch around two dozens of helitacks (aka fire helicopters) from the crater base in an attempt to put out the spreading flames.

As Dyffros and the rest of the Pherithians there restored movement, they are surprised as the four ('Petal', 'Ice', 'Princess' and 'Apprentice') seemingly vanished into thin air.

Dyffros looks at the ice pillar. "Hmm... all Falcon Prism Hovercrafts attack this stupid ice pillar!"

All the Falcon Prism Hovercrafts there approach the ice pillar and release rays of roasting prism beams towards the pillar.

Nope.. u cant destroy a shield unless u kill the operators itself.. and do you even know that the drones are fast and agile and can easily evade those blasts unless u use some kind of spell taht summons a lot of projectiles

Of course you can destroy a shield. You just need to hit it with more force than the generator can generate.

Directive you've made this hard for me. Since you engaged before 'Amber' arrived I am forced to stay and fight else the other stuff I posted would not make sense.
And more importantly, neither of the characters 'can' die.

1) What? Sorry, but I didn't realize that it happened before 'Amber's arrival. Then, can I retcon it to Azlariah retreating? I'll edit that post ASAP

2) Okay, I understand. Should've just let your character go.

Correct (aka Fixed and Retconned) Post:
(Now that Scarlet Bitch would just retreat like a coward.)

Yeah. I got a post that is basically

Sapphire sends her troops in different directions
*directive engaged here*

*hours later 'Amber' arrive*

Anyway, let's go.

All the Fleenzub Fighters stopped firing, but they would continue following the Observers, in rapid speed. If the Observers returned to flying above the ground, the spacecrafts would open fire once again.
The Observers were not smart beings, they simply followed orders. So under normal circumstances the pursuers tactics would work very well against them as the Observers were just supposed to deliver the item. However, 'Sapphire' had not more or less taken direct control over these Observers due the importance of the item. As such the Observers just flew around in random patterns, which was a bit taunting. They did not need to rest, however the machines would need to refuel in due time, time was on their side.

Upon witnessing the rapid-spreading wildfire, the snipers all freaked out. Azlariah knew that she couldn't beat the flames, and so issued a retreat order to all of her forces there
In truth, 'Sapphire' was surprised. After the big talk they retreated? It made no sense to her, why bark if you don't bite? Not that she would complain, revealing the ancient ones' power was not something she preferred even if it caused much pain and suffering - which was enjoyable. With that said she let go of the power granted and slowly returned to her usual blue-spectral self. She had to remain and wait for 'Amber', and the troops could still be around. She kept a watchful eye on her surroundings.

'Amber's ship would have reached Azele's camp by now, however Azele had already headed for the arena. 'Amber' let her wing fade away as she headed towards the arena, pretending to be an average tourist by asking for directions.

Some of them have returned to the nearest Pherithian Starports, to refuel the lost plasma energies.

However, a few Fleenzub Fighters still remain to chase the Observers because Azlariah cannot afford to lose the second segment of the Tacitus. Those remaining Fighters blink into the midst of the Observer swarm and quickly scan for any Observer carrying piece of the Tacitus.

"I can't lose even a single little shard of the Tacitus... I need it for our secret plan, Deldrach..."

"Don't worry, milady. Soon, when we retrieved all the segments of the Tacitus, we will rule the Pherith Empire together!"

The Observers kept their distance a bit, not allowing the machines to get too close, preventing eventual methods to take it. But they could still be scanned so that the machines could find out which one carried it. The carrier suddenly dropped the segment, then catched it again a few centimeter further down. Just to remind them about what would happen if it were shot.

The Fleenzub Fighters remain 'calm', but marked the Observer with a laser printer.

"This is Fleenzub Eagle Sixty Nine, second segment of the Tacitus along with its carrier has been located. Request replenished Fighters," Afterwards the Fleenzub Fighter keeps sending the coordinates of the laser to a nearby Starport.

Random Pherithian Starport: "Roger, now dispatching additional Fighters to your position."

Some rested Fleenzub Fighters, now with their plasma fuels and ammos reloaded, take off and rush towards the swarm of Observers in the fastest speed as possible. It takes them only a minute or two to arrive in the middle of the swarm due to their unmatchable speed. And they will keep tracking the carrying Observer and do nothing harmful as long as it is still flying above the waters.

'Sapphire's voice could be heard from the crows, which one was uncertain. Maybe even all of them. "On a scale from one to ten, how much do you value this item? I'd say a ten, maybe a nine. I on the other hand.. two. I would not bear much grief upon losing it. I suggest a simple trade. You give me an item in return, it's very simple actually, even for your small brains."

The illithid have successfully infiltrated every nation and organisation on the planet. They have spies in every single city and town, which already puts them in a good position, especially since nobody has noticed them.Deep in The Underdark, the Elder Brain is already discussing the final steps of their invasion on the surface world. To them,it seems as if they are already victorius. The multiverse is in their grasp, and nothing can stop them from dominating it

'Sapphire': "The soul of the one named Deroc. Perhaps you know of him, he's supposed to be your leader or something after all."

____________

If the answer is no, the Observer with the item would simply dive downwards into the water effectively ruining its functionality. The Observer 'swimmed' downwards to make sure it would be down in the water for quite a while before anyone got their hands on it.

Azlariah: "Let me consider it... first, why would you need Deroc's soul for?"

One of the Fleenzub Fighters flies below the carrying Observer, to prevent the Tacitus segment from sinking into the water. They did it not because the Tacitus is sensitive to water, but to prevent it from sinking into the great depths of the sea. It will mean trouble and unnessesary expense for Azlariah to carry out a search activity in the depths of the ocean -- and it will surely delay her evil plans to dominate the Pherith Empire.
