And yet again I find myself in need of cleaning my desktop....

Anyone knows how to get rid of the recycle bin?

In case anyone is curious how to in XP, you simply right click the desktop, go 'Arrange Icons By', 'Show Icons'. This also works for Windows 7, and I would assume Vista as well.http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/wind...estroy-the-recycle-bin-icon-in-windows-vista/
First it says for Vista and afterwards for Windows 7.

Urwaldbewohner, that's not even close to clean.
The first one is my main PC, the second is my laptop.
You laptop one is really cute! c:
Just pointing it out. Also XP can't get rid of Recycle bin as far as I'm aware.
I knew you could do it through modification of Windows or registry like that, but it's a hassle, and actually deletes it.
I prefer to use other adjectives. You laptop one is really cute! c:

Is that thing real?
I have my doubts.. anyone could Photoshop that![]()
Your laptop running Windows? If so, lol.I should screenshot my dwm desktop on my laptop. Essentially, it looks like this (only Arch instead of Ubuntu):
Desktop Window Manager I would assume. What is a DWM?![]()

Ahh, not as exciting as I thought. I've still never used Linux on any of my own computers, although I've always been tempted if for nothing else, the fact that you can actually get different desktops without a lot of hassle.Nah, dwm would just be the name of my window manager on Linux, and it stands for dynamic window manager. Also, my laptop dual boots Windows and Arch Linux, and that desktop would be from Arch.![]()
