Right click on the TOD_Campaign_Assets.csw file and open with Archive Utility.

This runs Reforged under Steam's emulation layer
Unzip the Asset Pack as you would a zip file into the retail folder within the Reforged installation directory
The tricky part is finding your "home" directory where you put your custom campaigns. In one user's case (agibsonccc) the filepath was the following:
/home/agibsonccc/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/2542504305/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Warcraft III/Campaigns
The way proton works is you have steam and then an "appid" followed by a "prefix". The appid is basically a mapping to a "game" you specify in the left side in steam. That's wine's root directory. drive_c is C: then from there the paths should be the same.
If texture issues persist after the above steps, try restarting the machine.
Launch "Wacraft III: Reforged" game
Go to “Single Player” → “Custom Campaign”

i do that easy fast quickly (not huge base)

then i need to destroy archmage and violett citadel
when i do this NOTHING happen

Hello. First of all thank you for this campaing, its really great and nostalgic :)
But i have a problem and i cant finish the campaing.
Mission 12, Lost Isles. I have Maim and Zuluhed...........there is no Rend even when he is in cinematics.
Thanks to that i cant finish the mission even when i finished Chogal boss fight only with Maim there is no cutscene triggering, nothing.
Screenshot is from mission start. I tried to restart the mission several times, even reloading cws assets but nothing helped. I even tried to use cheat to skip mission but that does not work too :(

although i am facing a lot of bugs and can not finish the campaign, but the game is absolutely perfect, i reaaly love it its amazing and done with love and passion
i would love from the creators to make other campaigns where we play with ultimate factions such as the NAGA, DWARFS, DEMONS examples . thank you so much for offering your time and effort to create for us such an amazing experience

Hello Guys,

I'm running Warcraft 3 reforged inside Linux Mint via Lutris. Everything works fine but I can't use CSW_Installer.exe as Windows users. Can anyone advise how to install models via CSW_Installer.exe (I tried to run it via wine but it failed) or how to install without the .exe file?

This are results when I trie to run the game with Wine>

This is propably the best custom camping in warcraft 3 I have ever played, for me it have only one problem. The problem is you cant chose difficulty of campaing, it was rly ez for me to play this I would love to play it on harder difficulty so it is some challenge for me. But still it is rly good, the textures and models are just 10/10. I just love this

I have found two game crashing bugs:

I have found two game crashing bugs:

if you have crashes on the save - you need to clear the folder with savegames:
C: / User / Documents / Warcraf 3 / Blizzard Browser / ID / Custom Campaign /

What about if i don't have any save game there? everytime i try to save the game crashes (happens in every map)

And what about the mission "Tol barad" i keep getting crashing errors, after destroying the first city, the game randomly crash and i can't finish the mission. If a look into the crash error i see this (i can send the full crash log if it can help):

I have missing sprites from first missions...
Play with standard/normal/default (yes in War 3 Reforged, the "Reforged" engine is the standard one so...) Reforged engine (what you call "HD" in your installation guide...).
Meaning... I cannot mine, select building, etc.
Nice...
Before I load the save the item and icon skills/actions where also missing (showing a flashy green square)...

Asset already installed twice...

Having same issue here, couldn't fix it on my own :( Campaign is so cool, I really wanna play it more!

Easily the best campaign on Hiveworkshop as of now. The attention to details, the dialogues, the voice acting, the characters, the models... extremely well-done:ogre_datass:. This one campaign is better than the whole reforging of the original campaigns done by Blizzard. However, because of how great this campaign is, the chapters sometimes suffer FPS drops due to Reforged restraints. That can be excused because the graphics themselves are pretty.
Looking forward to more from LoreCraft Designs. May your efforts be rewarded!

Can someone please answer my questions? I will be very grateful.

There is also a texture pack file in the installer archive. Is there a difference between this pack and the one that is posted here separately from the company and the installer? I've watched them, they seem to be the same. Then why upload this package both in the archive with the installer and separately?

For some reason, all the acts in the company are immediately open to me. Is this how it should be? I just watched other people's walkthroughs, and they open everything in order.

If suddenly I need to delete a company, do I need to first delete the texture pack through the delete csw, and then delete the installer itself and the company file?

And what other good companies are there for Reforged?

I've always wanted to play this campaign. but my laptop doesn't run on reforged. I can only watch it from gameplays. and i gotta say, bravo to the creators for making such a campaign.

in chapter 14, after i complete the observatory and archmage objectives, I destroy the citadel but the mission does not go forward. I tried skipping the mission using instant win but does not work as well. Is there a workaround?

I have just finish the campaign and there is only one thing to say. Bravo !
The campaign is a masterpiece. Between all models, voice acting, cinematics and all that was a true pleasure from the beginning to the end.
The only cons I would pinpoint are those -> I got bugs where the progress in ranks and items from Utok and Tarbek were lost as well as some items for my other heroes from a mission to an other.
The references to Warlord of Draenor. Yeah that's sad to see those cause no matter how you use them that thing only brings inconsistencies. A few example are Orgrim saying he just got his armor from the Draenor foundry. Yeah nice and all but he had his armor when he killed Blackand. Or Rend saying he saw a Genesaur. Which is litteraly like if someone of our time says he met a T.rex.
Finally the IA. I played the whole campaign in hard and most of the time the AI is active at the beginning sending waves but when the third or fourth are done they usually go passive, sending only one unit from time to time. That was consitent during the whole campaign except for the map "Dead rises on Sylvermoon" where the assault stayed active the whole map.
To finish thanks again for the enjoyement I can't wait to play your other campaigns !

Created an account just to say that i finished the campaing, the remake was awesome.. I enjoyed every minute of it and cant wait for the Alliance!

Hi - I am having issues with this campaign. The custom models are showing as white without color and the icons are green boxes (attached picture).

Is there a known fix for this?

Had same issue.

EDIT:
Looks like reinstalling .csw second time fixes it.

At first I thought it had to be the TOD_Campaign_Assets.csw from CSW - Installer and Assets
But I tried re-installing CSWAssetsPack.csw on a separate PC and that fixed it as well.

So yeah - fix is reinstalling .csw

This campaign is an incredible amount of work and the result is almost perfect. I love how you brought WC2 into WC3 and modern gaming while, very intelligently I must say, keeping the core intact.


Here is what I think you really need to consider to make it 10/10 instead of 9/10:

-Unit and building collision - It is the biggest issue I have with the campaign! Seemingly passable space between two units is not passable due to the unit collision being too large. This leads to frustrating bottleneck situations in areas that are supposedly open. Units dance around each other to get through leading to unclear and clumsy gameplay. I have the same problem with buildings blocking units.

-I recommend going through doodad pathing blockers again in Tyr's Hand. Some of it should be more precisely placed.

-Rend's Rend ability needs slightly increased range to match his attack range. Right now, he can attack but not use the spell (without hugging enemies).

-Maim is a useless hero. His abilities are very weak and the kill life gain is only useful (even then the hp healed at max level is negligible) when he is fighting solo or in small groups as he has to get the final strike.

-Attack of Ballistas, catapults, cannon towers and aoe ships. I don't really understand how this works. In WC2, a unit next to an aoe attack would get hit, but in this mod, sometimes nothing happens to units right next door.

-Ballistas and catapults need a slightly larger minimum range. They can attack units too close to them at the moment in my opinion. In WC2, they were never able to dance around, if the enemy got near, they were basically done. To compensate, you could give them a boost to their aoe damage.

-Burning oil. Deals almost no damage?

-units on walls seem inconsistent at best. Sometimes, melee units can stand below and hit units on the walls. Sometimes big collision units can walk on one side of a wall, but not on the other (even though the wall pieces have the same size). Here I am in particular thinking about Rend walking on walls.

-While the idea of temporary objectives disabling all other units or parts of the map is cool in theory, the execution could be better. What if I only happen to have 2 units at the locked area while my main army is somewhere else? Suddenly I am stuck with a few units in a hard place. I suggest that you add a timer of 1 minute before these sub-scenarios start clearly stating that the player needs to prepare for them.

I'm looking forward to finishing up this, and then the Human Campaign hopefully down the line...
Then the expansion pack if they ever get up too it etc...

And they did have the Rise of the Horde/First War project too...
Still it's a great and wonderful Campaign Project.

Sad that you changed the difficulty on the early naval mission. That was about the only "difficulty spike", rest is like a breeze.

Streamers suffered a lot and I agree than enemy navy upgraded to 2 when yours can upgraded to 1 is not good balance)
 
I'm sure somebody has asked this, but when you update the campaign with a patch, do we have to redownload the entire campaign AND the asset pack too?
for now there is no need to download theasset pack. When we will update the assets, It will be written in changelog

When big Corporation fail, the community will sometimes step up.

And the Community didnt step up, they Leap to the skies.
Voice acting, new models, breath takingly beautiful cutscenes.

You cannot ask for the greater and awesome representation of warcraft past history of tides of Darkness.

Please consider supporting them. I am a patron supporter of them and they have fucking earn every penny!

Bugreport on Fall of Lordaeron:
Keep objective target had no visuals at all. Running villagers converged on the spot where the Keep should be. By Move Attacking my units did actually beat the thin air, so the object itself existed only without visual clue. :)

Just wanted to hop in and say thank you all for this awesome campaign [Downloading and will be playing it ASAP]! I'm glad to see the community make a wonderful game out the W3R tech. The flavor of Warcraft II is clear, present and the skilled use of the tech is well done! :)

Have a bug - (spoiler by the way!)

When fighting Cho'gall with Maim on tomb of sageras Chogall slowly walks out of the second stage untill i cant reach him then just stands there. Tried a few times but he always leaves before i can get him

does it reproduces on the latest version of the campaing? I thought I fixed it in patch 1.02
