I actually don't really care anymore, the demon theme is extreamly unlimmiting in its curent stage. You can paint about anything you want, stick some horns in its head and call it a demon.

i did suggest in the last poll to limit it to "your own interpertation of a demon from popular culture, folklore and myth".
like a gremlin or such

That would be a good idea if you want to limit it more, but then you would just get a bunch of users complaining about the competition being that.

I say, keep it this way, you can't really make every body happy, but this way you at least keep the majority glad.

Meh I can't draw creatures :/ Well we will just see what it turns out to be, if it ends up demons I'l just draw a city and heck if I get disq. I won't care ^^

imo, it doesnt really matter. as long as nobody else complains, i guess sketching for ideas isnt really a part of the art and you should use the 20 days to make it great

maybe you could take pick of the top 3 voted choicess, pick a random one and reveal on the day of the contest. that way it wouldnt matter what the contestants sketch.
that could probably play out better for all the people who hate demons and want to do mythical or wc unit. its too close a voting to pick a topic outright. and it would be impossible to complain because it was random.

now i think on it, i dont mind the top 3 choices so it wouldnt matter which ever one got chosen

"Demonic" is something supernatural that is generally described as a malevolent spirit. This includes creatures and objects as well.

I could post this definition in the layout.

Random seems like a fair option since we all pull on different sides. I think you should show some determination and make the final decision. After all, you're hosting the contest.

For the last time, quit the griping. It was established since the begining of the theme suggestion that we intended for more original, bizzarre, or lovecraftian horrors. There is no need for half this thread to be 'dunt make red guiz.' And even so, I would go so far to say someone could definitly make a very creative spin on the standard biblical horned red demon. Now get drawing or get quieter.
