Map Development: The Scourging of Azeroth

Hey guys!! I was taking a break because school was almost over and finals were coming up. But school is over, so it is back to business!!
I am going to start working on the map right now again
 
@n0w3: Thank you! Keep coming back to check on the progress of the map :)
@Aztec_Devil2000: Sure! You can still help with terraining. Terraining (and other refining processes) will be saved till the end. So I will let you know when that time comes

you should get GameRanger. that is where Vahe and myself test the map and chat about the map! that way you would be connected to our mini-map team network :D
 
A simple googling of the term gameranger will give you the link, download is incredibly simple so shud be ez. Just download it, make an account, and bam you're ready. I'll go into more detail about how to use it when/if you get it.
 
@ImperialShadow: Are you sure? I am sure hotmail works. We should go on hive chat and maybe I can help you register yourself on GameRanger from there

Also, I think all of us testers should get on around the same time to test stuff. If we had 4, we could test Northrend and Northern EK
 
Okay, I will try and figure out something! 12 hour difference is quite unfortunate tho...haha

Yeah. I disconnect from b-net after about 45-60 minutes of gameplay (sometimes i get lucky and it lasts several hours). Also, I cannot host on b-net.
However, I rarely rarely disconnect in GameRanger and can host on GameRanger. so it is more practical.
It is very easy to download and use.
 
imperialshadow, mine is Silverfish423, so look me up. Also, is it Shadow_hunter or shadow_hunter? Cause I found one with a capital letter and one without a capital letter
 
It is still related to the project. This deals with testing the project, which will allow me, the head honcho :P, to complete my work better.
Although I do see where you are coming from.
I have a question for you all. For those of you have tested the map, you may have noticed that a special site is not located in every single region. Do you think there should be? Let me know what you think

So right now guys, I am adding a cinematic that is a mini-tutorial. It's pretty cool :) It briefly explains each race for each respective color and then gives a brief fly-over of the respective region of the races & world. I want it to feel epic :)
 
Oh yes, you showed me that before. And I was actually thinking of asking you to do one for SoA!
So yes, if you could make one for SoA, thatd be awesome!! :)
When we are on GameRanger at the same time, let's work on it :D
 
By special area for each region what you mean? A dungeon like thing? If that's the case id try and refrain from that, more dungeons means the map gets bigger, and we've went over what hapns when the map gets bigger.
 
Maybe! Yet, if I were to do this, I think I will have to include it in a later version. Scourging of Azeroth: Emerald Nightmare! (expansion pack) xD or soemthing like that.. right now, there is no room on the map for the Emerald Nightmare
 
The map has been updated once again!!
If you are going to test, I suggest testing Scourge, Drakkari Trolls, or Nerubians/Iron Empire. This is done by going to the 'Northrend' selection team. Other races are still playable, but the experience is better with these 2 races so far. You will know what I mean when you test
