Is Reforged worth buying now?

So we know how Reforged began and all that......
But now, after all the patches, how's the state of the game?
Is it worth it or not?

The last patch came out like a year ago, and there's been no word from them ever since, so we can safely assume there won't be any more patches.

If you are really into its modding potential and making your own map, then by all means it's worth it.
If you are intent on playing, then only buy if there's a sale.

If you like the graphics it's not a bad value texture/model pack.

Its not worth 30 EUR but Blizzard won't lower the price. With this tool Quenching Mod (Latest v1.7) you might be able to finally play custom campaigns again. With this you have your ladder back: W3Champions
If these tools are good enough for you then you might want to buy the game.

If you create custom maps and don't care about playing you might want to buy it.

There won't be any updates since the team is gone. You can only hope for fanmade mods like Warsmash Mod Engine (Alpha) or maybe hostbots for custom games coming back somehow.
There is still plenty of good custom maps out there and with Discord you might find players.
