Here's another one, in case you get in a tense solution or in a chasing scene....set this music to minimum volume and increase it's volume when the trouble gets closer.....

Hi all, sorry for not posting for awhile, been very very busy lately, school and such, got exams and that, trying to pass this year.. =/
Anyway, work has been going real slow, but i wudnt say it has died, after all its holidays soon(lots of time to work):p
But since that now i would be starting work on the gameplay(puzzles, and such) im getting kinda stuck without a door model :(

and to lordjhredmo, theres not too much to update really, i cant really progress without a door =/ im afraid untill i get 1 knowing exactly how it will work, (this has happend with so many things already) i might have to change a real lot of terrain, and other things.. cameras too.. lots and lots of stuff.. so yea.. =/

Just some news, my friend gold-panter has started modeling bit ago, hes making me a door :D he says it should be quite simple so hopefully all will go well!

so now, ive started working more on the 3rd floor, got a basic layout and such done, soooo yea :) any questions pls ask

Looks like it will be a fun and unique map. You should try to make it as suspensful and scary as iit can get on warcraft 3, with the proper ambient noises/music.

I'm really curious where you got the indoor tileset/models, since I could really use that in a map.. Or did you make it yourself?

and yes i have plenty of music and sound effects since you ask hehe, like gunshots, doors, footsteps, water effects, stormy stuff(for ambience) zombie noises, oh theres loads ^^

One look at the screenshots DROPPED MY F---ING JAW. This map is crazy. It's beyond crazy. No, it's UNF---KING BELIEVABLE. This is one of the greatest maps I've seen in a LONG ASS TIME. Is there going to be a 3rd person system, or what? That way you include roofs and not have it to be like a retarded birds-eye view kind of thing. Anyways... I'm hyped for this map, almost as much as I'm hyped for the beginning of the Zelda campaign (another in-progress map I know about). Keep up the EXCELLENT work!

The resident evil movies do not follow the story line correctly, it doesnt bother me too much as its still very similar, but the main things that bother me are

Just trying to keep this thread alive...
heres a bit of an update of how things are going here,
right! well from the biggest and longest part of this map, the terrain, well ive been doing a real lot of work lately, about half the residence is now complete, some more outside areas have been done, and now im just working on the cabin and some bits of the residence still.
Chainer seems to have done the shooting system and some other stuff quite well, just a few tweaking to go,
the camera system has had alot of work done to it too,
besides that i cant think of much stuff worth mensioning, theres still a lot of work to do really, most of that terrain, were still in need of a modeller willing to help out with some stuff :)

got any questions just ask!

(just enhanced) from the first map you made? 'Cause that one rocked, but I suspect this one will > it.

lmao, well to answer some of those questions, yes the gameplay and everything will be very similar to the original, obviosly there are going to be significant changes, like terrain, but trust me its for the best! :p

ill keep posting any updates i get ...

indeed modelers are almost extinct :( all i need is damn door lol, which opens ofcourse :)
im sure ill get one eventually lol, anyway.. ill post some new screenshots of the residence during the week
