Modeling Competition Ideas

This is probably an over-used idea but I say we create gladiators. Like:
It could be cool cuz we get to make our own armors and weapons but this is just an idea.

How is that restricting, prey tell. Its a theme just like elemental, forsaken is not restricting either its an entire race just needs a bit of imagination, if you find that restricting than i must say your really lacking in the imagination department, pah well atleast i tryed giving an idea thats useful instead of just quality thats just waiting to get into the next generation of dota maps.

Warcraft community can never be like what it used to be i guess, filled with inspiring map makers and worshipped modelers that came out with useful models that didn´t necessarily have to be perfect. Meeh but i am going offtopic since this is a competition thats all about quality right?, and i mean no offense with my post.

The chimera theme is more about the concept than the context. A chimera is pretty much an animal that is made up of multiple other animals, such as a centaur, a gryphon, etc.
And since it is a tie, it'll be up to whoever decides to host this (I might want to enter, so I might not be hosting)

examples: Corrupted Treant, Corrupted furbolg, Corrupted owlbear.

howbout "horror" theme. something really grotesque, evil or just creepy.
not "happy scary" like pumpkins or ghosts in white sheets in halloween.
i mean really scary. like flying dead bodies and people impaled on trees.
something like the TDR's pain elemental from the last competition.
