Arthas Menethil (Paladin, Horse Mount) Info:
  • Retextured the Evil Arthas model with the pre-corruption Arthas texture.
  • Includes animations with either a Paladin Hammer or Frostmourne.
  • Inspired by Kuhneghetz's own versions with the Hammer and Frostmourne.




  • Minor fix between Death and Dissipate animations.



  • Resaved using Retera's model editor to fix a bug.




Arthas Menethil (King of Lordaeron, Horse Mount) Info:
  • Created a mounted version of the King Arthas model.



  • Uploaded.



  • Resaved using Retera's model editor to fix a bug.









Daelin Proudmoore (Horse Mount) Info:
  • Modified the mounted Arthas model. The sword was replaced. The shoulder pads were edited and Proudmoore's hat was added.




  • Fixed the hair wrapping.



  • Resaved using Retera's model editor to fix a bug.




Death Knight (Warcraft 2) Info:




  • Resaved using Retera's model editor to fix a bug.



  • Incorporated decay animations.




General (Blood Elf, Horse Mount) Info:
  • Created a Blood Elf General.

  • Created a General for Gilneas.

Original templates are for people who either want to:
  1. Make their own edits. Combining the portrait within the model itself means you no longer have to do edits separately.
  2. People who want to use numerous skins for the model in a map. Instead of extracting the original model and its portrait from the MPQ, they can just download the template, replace the original skin with the downloaded custom skin, and then import it to their map.

This is a rather nice pack, and useful also. They're all nicely executed, with every functional aspect met, and the built-in portrait is well done. I myself asked why having the Original versions there, and even if hardly anyone will need them, they have their use, as you explained. (In theory direct MPQ content shouldn't be uploaded, but they're optimized/linearized, so not an issue leave them inside the pack)
The only minor glitch I spotted is a slight sudden change of visibility at the teamglows, at the variation of Stand - 2. You might want to tweak that to make ends meet. I'd also suggest you did some more edits to Teron or WCII versions, to make them stand our a bit more one from another, at the moment the only point in having both is having different portraits.

Those two issues aren't enough to not approve your bundle, but it would be nice if you gave them some attention. Approved.

The WCII Death Knight is great, but would it be possible to add a decay and decay bone animation so that it can be used as a unit?

Hello Hojo,

I know you are super busy, and I do not expect a reply at all. I am currently making a 31 map coop campaign based on warcraft 2 Beyond the Dark Portal. I have been using your teron gorefiend model for teron, who is basically the star of the campaign and almost appears in every mission.

I have been making the maps on 1.28, but when i updated to 1.29 the model of teron became distorted, in that his face and lower scarf turned into a deep red colour. I am not complaining, as the model is still good, I was just wondering if this is an issue with the patch or if you knew about it.

You do not need to reply at all, I know you are busy. Unfortunately, I do not have a screenshot as I am going to be unable to access the editor for 2 weeks.

If you are curious about the issue, the way the model normally looked on 1.28 can be seen on any screenshot featuring him on my album (for example, below)

As I said, it is such a small issue considering how great your models are (I use them for 70% of my campaign or more). Its just that I was curious about it, since teron is basically the main hero of the entire campaign, and appears in 22 missions... :(

Anyway, feel fee to not reply, since I know this is a silly issue.

Hi Hojo! When I am back to my editor I will give you an exact picture so you can see what it looks like. Yea, I only updated once and now I am resetting it to 1.28 lol, I only did 1.29 since i needed to test the map with someone.

As for the model, I do not mind waiting (I am assuming you will patch eventually?). I personally am staying on 1.28 for now, so for me it is no issue, just feel sad that players in 1.29 will not be able to experience your amazing heron model :p

From what I understand though, any problems with models from the patch change will resolve themselves eventually, so hopefully this will be fixed on its own (though i found no such bug listed on the thread for the "1.29 known issues compilation".

As a side note, in custom games I have noticed that on 1.28 maps, custom black colours revert to red (coming of the horde's entire custom black race turned red). Though for the teron model specifically, the red was not just a normal red, but it was the red of lava. Anyway, in 2 weeks i will post a screenshot of them side by side for reference. But yea, I will probably not approach other modellers since for me on 1.28, there is no issue :p

It is worth pointing out that the Teron Gorefiend model was broken after the new Warcraft III patch. His face and the cloth covering his mouth have turned red. I have no idea what caused this issue but hopefully you will find a fix.

*Fixed! And quite quickly I might add!

That warcraft 2 death knight model is fantastic. Could I be so bold as to request a version without the hero glow and with a decay animation? I'd like to use the model but at the moment I can't because of these reasons.

@Ujimasa Hojo, please good sir, I know I've yammered a lot already about a forsaken styled Teron Gorefiend and WC2 Death Knight model but is there any chance of having those 2 models updated? Just to differentiate them further from the Gilneas General model? Maybe a different cowl and cape? The Orc warlock textures maybe? Like what you did with the Stormreaver Acolyte model, sir?

@Ujimasa Hojo, then is there a chance the skeletal limbs of your Forsaken/Risen models be implemented on aforementioned models, Sir? I only constantly bring this issue up because when I set to play Desolation with your updated models the Teron Gorefiend model looks similar to the Garithos, Knight and now the Gilneas Captain model.

Also as a side note would it be possible for you to change the wrap of the Blood Elf General model's sword with something different? Perhaps the Spell Breaker skin's glaive would look good wrapped on the Proudmoore model's sword mesh, sir?

This all sounds rather demanding I understand, but I do hope that you would consider them, good sir.
