I was woundering why there is no new modeling competition , dunno maybe Chriz forgot about modeling competitions Xd.

So could we start new? any suggestios or something?

My dream is Modeling competition with military vehicle sea, land .space or air.
Just suggestion

Warcraft Machinery would be nice. Not regular mechs/bots/tanks, but the machinery you see in Warcraft. You know, steam powered machines, lots of activity on goblin buildings, giant gears and gear wheels of whatever you call them.

A kind of "definitly quickly made by hand and doesn't look too solid" machinery.

I personally think an effect pack idea would be nice for a change, give those effect makers a chance too.

Though I think the timeframe would be much shorter than the normal contests.

A welcome diversion, I suspect.

I've been dying to create a few proper, decent explosions for a while now. Never had the inclination, though.

Effects pack, but not necessarily explosions only.

And possibly centered around a theme... like explosions.

And it has to be a pack, since one effect is rather small.


Sounds nice... Though that might just be because it was my idea at first anyway...

No, long effects (as in, not bursts) have their charm and their uses. They jsut have to be well done.

i Agree with supa , effects would be boring .Effect comp could be a separated one.
They both could go same time. Other solution is a poll Effects VS military which would help to decide.

Creep hero say, not creep unit. What I'm on about can possibly allow a whole set of new creeps altogether instead of 1 single "mega" unit to represent 1 group of creeps. Maybe a new set for a new terrain place, or outland creeps or such.

Me too. I say the compo be like this:
1. There is a poll where we vote for a certain creep race.
2. When the votes are counted participants must create a unit belonging to that race.
3. Beer for the winner.
