I never said you couldn't say Linaze was hosting. For some reason I just didn't mention it.

@ Happy,

Wow, I wanna see that cinematic!

" I want to join this contest! " Click send to: Brain, Hand.

Question: Is there a file size limitation? Also, I don't really get the theme. Do we have to have a narrator talking through the cine explaining the story and stuffs like that?

Yes.
You can do it like someone's father is telling him a story.

Or just a random dude like: "Long ago, the orcs were not green but pink..."

Like that.

  • Storyline
    -/25

    Theme
    -/15

    Other
Camera, Filters, Heroes and special effects-/10
  • 90 % of the winner shall be determined by the contest's appointed judge(s).
  • 10 % of the winner shall be determined by the results of a public poll.
What's 'theme' about?? About 'fitting the given theme'?
I say that this should take only 5-10, and Other take from 15-20, since 'other' is the raw work, and the cinematic itself.

I think ill try to do something for this too. Iv always wanted to do cinematic but dont have motivation.

It took like 1h to make first 3 minutes cause im not very good with cinematics. I got storyline pretty much ready tought. Now its only matter of how much I can do stuff before i get bored.

So i I think ill post my work even if i cant finish it. It would take many hours to complete my storyline....

Aww i just noticed this aint even started yet. Anyway I hope this gets accepted soon so I can start working on my great ideas :<....This would act as a small motivation.

It pretty much looked like every other competition if you didnt look where the thread is....

I am willing to judge, but the judging criteria and rules would be slightly change.

Imports may be used in the map, however they must all be credited and must NOT be specially created for the cinematic by other user.

That's mean model and skin that are request or specially made by other users for you are not allowed to be used in this cinematic contest.

Judging Criteria

Storyline/Theme (40) - How interesting the storyline could be, would it keep your adrenaline pumping for more or does it make you snore? Does the storyline fit the theme?

Terrain & Fog (20) - How well the terrain is develop, goes it make your eyes pop out or does it make you vomit? Does the fog set correctly or horrible?

Camera & Scripting (20) - Does the camera move smoothly without any flaw or it get choppy after a period of time? Does it contain an awesome movement and good angle?

Does the scripting was scripting very well without causing any lag? Does the scripting make everything execute precisely?

Special Effect & Animation (10) - Does the special effect look great without being abuse and cause lag? Does the animation was executed correctly?

Music & Sound (10) - Does the music fit the theme and been play properly? Does the sound effect and voice act was well execute?

Battle Scene (5) [Only apply to a cinematic with battle scene] - Does the battle scene look great, eye catching and excited enough for you to watch again?

That's the judging criteria I would used if I am judge. Of course, if you want to get the bonus point by adding battle scene to your cinematic. You are welcome to it, but a horrible battle scene would probably get a demerit point from me.

I'm pretty sure Linaze has already agreed to judge.
