What do you think really happened? and do you think the authorities could still find survivors?

Personally, I'm hoping for a Bermuda-Triangle-like incident but I guess that would be too farfetched so my second guess would be some kind of mechanical breakdown and not some terrorist attack.

It's pretty hard to speculate what has happened.
Let's just hope they can manage to save some victims.

There's a good chance this might have happen. Tons of oil spills were found after people reported that Flight 370 went missing.

Anyway, this is another mysterious case and a scary one, I was always thinking that the plane might have passed by at Bermuda Triangle (Devil's Triangle or which is known for the disappearance of many planes, ships and etc.

But it looks like they had a different route and not this one. So, it can either be some natural cases such as plane crashes, oil spill, out of gas, and etc.

Aliens and Bermuda Triangle are shit talks of this missing airplane. Logically speaking, Aliens aren't proven yet and Bermuda Triangle is at America Continent. Hijacking is possible since those items are shutdown manually. Especially the ACARS(?) which was shutdown after takeoff. The radar is also shutdown manually when it's gone at South China Sea.

It's pretty long since that time, there should be a big redevelopment. A lightning Strike is unlikely as the plane was missing in a good weather. We also have Satellite Technology, it shouldn't be THIS hard if it's just about fall to the sea on the moment when the last contact was made.

As a note, Malaysia Military discover an un-identified plane in Malaysia Area and heading to Malaka Strait.
Also the PING to the airplane. It last till 8:40 or so on the same day.

He's a supporter of a political opposition party.
There was a plunge effect on the plane which may indicate there was a struggle in the cockpit.

Still, I see these as wild speculations.

Heard that in the news as well. They were saying that since the cockpit door could not be opened from the outside, hijacking was less of a possibility and that the pilot was the one who did the whole thing. They even said that the pilot could be suicidal.

Signal have been found in India but India reported they had not seen anything.

Some people said the plane was shot down by us due to plane being low then the government couldn't tell which is why it took ~8 hours for them to report internationally after the missing signal. Our government is already very corrupted but I don't think its so corrupted until it shot its own plane.

The only theory I have left is hijacked.

I just can't get my head around that with any kind of terrorism or accident, nobody would have noticed anything. No phone calls from the plane, no messages, no radar, no emergency signal.
Whatever happened, the plane must have been destroyed immediately for that to happen.

So either was it an explosion on-board or the plane got shot down. Of course no country would admit the latter.

Or the countries are simply not releasing their records of the airspace coz they don't want people to realize how vulnerable their airspaces are (because they let an unknown plane to fly by)... or they actually got to take action and accidentally gunned it down, which they won't admit too.
