[Campaign] Kobold's Legacy

Kobold's Legacy - is Rogue-like project for Warcraft lll.
The project will be released as a campaign which will contain the Main Game and Game Modes.


Right now it's just at the phase of dungeon crawler mode named Underground Arena which brings a multitude of items, creatures, bosses and rooms. In the future it'll develop into a rogue-like dungeon run with randomly generated stages and content.

You have to play through whole Generations of
Kobolds! Each new run will be played for one
of the Kobold's sons from the previous run.

Someone seems to be inspired by the recent Hearthstone expansion :D

Looks dope, though :)

I don't like this one expansion at all, but Blizzards always 'help' me with templates to my projects :D
There aren't a lot of kobold stuff in the internet thought.


Meanwhile I am just stuck on trying to figure out how you made those icons appear that way. I had a few theories for the timer and stat window. But the healthbar, I am clueless.

Unless you're using the memory hack, in which case it makes sense.

It's interesting, but I haven't use any memory hack. I guess I found another way how to make it :3

This and the general concept both remind me of Rogue Legacy, pretty much the only game of this genre I was interested in and managed to beat. Keep it up, I'd like to see how this turns out.

Really cool looking, I have no idea on how you made the UI, but I like it, it being simple while giving all the info gives a somewhat retro feel

Are the lights/light sources part of the gameplay? I think it would be fitting the overall atmosphere, maybe it could be a mechanic of just one stage;
Having a light source on the kobolds candle would look good also imo :D

Nice game, want to see more ^^

Yeah, It was my goal. Pixels are not suitable to Wc3 anyhow, but I try to make it a little bit retro. :D

I can't say that it is a part of gameplay, but it is part of atmosphere. And yeah KoboD is a lightsource also, becouse of candle.

Looks very promising and original indeed.
I'm always impressed with maps that modify so much the original game that it doesn't look like the same game at all, almost like a brand new game...
Any idea when you'll release a demo/test version?
Anyhow, good luck with your project, looking forward to testing it :)

Looks interesting! I'll definitely keep an eye on this one and look forward to when you're ready to letting the public try it it out.
