This is a grade 7-8 algebra question! How many of you can solve it?

(B-30)÷4=2x(9+A)x2+(Ax4+2)=20

What is your question, really. Is it to search for B, or A? or both?

1st,
20=(b-30)/4
80=b-30
110=b

2nd,
20=2(9+a)*2+(a*4+2)
20=18+2a*2+(4a+2)

Whereas
20=18+4a+4a+2
20=20+8a

so,
a=0

Then,
b=110, and
a=0

for me it's pretty easy.

(B-30)÷4=20
B-30 = 80
B = 110

2x(9+A)x2+(Ax4+2)=20
4x(9+A)+(Ax4+2) = 20
(36x+4xA)+(Ax4+2) = 20
36x+8xA+2 = 20
(36x+8x+2)/A = 20 (Not sure if from here on this is right. Been a while since I did alg)
(44x+2)/A = 20
44x/A = 18
44x = 18A
uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh what'd I do wrong here? I find it hard to believe that I passed my 6th grade Algebra class with top marks...

edit: nvm I tried using polynomial method I think. Kill me x[

I match your grade 8 algebra question and raise you a first year university math major algebra question.

Evaluate the sum

I match your impossible indefinite integral with wolfram|alpha!

integral sqrt(1+x^3) dx = (2 (x^4+(-1)^(1/6) 3^(3/4) sqrt(-(-1)^(1/6) (x+(-1)^(2/3))) sqrt((-1)^(2/3) x^2+(-1)^(1/3) x+1) F(sin^(-1)(sqrt(-(-1)^(5/6) (x+1))/3^(1/4))|(-1)^(1/3))+x))/(5 sqrt(x^3+1))+constant

Is this what you do for fun.....?
