mini model contest #3, collecting ideas.

well we havent had one in a while. so.
start suggesting what you would want to see as a mini-model contest.

128 poly limit unit.

btw, i wont be participating so i can judge.

SUGGESTIONS
Tower
Zombie/undead
Weapon Set
Doodad Set
Summoned unit
Porjectile

Weapon set (sword, shield or other, must be a combination of 2 matching sets)

Mini doodad set (3-5 themed doodads, eg tree, rock, plant. Or themes of "water, Aztec, Draenei, gnoll etc)

I love the tower idea. Also might i suggest "spawn units" like the lavaspawn or the water elemental or the clockwork goblin etc.

How about a tower and a missile but both of them combined can't exceed 200 polies, and like 2 polies/ribbon or whatever.

Sooooo..... as soon as the paired model/texture contest judging/poll is over.... is it ok if i set up the minicontest? Or do you guys want the main contest first. And no, i really dont think we should have them at the same time.

.... I dont necessarily have to host either , but i do want to try out that new NEW system mr.bob and I talked about for the contest criteria.

I think we should do mini first. It would be good to try out the new system on a smaller contest just to make sure it works ok.

Plus, it would be nice to have a break after the mother of all contests we just had.

I'd like to have towers. They are easy to make and do not need excessive animations.
