Ideas for a "nonsense" zone?

I'm thinking of possibly having an area in my map where things don't really "make sense" or follow conventional logic / laws of nature. I've thought about stuff like having trees hanging upside down in the air, water flowing upwards, ect.

Anyone have any ideas that could make this a full fledged zone?
 
You would have to know how to convert destructibles to real units, and then how to use flying height and pitch angles. Anarchon's custom inventory system would show you how to make upside down units and in this case trees. The water can also be done this way by using a special effect or destructible or dummy unit, but the easiest way for the water is a custom model with water being a tower like thingy however the same idea applies if you use the waterfall model.

how about reflecting the units when they inter.i.e. they enter :
1 2 3 4 and they are become:
4 3 2 1 and do not forget to change the shape. so, a footman will take the shield with his left hand, and the sword with his right hand (all the units will do). You may want to change armor and attack damage upon doing that(one increas and other decrease or so). It will be cool if they reflect during time interval rather than instantly. Adding some kind of blue effect or using Mirror image effect could improve it. I may use parts of this idea: left and right thing

You can make the terrain be very weird by adding giant blue mushrooms, randomly spawning fire traps, ghostly knights (or any other unit really) appearing out of nowhere riding into the horizon then disappearing. As for gameplay changes, perhaps randomly generated buffs and debuffs such as units suddenly becoming huge with bonuses to damage, units becoming magic immune for a limited period etc.

some spells, like storm hammer, reflect, hitting other than than target, or hitting multiple targets. When projectile reach the target, it reflects Like this /\/*

A two headed ogre has chance to separate or diverge, while others, like grunts, may merge upon entering or so, if they are near each other. It is not hard! You can find yourself a way with your creativity, I am sure. So, when do you start doin this? I am so Excited. I am already impressed with it.

You could make supposed-to-be melee units ranged (like footmen lashing their swords from afar, paladins smashing their enemies which does not seem to hit, but deal damage, etc.) and supposed-to-be-ranged units into melee (archers using their bows at close range, etc.)

Chaos would be having Flying sheeps devouring dragons, exploding trees, elevators everywhere, People on the ground fighting against people onflying sheeps, Flying fishes, Tornados, Storms, Waterfalls falling from the sky, Sand moving to the sky, Paesant beating each other, Drunk creeps, And so on

Also, if you really want to make a weird world, Im master on that.... I can imagine everything! Add some fogs like white, change the sky to something weird to look at like a sky that in the middle there is an abyss, as what other suggested make doodad upside down and there are more...

Yeah, you need some people to make you some custom models. Custom Special effects you can add to the enviroment and produce animations to allow them to turn like that on command and then slowly float up to where you want them and slowly hover up and down or w/e, its not difficult, you just have to find a person willing to make them for you.

The next step of wtf would be to have to be The Area that slows down time, not a gobal, but a general area you can use like a spell, so many people say ohhhhhh its not possable, but it is, I solved it in 2008.

Anyone can make it that knows jass, you simply make sure every unit has a custom projectile, that you set up as a variable, this way you can alter it inside a zone and outside a zone, this will allow units to also have their animations match that of the projectiles speed, and when it hits the person its going to attack, meaning even if you throw it into the zone it will suddenly start to slow down in mid air, just don't spam it.
You can alter and distort the sounds in that zone too and add a special effect.

Will I show you an example? No, because its simple enuf to follow what I just said if your smart enuf.

Indeed your correct couple of days, I use to be a member here for 2 years, don't remember the password, when I last played warcraft, few days perhaps, but i'v been playing for 5 years and mapping for 4. Stopped for 2 years now im back. Pritty sure they removed it for 2 years of inactivity lol.

Anyway, the point of it being explained poorly is because I dont give people my systems, they can build it themselves or have me build it for them or they can take the major key to how to make it work or simply try to read it as a whole and get nothing from it.
