Rep Power Increase

It would be extremely crazy to grant one rep power per 200 rep after 600.
How about it starts once more at 1600 and ends at 2500, while adding a power level every 300 points instead of 200?

I agree. I'd prefer it to remain this way or add another rep power limiting at 5 instead of 4 (even that would be too much). Anyway the current rep power is good enough tbh.

8 seems too much for a normal user. There is always some kind of responsibility not just to spread limitless reputations without any sense.

The more reputation points you can give at once the more could exist such an inequality in fairness, I belive.

So I'm in opinion the restriction of maximum 4 is already enough.

The maximum amount of 4 rep power is enough. Giving more values into rep only makes many users greedy for some reasons because they can spread it like it's nothing much most likely for users with higher reps which is equal to more rep to spread and such.

We have like 23 members (Users who disabled their reputation doesn't count) who have 1600+ reps some who are if not inactive are part of the moderating staff and to those few remaining might not even care about reputation anymore so I don't really see the point.

The reputation system is essentially flawed anyway and does, in many cases, not reflect anything. If the reputation could only be given for resource threads it would make much more sense. But it's kinda too late for that unfortunately.

If users give more rep, more needs to have more extended rep powers.
That would turn to total mess if we grant higher limit, I see some forums with 20+ rep powers users spreading reps to their friends like there's no end.
Adding 1 (thus make it 5) is fine in my opinion. But in the end the current is perfect.

I am fairly sure some of the older members (in terms of joining Hive) are pretty fixated on rep just as well as some newer members don't give a rat's ass about it.
