Cavern of Chaos (Dungeon-Crawler) (Back in action)
This map was discontinued, but now is being revived for the Christmas Break (and hopefully after). If you would like to help with the project here is what I need:
- Item Makers (you must have significant coding experience as well. Not all items will be trigger-enhanced but the odd one will.)
- Terrainer
- Testers

As of the very moment that I am writing this, all that is done in the map is the core systems. If you would like to help out with this project, feel free to send me a private message with what you can do. Please, only JASS and vJASS coders.
FEATURES
Cavern of Chaos is a new story-driven dungeon crawler that introduces new gameplay elements while keeping a familiar WarCraft III style.
- 5 different hero classes to choose from. Each hero has 6 spells that are unique and offer different uses. Each hero also has a talent tree where they can specialize their hero in two different ways (either offensively or defensive/support). All spells are vJass coded, and incorporate stats.
- 5 fully-scripted boss fights that promise a perfect balance between fast-paced thinking and creative tactics.
- Unlike other boss/dungeon crawler maps, it features a waypoint saving system. Progress will automatically be saved at a certain point, which allows players to leave the game and continue from where they last left off, even with a completely new group.
- A custom damage system with three different damage types:
- Skill increases the chance to land a critical strike with both spells and physical attacks. It also increases the heroes ability to ‘resist’ attacks. Resistance is a new property that has a chance on being hit to ‘block’ some of the damage.
The map will be coded in vJass (only way to do it =P).

In search for a cure to a lethal plague, the King has sent a band of heroes into the mysterious Cavern of Chaos. The heroes soon find themselves finding more than just a cure…

o Physical: Physical damage is mitigated regularly.
o Magic: Magic damage can deal anywhere from 80-120% of it’s stated damage, and ignores armor.
o True: True damage bypasses all armor mitigation.
